I stayed at INNdulge in April during a trip to Palm Springs. Check in: The entire process was very easy. I was originally getting in, "after hours" so they left instructions on how to get my key when their office staff had gone home (hours are from 8a-8p i believe). Someone was still there when i arrived so they checked me in and gave me my key, which was an actual key- two of them actually. One for the front doors and and one for your room. The room: The room was nice. I was in a deluxe room which had a microwave that I didn't use. The room was clean. It was not very big, but suited the purpose. It did have a desk in there which was great for days I needed to work. My room, number 20 was next to the ice machine which was the only downside to the room. Hearing the machine all day and night was not great. The hotel: The hotel features a daily happy hour. It features a hot tub and pool and honestly being in either with those Mountain Views is amazing It's a ten minute walk to the Main Street It's a men's resort and is clothing optional except for in the lobby They offer a complimentary breakfast In the morning you can place an order for lunch and they will deliver it to you The staff is welcoming and friendly Based on the rates in the area you're getting a great value here The wifi was strong for those who need to work while traveling. Honestly, i loved it here and can't wait to visit again. It was a great spot and an amazing destination.

Pool

This place is wonderful! It's very peaceful and relaxing, the palm trees they have definitely give off the Palm Springs vibe. The gentleman at check in was very professional and polite, he explained everything and even walked me to my room! The pool is sparkling clean and the have plenty of chairs with umbrellas around the pool area, you can also reserve a covered cabana that has a ceiling fan. They have lounge chairs that you can use to float in the pool with. I chose not to use the jacuzzi during my stay (it was 120° when I arrived) but it looked very clean. They also have a happy hour in the afternoons! The rooms are very nice, bed is comfortable. The shower has great water pressure and is a great size. The bathroom even has a bidet! Would definitely recommend this Inn! It is a short uber away from downtown. I will definitely be returning.

My view from a cabana

Travelled to Palm Springs and my only ask was a great pool area. Picked Inndulge for this reason - and could not have been happier! Check in was quick and friendly, room was very large with a small kitchen. The pool - perfect! Sunlit with palm trees and cabanas and a large nice pool, and a big hot tub. Could have spent weeks here - a desert oasis! Met and talked with other travelers, had a light breakfast, and a few of their complimentary cocktails during happy hour. The property is kept up well, landscaping perfectly manicured. No notes. I will be back for sure.

Having stayed at a grand total of (does the math) seven different resorts in Palm Springs, six of them being gay-centric and five of them being clothing optional, I've come to decide that this is the one. The owners and staff are the friendliest, the crowd is diverse and friendly. The BYOB happy hour is gregarious and warm. The vibe is flirty but not oversexualized. The rooms are neatly appointed and clean. The breakfast, while simple, is convenient and perfectly sufficient. The fact that they have one main area w/ pool and hot tub means that the social scene is always centralized and therefore, accessible. The location is convenient. You can find a more luxurious resort (for twice the price), and you can find something less expensive (that's not nearly as good). But you cannot find a better combination of affordability, convenience, comfort, friendliness, and chill. Amongst its competition in Palm Springs, this place stands out as a pretty clear winner.

Cum

The room had cum stains on the chair and bed frame. Broken ironing board. They had two men out by the pool with their luggage trash etc. It looked like a homeless encampment.

I was hoping the desert air would make the impossible, possible. Arrived on a day with nothing but blue skies. They had lockers to store my belongings; robes and slippers are included for the day. They offer facials, massages, and body treatments. It was so nice to unwind and bask in simple pleasures that life has to offer. I took a dip in all the pools from one to the next; I love mineral pools. Something about this mineral water feels like magic. Time just froze. It was as if my whole life led up to this moment. Nevertheless, sky gazing is allowed and in fact encouraged to watch the clouds drift. Birds chirping was music to my ears. The plants were oxygenating and the landscape was therapeutic. Staff and guests were friendly. Prime spot for spa-goers. Welcoming inspiration. Get inspired today. You know people are known to see water in the middle of the desert...Was it all a mirage? Did it really happen? I think I just talked myself into going back--I need a redo. #DontBeBlueBeYou #IndulgeInBliss #BestVersionOfMe "As you walk through the desert of life, may you always find your oasis!" I grew up in San Diego and we had a second house in Indian Wells so I used to come out to this area often growing up and it's good to be back in a comfortable setting. I would say that the Ritz Carlton is probably the best hotel in the Coachella Valley given that there are very few other five star options. It's located in Rancho Mirage pretty much right in between Palm Springs and Palm Desert. It's located on the top of a large hill so it has great views of the valley. They have a steakhouse on site called The Edge, which has it selling feature being these views and the great steak. The hotel is not extremely large. It only is three floors, but it's a perfect size in that it doesn't seem too large or too busy ever. We chose the club lounge which allowed us to have free food and drink pretty much all day and they did a great job with adding new options to the menu. There is not an on-site parking lot so it will be valet parking only. Originally opened in 1988 and then reopened again in 2014 after a major renovation this place has been a staple of the desert for decades. The one strange issue we had is that we when we checked in we found adult sex toys in our bedside cabinet drawer, which was extremely odd for a Ritz Carlton so I would suggest that the cleaning crew check for these things but luckily we were a couple of adults without kids so it wasn't an issue just odd. The rooms themselves are well done and large with a full tub and shower and comfortable beds. Room service is also really good and the whole resort really lives up to the Ritz Carlton standard. I would definitely recommend if you are visiting the desert and I will be back again in the future.

I know because this family's-third stay at a Ritz Carlton for the month of July-- Ritz Rancho Mirage is truly the best one we've ever stayed in California! Ritz Rancho Mirage property really needs to share its expertise and guidance with the less impressive, failing Ritz Half Moon Bay. That property is just Awful. SERIOUSLY help that horrid property out. Here at Ritz Rancho Mirage from the moment we arrived, we were greeted by all the wonderful valet men at the driveway. Bright happy smiles. Checking in was a breeze, with smiles, excellent customer service, and a super quick process. As we walked through the hallway towards the elevators, we were greeted by several staff members who said hello to us. Every employee we encountered at the property seemed to enjoy their job. It was such a wonderful day to see the Ritz Carlton stuffies for kids, three different options. Our kids chose the ram. Our family is known for collecting all the Ritz Carlton memorabilia and visiting all the properties around the world. So for this property to have three stuffies was a surprise The sweet, friendly young woman at the front desk showed them all the options, they could choose from. Our Family really loved our room. We again booked two connecting rooms. A double bedroom comes with a couch and is very spacious. The king bed also came with a little couch. The first floor had a very unique vibe that we all liked. The decoration of the Crystal lights was very cool. The bathrooms were all looking like they had a complete renovation. Big huge bathtubs for our little toddler to swim in his bubble bath in. Housekeeping staff I give them a 10! Phenomenal job all you amazing ladies and gents working in housekeeping. All of them were friendly, checked on us, offered more towels. Our room was serviced EVERY time we came back to the room, clean, spotless. Not like the disgusting Ritz Half Moon bay. The housekeeping crew here all were on top of their duties with great smiles and attitudes. We happily will be bringing more cash for them next time. Very hard workers. I appreciated all of you guys in housekeeping. The family pool was amazing! It was not overcrowded and it was clean, all the music playing was completely perfect for families. They keep the area very clean and the staff was always checking in on us to see like to order anything else or needed anything. The service at the Pool side is five star! The view from the property is spectacular! My family really was surprised at night that there was a star watch around the pool. We were able to see through the huge telescopes two distant stars. What a great treat. We all did enjoy the shops there at the resort. They had a great attire for the entire family. Dad found a wonderful shirt and our toddler found the cutest swim shorts. We don't like to do so far. This one is the best Ritz in terms of on site shopping. Overall, our family had a five star one experience at this property. So wonderful that I am very sure we will be booking more visits through the year.I cannot tell you enough how nice, accommodating and friendly staff is here at the property. If you have fur babies go ahead and bring them along ..this property is dog friendly! Our two Frenchies really enjoyed their time here.. being spoiled by the staff. They give water bowls and dog treats. There are many dogs in the property during our visit. Each of them were also happy to be able to socialize with their families as we could tell. If you can't tell...I Love the Ritz Rancho Mirage.

I was a little scared when I read that most of the recent reviews were negative. I was thinking "oh no! What did I get us into." This place is a blast from the past. The decor is that of a mid century modern and is a really cozy quadrangle set up. The interior feels homey and the property is set up like an air bnb with shared amenities. They play 1950s music all day on speakers throughout the complex, it creates that vintage feel but can get repetitive after a few days. Lounge with tables, board games, travel brochures, couches, fire place, coffee and tea, and industrial kitchen for use during your stay. (Old reviews mention happy hour, breakfast, snacks, etc. these are no longer offered but why not just bring your own?) Each room has microwave and mini fridge. Outdoor gas fire pit for use. The pool is small but has a deep end 8ft which is nice. There are pool noodles and some tubes to use. The hot tub is spacious and powerful jets. We stayed in the Hawaiian surf room, loved the theme it was so cute and felt like a tropical getaway. The shower is small but functional. Good AC unit with a remote control and ceiling fan. Surfboard coffee table and wicker love seat add to the tropical feel. Overall this was a nice private getaway. You can be left alone to relax! If you need anything you can text the hotel and someone replies super quick in my experience. The hotel feels very secure with codes needed to enter the complex and security cameras at the entrance and surrounding the complex. (Probably for management to check and make sure everything is running smoothly). I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I have stayed at a few different boutique hotels in the area. This would be a top choice! Please realize this is an older complex and it does show some wear and tear but come on the building is probably 100 years old or somewhere close to that. If you are expecting a sterile, high end, resort feel for your stay this is not your place... but otherwise this is a great choice! I couldn't help but feel bad for the owners with all of the really bad reviews on here because that was truly not my experience. I left off one star because there are definitely areas of improvement that could be made but not enough to ruin my experience.

All rooms are a maximum of two people with a hot tub, refrigerator with water, microwave, and coffee maker, air conditioning, and DVD player. If you'd like, bring a DVD and popcorn to enjoy during your stay. The bed was pretty comfortable. There were more than enough pillows which I'm guilty of using more than one pillow while I sleep. I love how the comforter was linen on the outside, but cozy and warm on the inside. The Crooners room has two sinks, but I only used one. There is happy hour everyday at 5pm by the pool or communal area with snacks and beer or wine. During my stay there were chips and salsa and the following day was veggies with dip, with of course a drink of choice. Really nice touch added to my stay. It's been a while since I have stayed in a bed and breakfast and I love the homeyness here. Breakfast is served in the communal dining area with hand sanitizer provided. The three-course breakfast starts with a fruit smoothie, a fruit parfait and a hot breakfast. For breakfast they served blueberry pancakes with sausage and the following day it was quiche with artichoke hearts and potatoes. I loved the service here so much. You sit at a table and they serve the food to you. The pool is open 24 hours will pool floaties available to use as well. Another thing I like about this place is that because there aren't many people (max 40 people at a time) it is highly likely you will get the pool to yourself. When I checked out and left the property I told my husband I would enjoy staying here again. I really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend you stay here too.

Highlights include a wonderful water park with 2 large slides and a fantastic lazy river. For the little ones, there's a splash pad and a smaller slide plus multiple pools. For adults, there's a whole section of quieter adult pools that are all well maintained. But the highlight is easily the lazy river. I could get my beverage and float all day in the lazy river if I'm honest. Which isn't to miss anything about the beautiful property inside as well. The coffee shop has a lot of good coffee and solid lunch and breakfast options. The rooms are spacious and clean, we couldn't have been happier. Also the gym is nice and next to a man made pond. The only downsides are the restaurants on the property didn't do much for us for dinner, but the poolside offerings - from the Hyatt's own poolside service to the pizza restaurant were good, if not great. The other downside is that busy seasons mean you need to get to the pool early to get a chair. It fills up pretty fast. Inconvenient as it may be, we never waited for a slide or inner tube long once there. Also the dive in movie is relying on pretty amateur tech. The outside PA speakers and bed sheet feel cheap. We skipped it. A comfortable stay, great family activity, and a fun/clean atmosphere make this the hotel we always book first when looking for a fun getaway to the desert.

A serene atmosphere makes it suitable for whatever you are looking for during your vacation. Being on the first floor, I did contend with overhead noise, as I could hear my neighbor walking around. However, I would choose a ground-floor, poolside room again for convenience. Breakfast and lunch are included in the room rate, and both offer plenty of options. Having fresh meals on-site made it easy to plan relaxed days by the pool or in my suite. The guest culture at Descanso is also special. During my week there, I found other guests to be fun and friendly. There's a nice balance: it's easy to have conversations, but there's no pressure to socialize. The clothing‑optional resort and compact layout foster a sense of ease and privacy, yet you are always just steps from your room, the pool, and the cantina, which keeps everything convenient. If you're thinking about staying here, I especially recommend Descanso if you value: * An upscale, men-only place with a friendly but calm atmosphere. * Large, comfortable rooms that feel like home, even for a week or longer. * Very clean pool and hot tub areas where you can easily spend most of your day. * Quality breakfast and lunch are included, making it much easier to plan your day. I will happily return to Descanso Resort and highly recommend it to gay men looking for a refined, relaxed Palm Springs getaway with great service, generous amenities, and a truly welcoming, social atmosphere.
