A very cool, inviting clothing optional resort in Cathedral City that offers day passes for you to enjoy all the resorts features. Gorgeous remodeled rooms and areas, pool, hot tubs, showers, facilities, lounge areas, tables, benches, water station, lockers, vending machines, and more. Runaway Bar & Restaurant is very popular and they put on shows/performances here all the time. I didn't stay at CCBC this go around, but did enjoy attending events, hanging with friends, running into familiar faces and meeting new ones. Bingo by the pool is something I'd definitely come back for as are some of the watch parties, holiday events and beyond. Laying out near the pool on their huge grassy lawn was amazing, except for when the sun shifted and my phone went wild from being overheated. Grabbing a locker after that was key! And if you manage to secure a locker you have the option of using a free locker if you have your own lock and key or purchasing one with a code. It's a short stroll from the Cathedral City Civic Center and Mary Pickford is D'Place Theater, fifteen minute walk from the Agua Caliente Casino and even quicker drive from both. For a lot of out of towner and travelers rideshare is fairly easy and for EV, plug ins, etc they do have stations. They have a few policies to keep people safe, secure as well as savoring the days and nights here like having clear bags for day guest/pass holders and they do provide as well as have larger clear bags for purchase. Events can fluctuate, especially on the day of, if you're planning on something - secure it right away. Rooms can be a pretty penny, but they do have some good flash sales throughout the year, especially in the summertime, definitely keeping my eye out for that. They had some free services for testing and vaccines after we made our way to the pool area I thought were pretty great. Love the bar, shop and front desk area when you first walk in - modern chic welcoming. All the staff we encountered, including hosts and volunteers for the events we attended were nothing but kind, friendly and helpful. Being a queer space, CCBC is one I hope keeps thriving year after year and being inclusive of all men of all shapes, sizes and shades.

I took a dip in all the pools from one to the next; I love mineral pools. Something about this mineral water feels like magic. Time just froze. It was as if my whole life led up to this moment. Pros: the One Bedroom Villa is generously sized at 800 sq. ft. and includes a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, as well as washer and dryer, along with a separate living and dining area. Plenty of space to spread out! Cons: despite ample counter space, there's only one, regularly sized sink in the bathroom--if I were in charge of remodeling, I'd make it a pair or an oversized one... While perfectly adequate, the furnishings are rather dated in general, and the property overall could definitely benefit from a refresh.

We both had king sized beds with huge closets and a bathroom to share between the bedrooms. The small seating area with couch and a small dining table with 4 chairs was between the bedrooms in front of the bathroom. The kitchenette included a medium sized fridge/freezer and sink with a Keurig coffee maker. It would have been better if they added a small microwave as well, I felt it was the only thing missing. My room with the balcony facing the street also had a wireless charger and sound machine. What a great touch. My friend took the front bedroom with the view of the pool. Both bedrooms had TVs and ceiling fans. The robes were also perfect! I brought my own hotel slippers. Pool area lacked a little bit more of shade but that's a personal preference. It's so nice that the pool and hot tub was open 24/7! The pool bar is so nice to have for a smaller resort like this. It definitely made our experience better! We checked in late after being at the softball field all day. When we first walked into the room it looked super cute but it quickly went sideways. Went to go pull out the sofa-bed for my daughter to sleep in only the find that not only had the sheets not been changed but they were dirty with dried puddles of bodily fluid in the middle. Yeah. Tried to call the front desk but you can't call, only text. So I texted, waited 10 min and after no response my husband went up to the front desk. They literally walked him to their linen closet, handed him some wadded up sheets and said we could change the sheets ourselves. Sorry what? Thats when I decided to go online to try to find a new place to stay. Grabbed my phone, sat on the bed in the bedroom, only to find some lovely pubes in the bed. Texted the front desk again, no response. And because it's so late at night, there's literally no where else to stay in the area because everything is booked. This place should seriously be shut down.

The Oasis in Palm Springs is operating under the…read moredelusion that they own the public infrastructure surrounding their property and their management openly admits to breaking the law. On multiple different evenings, a security guard from this resort was actively patrolling a public sidewalk outside of their property boundaries, driving a golf cart/ATV like vehicle equipped with a blinding, hazardous light. When approached on a public right-of-way to discuss why an unauthorized motorized vehicle was patrolling public pedestrian walkways, the guard refused to identify himself, waved dismissively, and sped off. Thankfully as a safety measure the entire interaction, the vehicle, and the hazard were fully caught on video. Which under Federal Law & California law, anyone has the right to record video and audio in a public space they are lawfully accessing/occupying for any reason, especially so when it comes to their safety. The most disturbing part of this entire ordeal is the management's response. When I confronted the manager about this--which is now a *repeated* pattern of behavior--she flat-out admitted that she explicitly orders her personnel to leave resort property, breach their jurisdiction, and patrol the public right-of-way. Her excuse? The resort didn't build their perimeter walls high enough, so people climb over them and they have security issues so they illegally patrol the public sidewalk on a motorized vehicle. Let's be entirely clear: The Oasis's poor architectural planning, cheap security infrastructure, and inability to secure their own private property is *their* problem. It is not the public's problem, and it certainly does not grant them the right to illegally operate motorized vehicles with blinding lights on public pedestrian sidewalks where they have zero jurisdiction. If you are looking for a resort that respects the local community, understands basic legal boundaries, and prioritizes actual safety over illegal power trips, do not stay here. Management is running an entitled, rogue operation that puts the public at risk to cover up their own property defects. Avoid at all costs
