I love to mix up my workout routine and my current favorite is CB Fit classes! Before I started Lagree, I considered myself to be in pretty good shape, doing Orangetheory or gym workouts 4-5 times a week. But wow, my first Lagree class kicked my butt!!! The class focuses on slow, but intense movements that work on strengthening every muscle in your body. These classes are intense and never get easier! I usually am shaking even during the core warmup. All of the instructors are awesome, each with their own ways of keeping you focused and motivated through the whole class. I highly recommend CB Fit!! Give it a try! read more

I took my first class today with Pamela and I loved it! Lagree is waaay harder than I thought it would be. Coming from a weightlifting background I thought it would be kinda easy, but the megaformer works muscles I've never felt before. Everyone was super friendly (instructor and other students), the studio is clean, and the atmosphere is fun and supportive. Amazing Workout!! I had been looking for something to compliment my cardio for a long time and so thankful I found CBFit (the Lagree Fitness Method)! I have seen results in my body that I have never seen before...toner & stronger arms, my thighs have shrunk and my body & core is getting stronger than it has ever been. Chelsea, Yoyo and Veronica have been my go to instructors as they seem to match my schedule best. After my first class I was hooked and Chelsea (the owner) advised I sign up for the special new client unlimited month which I used religiously. I attended 5-6 times a week that first month. Now I am on a regular unlimited month package and plan on continuing 4-5 times a week. Recently I traveled down to SoCal and googled the largee fitness method. There were several studios in the area and one just a few blocks from my hotel. Being familiar already with the megaformer I was able to walk in to another studio and pick it right up. ALL body types, ALL ages, men & women and everyone is focused on themselves. I can modify into an easier position on the megaformer if needed or go into a harder position if I'm feeling stronger. LOVE this place and cannot saw enough good things about it. HARD workout, AMAZED at the amount I sweat, and TRULY look forward to every workout!! read more

CB Fit is an amazing Lagree studio! These workouts never get easy for me - which is a good thing! It's very low impact and works my muscles in ways I've never used them before. Yoyo and Pam are my favorite instructors but they're all great. You will hate the first class (at least I did!) but stick with it - it's so worth it! read more

I'd been wanting to try Lagree for awhile and when I moved to the East Bay I was excited to check this place out. I love this studio and the workout seriously kicks your ass... EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It kicks your butt and then some! I'm not in shape at all but this class is a great motivator to start again. My cheeks were rosy and body soaked in sweat. I had Pamela as an instructor and she helped me along the way. It was my first class and although it was fundamentals, I felt like I need more practice and time to catch up. Although I'm not the best at following directions. I'm waking up like an old lady today because I'm sore all over! Crazy thing is I'm already looking for the next time I can sign up for class. As a long time Lagree devotee, I made my way to the newly opened CB Fit. The studio is simple, bright, clean, and super important - well ventilated. There are 11 megaformers somewhat staggered. Chelsea is a very inviting and attentive instructor. She really cares about giving each client individual attention for their goals and she pushes you without ever feeling judged. I love that the classes are 45 mins instead of 40 like other Lagree studios. The extra 5-10 mins is huge, the perfect amount of time to feel like you got an intense burnout, hit the full body, but won't take too long. read more

I was visiting from out of town and just perused MindBody to see what studios and gyms were out there. I am so happy I found this place! I've gone three times in the past week and plan to go one more before I leave. I've only done Lagree a handful of times, but I've tried four different studios, and I like this one the best, even compared to the actual Lagree studio in LA (though that would be my second favorite, and the Supraformer is insane and amazing). Chelsea is a great teacher, and I appreciate that compared to some other studios, the choreography has been different every time while still incorporating all the muscle groups you want to hit, including arms. It is super expensive, like every Lagree studio, but I still wish I lived here so I could keep going. read more

CB Fit is amazing, as is lagree in general. I started coming when I was 6 months pregnant, and by the time I was 9 months pregnant I was noticeably more toned! Shout out to my favorite instructors Yoyo and Chelsea! Every instructor is great at CB, and you really can't go wrong. I'm appreciative that they've added even more class times and class offerings (arms & abs, abs & booty). I know some people get their heart rates up with lagree, but as a long distance runner I haven't been able to get in the "zone" so I vary this with other cardio workouts. But if your main goal is to tone up this is definitely the place for you. I suggest buying the intro month deal and coming 4x a week--you will definitely feel yourself toning up by the end of the month. Chelsea & Paul (the owners) are great and were flexible with my membership as I bounced back from a pregnancy and injury (the instructors are very helpful with any modifications you might need). I have a Clubsport membership and was sick of paying $20 for crappy reformer classes that didn't really give me a good workout. These classes are worth the $$ and the instructors play great music that makes them fly by! And guys--don't let the word "pilates" fool you--these megaformers will kick your ass! read more

This review is for the Climb classes! Their instructors are not great at leading a class (compared to other similar studios), demonstrating a move and often having everyone completely stop what they're doing because they don't count the move in. Today I burned 40% fewer calories climbing than I would in a spin class (at Climb Society I burned almost 1.5x MORE). There's no front desk staff, just the instructors before and after their classes...just get a front desk person! The parking lot spaces are too narrow - today I had to get out of my car through the backseat. Can't wait for the day when the East Bay has a good climb studio! read more

I'm convinced that everybody needs a little bit of Lagree in their lives! I am so glad I took that first class just to "try it out" because now I'm hooked! I hit a plateau in just going to the gym alone; it was becoming monotonous. However, I still wasn't really where I wanted to be in my goals, so going to Cb fit really helped me in that rut. Between the instructors and the routines on the machine, CB fit kicks my butt every time & I love it. The studio itself is always clean & has the best instructors who always greet you with a positive attitude when you walk in and make an effort to learn your name. Cbfit is an awesome high resistance, low impact workout. The 45 minute total body workout has helped me transform my body. As I approach my last 2 years in my 30's and after having 5 babies, my core is so strong! The instructors make class challenging, yet fun which isn't easy to do. CBfit is hands down the best workout studio in the East Bay. I have never been able to stick to a single form of exercise/gym/studio for more than 5 months as an adult. ...until I entered CBfit over a year ago. The instructors are all amazing and extremely friendly. The atmosphere is very welcoming while still being professional. The owners make it a point to engage with you, pick up their phones, and return your emails--superb customer service. I look forward to my weekly workouts at CBfit and never get tired of the instructors' different styles. I love this Lagree studio. The instructors are all amazing - I love Chelsea & Lisa, but I've never taken a bad class and I always walk away knowing I'm going to be sore. Lagree is low impact strength training focused on your core and classes are 45 minutes. It's an amazing workout. The best part is that all the moves can be modified to accommodate your fitness level and/or injuries. I've been a Lagree disciple for a year and I'm consistently challenged. I tried CB Fit for the first time last night, and what an awesome experience it was! Chelsea was super motivating and offered a lot of adjustments to maximize my workout and help me feel stronger. The class actually breezed by and it felt like only a few minutes had passed before it was over. The space itself is also very open, spacious, and clean. A friend recommended CB Fit for my recurring lower back pain. I knew it'd be challenging so I had to wait for my back to stop spasming. She kept "reminding" me and I finally gave it a try. I was hooked after the first session! Pamela modified the exercises for me at first, but within 3-4 sessions I could see and feel my body changing. I could not believe it happened so quickly. Before I went to CB Fit, I did planks religiously because I know core is important for weak backs, but the basic planks never helped that much. Doing the core work on the CB Fit machine gets very deep into my abs and side flanks -- also who knew that your core muscles also wrap around to your lower back? Well I now know! This class made a huge difference in helping me feel strong and reduce back pain. The teachers are kind, encouraging and very capable. Highly recommend this place for 1. back pain 2. change up your work out 3. see results that are different and faster than any other program I've tried (from yoga, to spin, to Orange Theory to Les Mills to Gyrotonics to 1:1 weight training -- they are all good, but CB Fit is noticeably better and different).
