Veterans or veteran supporters - stop - DO NOT shop here! This is not a military surplus store. I brought 9 bags (aviator kit, duffle, etc) full of Military gear. 40% brand new and still in bags. Offer was $150 total (one item sold on eBay for $180, 2 days later, for comparison). The appraiser didn't even look through the bags. Also, in store clerks and manager are not authorized to negotiate via the owner. So, this is not your typical military surplus where you can trade and negotiate like you can in the south or near a military base. They are built for the airport and paintball communities and not military. Vote with you dollars and don't short this store. read more

My son is graduating from the Academy this week... When he was 18 and as we talk about this endeavor, he said if he graduate, '... Can you commission me?' Well, it has been 6 years since that time... This has been a long journey for my son. Not sure he remembers that conversation, but... I am planning to keep that promise... My 12-year-old who has blue hair wanted to get an army jacket for winter. I went in there with my nine-year-old son and the 12-year-old daughter. We walked around for a while not really knowing what's going on. Then I asked for help and I got a super helpful guy who pulled jackets for me, found the right size,found the warm lining, told me about the return policy, found me a book on survival like I asked for, talked to us about patches, and when I worried that my daughter might pick an inappropriate patch he said he fought for our country,for our freedom to do whatever we wanted. A decent army/navy store. They have all the normal things like cammies, cantines, Swiss Army knives, camping stuff, etc. They have a huge Airsoft section taking up about 40% of the store if you are in to that sort of thing. My favorite part was the 'real' military surplus in the back of the store; they had several interesting items. Most were overpriced, but I did pick up some items anyway. I don't know how often they change up the merchandise in the 'real surplus' section but if I lived here, I'd go check it out every so often. read more

If you're into military surplus, this is a great destination. I have a pretty huge bruise for military surplus, personally. It's raw functionality and tough as nails construction (most stuff, anyway) means it's gonna last for a long time, can take abuse, and is form follows function, as opposed to looking nice. In this day and age, there's not really any such thing as stuff made 'by' the US government. Rather, there is a huge cottage industry of companies that make things for use by the US Armed Forces. It varies in quality and cost widely. This place has a huge selection of everything you'd want, and they have a great mixture of higher quality brands IE stuff that you'd actually send to a friend or relative who is currently serving, and cheaper stuff for the armchair GI Joe guys. They've got everything from bags, packs, extra pouches, clothes, books, knives, camping stuff, canteens, water purification, fire starters, waterproof storage, hats, patches, sleeping bags, and boots. A great selection of brands...Propper, Condor, Rothco, Fox Tactical, Snugpak, Ultra Force, Tru-Spec, and a few others I can't remember now. And best of all....they have real surplus, IE used stuff that's actually seen service, and some legitimate old stuff from the Vietnam and Desert Storm era. Most everything they have is priced pretty well. And they have a giant selection of paintball and airsoft stuff, if that's your thing. I went in just to browse, it was staffed by two younger guys who were fairly persistent in asking me if I was finding everything I needed, as opposed to your typical surplus store people who seem to either be crazy, or surly as a grizzly bear. If you're looking for military type stuff for paintball, airsoft, camping, or just fun, this place can probably sort you out pretty well. read more

I used to go there as a kid and they had a lot of old Army stuff. But now there more of an airsoft place. Even though it's airsoft its still a great place to go there prices are OK and there used uniforms seem to be in good shape. I'd recommend to anyone who plays airsoft and but not for people looking for old Army stuff. But besides from the change its still a great store and I'd recommend anyone to go there read more

CC Military Surplus is not a Surplus store for military gears. CC Military Surplus is more like a Macy's for military gear. REAL military surplus stores have affordable prices like a Thrift store or Goodwill store. Good stuff but with a 100%-1000% markup price. Better to order online than pay these price$....UNLESS you really want it right away. read more

I brought in 12 years of military clothing, 3 totes and 2 large black duffle bags worth from ACU's to OCP's. Dress blues with tags on, brand new boots with the tags still on plus more that the list could go on. This company and the appraiser offered me $60 for all of it quoting that they price at "surplus rates" this company is ripping off veterans who may not know where to bring their old uniforms after leaving the military. DO NOT give your uniforms to them and do not give your money to them. One pair of ACU pants at their store is priced at $49.95 - and they tried to offer me $60 for everything I brought in. When I asked if they could at least round it to $100 because of the quantity of items, the appraiser stated he would give me $100 if they could keep the duffle bags. Absolute rip off, absolute disrespect to veterans. Would not recommend ever stepping foot into a company store that treats people this way. read more

As someone in the paintball community for a decade, this was my first and ONLY time with CC. This store has an awful selection of paintball gear, all low end items that are marked up for profits. They ALSO do NOT work with their customers on goods. If you buy something here and don't use it or want your money back they will smile and walk away without remorse. read more

The two boys working this store now, do not know anything about customer service or customer relations. My dad and I shopped at CC Military last October, and had an excellent experience and Badger who is not there now was so helpful. My dad, a Vietnam vet spent over $300.00 last year, and we were hoping to have the same experience today, however, due to the poor service today, we will never go back. read more
