    Delicious homemade waffle cones!
    Cassie C.

If you've spent any time in Ithaca but have yet to visit Cayuga Creamery, it's time to change that! I crave ice cream 12 months of the year and struggle with this because so many of our wonderful shops close for the winter, however Cayuga Creamery is here to save the day. They're open all year round scooping up homemade ice cream with unique flavors! Too cold to eat out? Enjoy your cone in their comfortable seating area surrounded by flyers of local events & businesses. Never been and want to pick the best flavor for you? Ask their friendly staff who is always willing to answer any questions you have!

Cherry Jubilee and Mocha Chocolate Chunk split scoop on a Waffle Cone (~$8)

A great ice cream spot in Ithaca! The interior is super cute and aesthetic, and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. You can also sample flavors too. Their Lavender ice cream had a nice and strong lavender flavor. It wasn't one of those vanilla-based ice creams with a hint of lavender which I appreciated. However, it was not very creamy, and became somewhat one-dimensional the more you ate. I would've liked a textural component or secondary factor/flavor incorporated, but overall decent. I really enjoyed the Cherry Jubilee paired with a scoop of the Mocha Chocolate Chip. The Cherry Jubilee had a very good balance between the cherry and dark chocolate, although I would like more dispersed chocolate pieces for textural component and it could be creamier. The Mocha Chocolate Chip had strong coffee flavor and chocolate chunks. Again, could be creamier and more chocolate to balance out the bitterness of the mocha. Overall, this place has very high quality ice cream where you don't feel heavy or bloated afterwards. I will say that it is definitely on the pricier side where you're looking to spend about $7-10 per person, but I will still recommend trying it out!

    Trick or Treat

The ice cream is pretty good here! Got the Trick or Treat (vanilla and marshmallow base with candy inside). As someone who appreciates contrasting textures, I loved the soft, icy sweetness of the vanilla ice cream with the crunch of the MnM and sprinkles. Delicious! It's a little pricey, but a one-scoop is more than enough with a waffle cone for about $8. They don't really skimp on the ice cream, and offer samples. They're all-in for Halloween, with lots of decorations around the store, a pumpkin decorating crafting station, Halloween candy bags, and 30% for coming in with a costume. Would definitely recommend!

It was pretty good. It's pricey but nothing else around. They had two dairy free options which was also a plus. Definitely with stopping by and trying at least once

Even tho it was FREEZING outside, I still decided to get ice cream since I'm a flight attendant and was only here for a day. Such a cute little place. It's at the end of an inside mini mall thingy. I wasn't sure where it was at first but I kept walking and found it. The two guys working were so nice! Must have been maybe in their late teens to early twenties maybe. Wish I got their names cause I appreciate their kindness. I ordered a 1 scoop Reese's sundae with their chocolate ice cream. Came with peanut butter and chocolate topping, mini Reese's pieces, whipped cream and a cherry. Cost almost $9 but it's definitely worth it! The flavor of the chocolate ice cream was phenomenal!! Would come here over Haagen Daas AND Ben and Jerry's. Funny enough, I did get Haagen Daas a few weeks ago from a mall kiosk and it was HORRIBLE!! To anyone reading this, GO HERE!!!! Spend the money. I promise it's worth it!! I don't leave tips ever for places like this (I also can't afford to cause flight attendant pay sucks), but I did leave them a tip in their tip jar. Fantastic place!! Hope to come back again!!

We walked our way here after dinner to get delicious ice cream. It was amazing. Our son also enjoyed himself and took practically a bath in his ice cream. Cute little place. Good service.

Perfect stop for a sticky humid Ithaca summer day. Ice cream is tasty. Service is quick.

This place ties with Sweet Melissa's next to Shortstop Deli for my favourite ice cream spot in Ithaca. So many great ice cream flavours here. And the ice cream is creamy and delish. There are tables you could sit at but I usually just lick my cone walking around Dewitt Mall.

One of my biggest cravings since getting pregnant has been ice cream. So we HAD to find an ice cream place to go to and try out the local cream. This place was not a far walk past the restaurant we were just at and where we parked the car. Trying to find the entrance was a little confusing but we finally figured it out! We noticed that it was dog friendly, as a dog walked in before us! The creamery was small but adorable. Indoor and outdoor seating was available. You could tell they rotate through different flavors because the signs were hand written and looked recently updated. The staff were friendly and patient since I had a tough time deciding what to order! Both things we got were so yummy!

Their ice cream is very quality! I got pistachio and chocolate mint. It's very flavorful and not overly sweet. Strongly recommend this little ice cream shop!

Ice cream has ice in it. Packed quart is 10 oz shy of what it would weigh. Disappointing.

Amazing ice cream. Fun flavors. At the back of the DeWitt Mall. Try the jalapeño flavor if you're really adventurous!

We did not get the usual, "Welcome to Cold Stone," greeting we normally get from straddling at other Cold Stone stores. We were next in line. After the customer left, they stayed at the cash register and talked for a bit. Which seemed a bit odd to me since we were waiting. Usually, in other establishments, the staff is very attentive and is eager to handle the next customer. Or if we came in as a group, they tag team to get us all completed in a timely fashion and work on the next. This is not what happened. When she finally came to us, we started our order. I was paying attention to how she kept herself, what she did before and after the handling of our ice cream. As she was finishing the mixes in the ice cream, I immediately noticed something different. In all the locations I have been to, this one was different. She leveled our ice cream with the cup it was in. I made this face. I thought it was odd and possibly thought she was going to bug the rest of it in but she didn't. She actually took a bit away in order to level the top of it. When she gave us our order, the ice cream was pouring over the side after she leveled it. She didn't bother to wipe it. I absolutely love cold stone. I know this is a new store and customer service is important. I do hope this is something they are not taught. Ice cream was delicious but I gave it three stars for this above. Hope next time for a five star review.
