I had my parking validated at Urban Outfitters and, assuming everything was taken care of, I threw away my receipt. When I went to leave the parking garage, the attendant, Alex, told me I would have to pay the full parking fee because I no longer had the receipt. The only solution he offered was for me to pay the full amount, leave, and then come back later to request a refund. Rather than waste even more time, I ended up paying the fee. It was incredibly frustrating to be charged $26 for less than three hours of parking after getting my ticket validated. I understand policies exist, but there should be a more reasonable way to handle situations like this, especially when the parking was legitimately validated. Overall, this was a very disappointing customer service experience.

I usually park about 4-6 blocks away just to park. Now I know that there is another parking garage close by, it will make my visits more enjoyable. Arrived at the is location at 16:00pm. There were plenty of parking available. Parking is spacious when divided by vehicle. Easy automation gate and provide KIOSK for payment. Overall, very clean parking garage. Time limit is such, 3hrs is $6 etc, and Maximum is $18. If dining at the restaurants nearby or nearby stores, this garage accepts 3 hour validations from all local establishments. Had a good experience. Clean, smell good safe Garage is all that someone can ask for.

It has multiple parking ticket stations that accept credit card or cash. Price per hour cost $4/hour which isn't cheap. Furthermore, this lot gets full very fast during weekends and events. Visitors tend to circle around the lot for at least 40 mins to an hour to find a car spot. Also, parking security is strict if your tkt has expired. It may cost you an arm and a leg. Street parking is available but some post sign 2 hr parking only. Overall, it's a nice parking lot because it's a foot away from the beach.

I was here in Long Beach watching the news and getting ready for school when I watched as the second plane hit the 2nd tower. That memory has been with me since. While on a weekend trip to san diego we visited the air and space museum and were surprised to see a cruiser on display that was actually at ground zero! When I got back I thought to myself "I wonder if there's other artifacts that I can see around town". A quick search showed that there were pieces of steel from the towers here. So on 9/11 of last year, we drove out here to see the memorial and have a moment of silence for the victims. The memorial is located at the bottom of the staircase in a pentagon shaped base and honors all lost in the towers, flights as well as first responders. In the center stands a steel beam that was part of WTC donated by NYC Fire and Police. It's quite surreal seeing an object from that dark day in history.

There's a decently kept restroom and play area, and the last few times I've been here it seems like they're keeping a good handle on the homeless situation, but like anywhere, be thoughtful of your surroundings. Timing wise the morning is lots of surfers, during the summer the mid-day is general beach going population (lots of families who know the deal of an easy beach with free parking), the afternoons are up for grabs, and after 4p you're competing with residents who (understandably) do not care all that much about your afternoon at their home in comparison to having a parking space for the evening. ;)
