I have been getting my hair done by Cecilia for at least 5 years! She is fantastic and my hair has never been healthier and the exact color I want. She cuts, colors and highlights my hair. She has made great suggestions on tweaking the color so the highlights don't get brassy. Also suggested products to keep up between colors. CBK is in the Sola Salon which has individual studios. The color is feathered in at the roots so it will grow out nicely and not just in a straight line of light to dark. I have been coming to Cecilia for years but I thought to myself the drive from Plamdale to Rosecrans is quite the distance so ignorantly I went to a salon in Chatsworth. (I posted a picture of what happened to my hair.)I asked for an hombre look and was given this 'color'I can only style straight as it looked horrific when my hair was natural, and was left with very dry damage hair due to bleach that was left in for to long my hair broke off. So I had to call the best for damage control..made the drive to CBK hair studios and will continue to keep making the drive.As soon as I sat in her chair she worked her Magic. She let me know what could be done for me with the state that my hair was in and it turned a hot mess into something beautiful. AMAZING! That was my experience at Cecelia's salon! Honestly so grateful that she was able to take my in so last minute before the holiday! First of all making an appointment was a breeze. I texted her while I was at work on Friday for her soonest morning haircut appointment. She got back to me so quickly that she could see me Saturday afternoon or Monday morning (Christmas Eve!) I opted for the Monday morning appt. she was so warm in inviting me to her suite. Parking was easy and abundant since it was an 830a appt. I told her I only wanted to take off 2-3 inches and add lots of layers. She did just that!! She put lots of life into my hair with her scissor magic while preserving the length I asked for. The products she used to wash and blow dry my hair felt great! The cut was 65, She was able to get me in and out under an hour. Very enjoyable experience! read more

I love Cecilia Barahona. I literally can't imagine going anyplace else. Her shop inside Sola Salons is beautiful, comfortable, calm and private. She has a lovely window that lets in the sun. I love that her studio is smaller and more peaceful than others' I've been to. Plenty of parking onsite--even covered parking so my car doesn't get hot. Cecilia has been doing my hair for years. I dye it blonde. She's done everything for me from foil highlights, coloring, cutting, Brazilian blowouts and now Keratin. I would trust Cecilia with my life. My 3 daughters (15, 17, and 19 years old) all go to Cecilia for cuts and special things like loose curls for graduations or a bat mitzvah. Cecilia texts and always gets right back to me. Sola Salon is in the same complex as PF Chang's and the movie theater. There was a period where my anemia was wreaking havoc on my hair (I was losing a lot of hair) for almost a year. At my doctor's recommendation she cut my long hair that was chemically straightened a few months earlier and styled it where all my curls came out immediately.
