Due to the March 2020 lockdowns the wedding had to be cancelled, along with her services, with the understanding that the service would be provided in the future once restrictions are lifted. This should be a 0 star review. Prior to covid I paid Caysi 650$ to do my hair and my and makeup and my husbands hair for my wedding. Due to Covid, I had to cancel . I asked Caysi for a refund in March 2020 to which she told me the deposit was non-refundable AND she didn't have the money to refund me the remainder of my payment. I was understanding because of how crazy the times have been and agreed with her that she would provide the service at a later time. Once I reached out to her, Caysi said she can't provide the service to me in August of this year as she is booked with clients (as if I'm not a client?). I asked to be refunded the other half of my money to which she refused. I then rescheduled my event to a weekday in September and asked her to provide the services. She stopped replying at this point, so I had someone else message her anonymously to see if she would respond to them. She did, and she said she was available on weekdays, so I know she is available but apparently unwilling to provide the service to me. I guess this makes sense , because why bother providing a service when you already have a clients money ? She may be polite but she ripped me off and took my money. I essentially paid 650$ but never received the service. Not only do I have to find a new makeup artist but I also have to spend even more money, which is frustrating. My girlfriend booked CJ for their bachelor party crew. CJ took the advance. We had to reschedule everything due to pandemic and CJ was fine with it. We asked for refund, she said we can reschedule once the Covid pandemic is done. Now we are all vaccinated and reached out to her to schedule any time at her convenience but she ghosted us. I was so happy to find Caysi a couple weeks before my SIL's wedding in Sonoma, while the city was recovering from the tragic fires. She is warm and friendly, open to ideas and has great suggestions, professional, and I love her modern rustic studio! Since I was just walking down the aisle with my SIL, and not officially part of the wedding, I just wanted to put my hair into an up-do. My hair is long, heavy, thick, straight and stubborn, but Caysi helped me do a messy chignon style and styled my bangs so that it framed my round face better. We used a LOT of pins to keep it up! We did a trial run at her studio ahead of time and she was so warm and made me feel so comfortable. I am not great at giving feedback but it was really easy to ask for changes and adjustments. Caysi listened to every detail as I showed her the 2 pictures I chose from Pinterest (the front look and the back). Caysi recently did my hair and makeup for my wedding in Healdsburg as well as my bridesmaids. As someone who is very picky about my makeup and hair, she did an amazing job and I never felt more gorgeous!
