Most recent experience I went in for what I just assumed was a rash. She then took less than 10 minutes looking and just said "it looks like herpes" and was immediate to check and put me on those meds. I corrected her and said that it can't be that and she gave me a different topical cream and that has worked so... not Herpes. It just feels like they want to diagnose me with something more. I've also been trying to get ahold of a provider to get my results after missing a call and haven't been contacted all day. I basically waisted a copay because I don't know what my results were and got no official diagnosis.

My appointment was set for 8:06am -- I was seen promptly at 8:15am and walking out the door by 8:56am. Less than an hour, start to finish! The staff was courteous and well-organized, and the provider conducting the physical was thorough yet efficient. If you're a commercial driver needing a DOT physical, I highly recommend MedCare -- they respect your time and deliver exactly what's needed.

She kept pushing through her work days, but it continued to get worse throughout the week. So, finishing the work week we signed into this minute clinic under "flu like symptoms". The Nurse John on shift must have a similar looking brother and stole his credentials or just plainly stole a badge and forged one himself. Regardless this "Champion" of idiots just took her temperature, checked her blood oxygen, and put the blood pressure cuff over her baggy sweatshirt arm and didn't even get an accurate reading. He didn't put a stethoscope to her back to hear breathing or ask how this progressed. He did shockingly ask when this started, and after my wife said Sunday you would have thought he had an aneurysm. He has absolutely no clue that a 23 year old woman, or any human besides the all knowing John knew how long ago Sunday was. After wasting our time, showcasing his stupidity, sarcastic attitude, and speaking to her like she's a 6 year old, we left. He recommended "sleep" and if he had the common curiosity to ask how she's been sleeping, it's far worse when sleeping. Luckily she works at MUSC and did a patient portal and her symptoms went up to PA-C (physicians assistant) and she was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. Got the appropriate medication prescribed to her. Thank you John for the waste of time, glad you're getting paid to waste everyone's time and money, someone's got to do it. After all the reviews on this legendary John Champion ANCC, I'm surprised he's still working here.

He seemed condescending and definitely seemed as if he was speaking down to us, almost as if he assumed we couldn't comprehend what he was saying. He kept the door to the room open and stood in the door way the entire time (only feet away from office staff) while discussing medical issues/symptoms (what happened to HIPPA?) What happened to patient privacy? It was strange behavior. The location seemed clean, they weren't crowded and it didn't take long to be seen. Perhaps some doctors here are better than others but I was literally wondering if this guy was a real MD....

No options for the patient, only demands from the provider. 2. They will nag you to death; doesn't matter if you're dropping the kids off, trying to get to work, etc. They sent six texts, two emails, and two phone calls an hour and a half. We're all busy, but they still insist you do their bidding / fill in forms on your phone /show up early and then wait, etc. And you can't get information about your co-pay until you've gone through thier lengthy process. (Why not ask for the insurance card first, check it, and verify the co-pay rather than wasting everybody's time?) 4. Once there, the check in process is even more "you will do what we tell you to," and if you haven't registered on your phone by now, you are told to fill in a form on a tablet which includes biometrics, which are all about a much heavier level of tracking. I refused and walked out... 5. ... after which they continued to chase me down by phone. What part of "NO" do you not understand? Because you clearly don't understand the difference between customer service and servitude by the customer. Horrible.

His girlfriend could hardly walk because she was so sick. They went above and beyond to take care of her and deal with our anxiety of worrying about his girlfriend and finding our way there. They don't deal with insurance because they are a small practice, but give you everything you need to file with your insurance company. I was actually shocked that the bill was only $300! We saved hours by not going to the emergency room, got better treatment and just felt very grateful to find this place.
