The second year when the lease was up they raised the rent again to a rediculous amount, so we moved. During move out we had to have cleaners come in and clean the house. They ended up charging us to clean the stove that their cleaners cleaned. We had to choose from their list of cleaning companies that they recomended. The cleaning company's employees are are also theives, they stole our blue tooth speaker and a part for the stove. Shame on you title one. That same house is for rent now and the rent is lowered back down to almost the original price that we started off paying. They rope you in and stick to you if you keep renewing your lease.

He has been terrific at communicating with my landlord regarding repairs and other issues that arise. Most important, he gets back to me within minutes if not hours after contacting him. I have nothing but praise for how he has made it easy and stress-free to live here. Most reviews will probably come from landlords or homes sellers. But we renters may be the most impacted by how well property managers / agents do, so if you're thinking of hiring a property manager, do us renters a favor and hire him!

Last week, Compass Maintenance provided my personal phone number--which is not associated with any…read morebusiness--to an unknown woman, who then sent two men to my home to assess why my air conditioner was not blowing cold air. These individuals arrived without identification or professional documentation and proceeded to walk through my home while only my teenage son was present. They represented themselves as qualified technicians and informed me that the condenser was broken, instructing me not to turn the air conditioner back on. They also stated they would contact me once a replacement was approved. I received no follow-up from Compass for four days, during which temperatures in my home exceeded 80 degrees. Out of concern, I contacted a licensed HVAC professional. They advised me to reset the thermostat. After doing so, the temperature immediately began to drop--clearly indicating a defective thermostat, not a broken condenser. This experience leads me to believe that the individuals Compass sent were either unqualified or attempting to recommend unnecessary work.

Every time I contacted the company for repairs, it took weeks to get a response, and when they did send someone, the work was either poorly done or made the problem worse. The management team was consistently rude, unprofessional, and inflexible in communication--always taking a "their way or the highway" approach. There was no sense of care or urgency in how they handled tenant concerns. After four years, I was given just two months' notice to vacate so they could sell the property. This was a deeply disappointing experience.

The smell was absolutely horrid, my toddler cried and wanted to leave because of the stench and my husband couldn't even finish the tour! I cannot believe you all are allowing showings of the property with such a pungent odor and the driveway being the way that it is. After speaking with Tammy she informed us the driveway will not be repaired "...it's not in the budget..." for them to fix and the smell will not be eliminated until the property "...does not rent..." my family and I will be looking elsewhere. Second, since I purchased my home, I have been requesting that a crushed downspout be repaired. I have been told on over 3 occasions by Reeny that this would be addressed right away. Here we are, crushed downspout still existent. I have a foundation specialist scheduled to visit and evaluate the damage caused by their lack of action. Third, I provided feedback that our new lawn crew does not do nearly as good a job as our previous. The grass remains tall, bushes in trimmed. Reeny responded saying they can't always mow because It is sometimes too slippery after rain, therefore, I need to manage my expectations. Any client paying for a service would rightfully expect the service to be completed or refunded. I do, however,disagree with the former reviewer. Reeny is not helpful. She is condescending, patronizing and on every occasion has told a paying resident to manage the expectations. While I am aware I appear to be an outlier who only has negative things to say, the reason is because I have very low tolerance for poor customer service. I work in the customer service field and cannot imagine behaving as if I am doing the customer a favor by allowing them to pay me for a service. It is supposed to be a respectful and mutually beneficial relationship.

Below are just a few issues my husband and I have had with this horrible company. On the very first month of our lease, my husband and I set up our rent to autopay. I scheduled this payment to go through on the 1st of the month. Only AFTER we had incurred a late penalty did Great Homes let us know that those payment drafts tend to take 1-2 days to go through. Additionally, as we are preparing to move out, Great Homes is sending agents to see the place...WHILE THE LEASE IS STILL IN OUR NAME. I'm sorry, but if we paid to have the place through September 30, you need to hold off agents and potential tenants until then. We paid for that time. Lastly, "customer service" is always dry and rude. Upon getting charged for October's rent (we moved out in September...), I called the management company. The initial response I received was a snarky, "You have to cancel the payment." Um, but you said you have us as moving out in your records, right? Even if this is my mistake, I appreciate being addressed with kindness and empathy-- help me correct my error, don't belittle me. Overall, this company is horrible. Then again, I have yet to experience a good property management company... Update to follow about the deposit refund.

We had to move out due to job change but our stay was wonderful. Timely refund of deposit, maintenance assistance whenever requested.
