I approached the food truck and was greeted by a friendly lady. They have a small menu, but his is a plus for me as it leaves less room for me to be indecisive! I ordered a few things. A meat pie, Bissop, and the Jollof (red rice) and Goat that's served with a side of fried plantain. The meat pie had a sweet and flaky crust. It was filled with seasoned ground meat (unsure what kind) potatoes, and carrots. It was very flaky and easy to eat. It was delicious. The Bissop is a Hibiscus drink. It wasn't as sweet as Sorrel, but was spiced and ginger forward. It was refreshing. The Jollof rice was spicy and flavorful. EVERY grain of rice had absorbed the tomatobase and seasonings. The GOAT was tender and seasoned well.The plantain was semi sweet. Overall a great dish. It only took about 4 minutes to receive my food. I waited until I got home to eat because there's no seating and I had my toddler in the car. The food was cold by the time I arrived and it was only a 15 minute drive. I can't wait to go back to try the Eguisi and pounded yam! Reasonable prices and great portions! Go check them out and try something new!!

Egusi: this is the main flavor, listed as a soup on the menu but more like a stew instead. It's nutty and hearty with 5 star flavor and spices. This thing rocked! Fufu: this as a mild and soft starch that goes with it all. Almost like a softer consistency gnocchi or some other potato/noodle combo. Not much to it by itself honestly, but man, what a great flavor bomb when you take a piece of it and dunk it in that amazing egusi. Maybe on a day with fresh and tender chicken, the trifecta would be complete: soft and chewy fufu + rich and nutty egusi + fall off the bone tender chicken. Unfortunately today the 3rd piece was missing.

By the time I left around 6, there were people standing and waiting to be seated. The patio was open with one couple enjoying the nice weather and relative quiet of outdoors. Embur recently relocated to Smyres Place in Greensboro and the new space feels much smaller than I expected. The design reminded me of what I imagine a modern restaurant in Peru might look like. Industrial with solid wood floors, warm finishes, and a large wine display. There are around 25 to 26 tables, mostly two tops and four tops. The largest table seats six, but they will push tables together for larger groups. While I was there, a group of more than 20 came in celebrating something and they were seated quickly without disrupting the rest of the room. The small patio has outdoor seating with about 8 tables and a they have bar area with about nine comfortable seats. The menu took me a minute to understand but I ended up liking the setup. You choose your entrée, which comes with set ingredients, and then choose your protein. Each protein has a different price, so you can control the cost of your meal somewhat. Most menu items can also be made gluten free according to the menu, and vegetarian options seem easy to do. For my appetizer, I ordered the flatbread. Perfection. Rosemary, olive oil, sea salt. Crispy outside, soft inside, and so flavorful I almost ate the whole thing before my meal was served. The server came with water right away and remain attentive but not intrusive the whole time. For my entree, I ordered the Arroz Chaufa with salmon. Arroz Chaufa literally means fried rice. At first the dish seemed a bit salty to me, but once I added the green sauce that comes with it (served on the side), everything balanced out. The green sauce has very mild heat, so if you are not a fan of spicy food, that is the one I would recommend. There is a list of sauces so I assume you can customize your entree. According to my server, the other sauces bring more heat. The salmon was excellent, well seasoned but not too much, and moist. The portion was ample. I was very hungry but I had leftovers to bring home. Service was exactly what I want when dining alone. Attentive without being intrusive. I watched Netflix while I ate and enjoyed my meal without feeling rushed or bothered. The noise level is average for a busy small restaurant. Comfortable enough to relax, but if you want to talk to someone in your group a couple of seats away, you will need your outside voice. This place feels upscale without being fussy, so expected to pay more than average, but I thought it was good value for the quality and portions. I loved this restaurant and will absolutely go back. Must order: Rosemary flatbread appetizer. Tip: Ask about sauce heat before ordering. If you do not like spicy food, start with the green sauce.

Saint Louis Saveurs was absolutely worth the drive even from an hour away! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was amazing. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. You can tell they truly care about their customers and want you to have a great experience. The food? Chef's kiss. Everything came out hot and fresh, and you could taste the quality in every bite. The cheesesteak was packed with flavor, the jollof rice was seasoned perfectly, and the chicken was cooked to perfection juicy, tender, and full of flavor. We also ordered plantains, and they were sweet and perfectly caramelized. The fufu with okra soup was so satisfying and comforting rich, flavorful, and authentic. It really brought everything together for the full experience. It did get very busy while we were there, but even with the crowd, the staff handled it professionally. I even received a free egg roll for the wait, which was such a thoughtful gesture. That level of hospitality goes a long way! We decided to dine inside with our family, and it was the best decision. It was so sweet talking to her even though she was busy because a line formed before she even finished setting up.

The staff were very friendly as we placed our order. They didn't have a huge menu, but what they did offer on the truck sounded good. I ended up getting the Gyro Pita with a side of fries. For being a pretty busy event, they were turning the food out quickly, and we only had to wait a few minutes. Everything came out hot, and tasted great. The gyro was packed with flavor, and sauce. It got a bit messy, but napkins were provided and it was well worth it. The fries were perfectly cooked with a good crunch on the outside, and great texture on the inside. They were also perfectly seasoned. I'm looking forward to trying more of their food soon, maybe at one of the locations next time!

The drink machine and utensils area were tidy. Overall the appearance of this location was tidy. I ordered the chicken bowl and grabbed a sweet tea. The pickles in this and sauce drizzled atop weren't a great addition. The bowl was bland, the pickled onions were good and crunchy. However bearing the bottom of the bowl it had little to no flavor on the chicken. The thinly sliced chicken appeared compacted in the bowl and all other ingredients were simply tossed in the bowl. This was unfortunately not an appetizing meal or experience. I'm Not certain that I'd want to try any other items.

The food was okay, I did request for spicy, it was not spicy at all. I ordered the drunken noodle with tofu. Tofu was kind of soggy, seem like it wasn't cooked all the way. I did enjoy the fresh spring rolls and the peanut sauce that came with it. Also got the tom ka soup with chicken. The soup was lovely. Wasn't a fan of the chicken sa-tay, taste like fish instead of chicken? Over all food was decent, but service was not it for me.

They set the standard for what all good Greek/Mediterranean food should be, with mouth-watering flavors, great presentation, and portion sizes. This is as Authentic as you can get, with both the spices and ingredients. Super friendly owners and folks that run that restaurant, always making you feel welcomed and appreciated, no matter what time of day you swing by. Never seen them not smile, now that I think about it. Nothing better than sitting outside in the sun with a friend and biting into their Gyros. I've been there plenty of times, and they never disappoint. Honestly can't say I've had a bad thing off of their menus. I don't believe in love at first sight, but when it comes to Taste of Troy's Food, I do!

The tahini was good as well and the fries were the kind with that textured crisp on the outside and creamy potato on the inside. I ordered and had it delivered and it didn't take long to arrive. Nice and fresh. Keeping this one on the lunch list.
