I absolutely love coming to Oasis. It has become our annual family trip for the past 15+ years. My great grandma came here, my grandma, my mom, myself, it has truly been our oasis. This resort is better than staying at a hotel. The full kitchens, dining room, washer and dryer, little patio area with grilling just make it feel like a home away from home. So easy to cook in the space as they have all the utensils and appliances. The only issues I have ever experienced is checking in can be a hit or a miss, as at times we have experienced rooms not being ready on time, but for the most part, it has been wonderful. There are plenty of pools. When we went one was being remodeled but it was a short walk to the next one. And we did recieve notice via email regarding work which was nice. Grace at the front desk was wonderful! She was so pleasant and kind when I talked to her on the phone when checking in. Great customer service! She is incredible! Made such a difference when I walked in for the keys as I already felt her wonderful energy thru the phone. Thank you again. read more

If I could give this resort zero stars, I would. The Oasis in Palm Springs is operating under the delusion that they own the public infrastructure surrounding their property and their management openly admits to breaking the law. On multiple different evenings, a security guard from this resort was actively patrolling a public sidewalk outside of their property boundaries, driving a golf cart/ATV like vehicle equipped with a blinding, hazardous light. When approached on a public right-of-way to discuss why an unauthorized motorized vehicle was patrolling public pedestrian walkways, the guard refused to identify himself, waved dismissively, and sped off. Thankfully as a safety measure the entire interaction, the vehicle, and the hazard were fully caught on video. Which under Federal Law & California law, anyone has the right to record video and audio in a public space they are lawfully accessing/occupying for any reason, especially so when it comes to their safety. The most disturbing part of this entire ordeal is the management's response. When I confronted the manager about this--which is now a *repeated* pattern of behavior--she flat-out admitted that she explicitly orders her personnel to leave resort property, breach their jurisdiction, and patrol the public right-of-way. Her excuse? The resort didn't build their perimeter walls high enough, so people climb over them and they have security issues so they illegally patrol the public sidewalk on a motorized vehicle. Let's be entirely clear: The Oasis's poor architectural planning, cheap security infrastructure, and inability to secure their own private property is *their* problem. It is not the public's problem, and it certainly does not grant them the right to illegally operate motorized vehicles with blinding lights on public pedestrian sidewalks where they have zero jurisdiction. If you are looking for a resort that respects the local community, understands basic legal boundaries, and prioritizes actual safety over illegal power trips, do not stay here. Management is running an entitled, rogue operation that puts the public at risk to cover up their own property defects. Avoid at all costs read more

I've been coming to the oasis for more than a decade. I love coming here. I come yearly. About 2 to 3 times, and I spent sometimes stay up to a week here and I am always completely in Zen. A quick get away with a friend. It was like a home away from home. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit on the first floor. We were able to spread out and gave comfort. Located at the back of the property we had a great view of Bob's Barkers home. The Mountain View was beautiful. We were very closet to 2 pools on the property. Choosing Lyft as our transportation was both convenient and easy to do. The unit provided a private bathroom per room. Kitchen had the basic of needs to complete our morning and evening meal preparation. We enjoyed the pool and bike riding around the area. We even worked out at the gym on the property. Overall the property was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful when needed. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Management is non existent when you have concerns. The front desk needs serious training and no manager on site or available to communicate with. I highly recommend hotels that are honest, up front and understand and grasp what good customer service is. This place is truly lacking and you will be highly disappointed. This is our new favorite spot in Palm Springs. Rooms are comfortable and include a great little kitchen with everything you need. The resort is quiet. We love that there are lots of pools to choose from. Our kids enjoyed riding bikes around the property. We like that it's gated; it feels safe for our family. Residents at the property are friendly. My wife reserved a suite here on a Saturday night. She got a confirmation notice for a standard queen suite. The cost was about $225. They have a 4:00pm check-in time. Our room wasn't ready until 5:15. This was inconvenient, but whatever. When we got to the room, we were confused because we didn't see a queen bed. It was a small room with a small kitchenette. Then I noticed a big cabinet against a wall. I pulled on it and discovered it was a murphy bed. There was no standard queen bed in the room. The bed was only several inches off of the floor with a very thin mattress. I am 66 years old and don't get up and down from the ground as easy as I used to. I went to the front desk and told them this was not going to work for me. They informed me that all queen suites had murphy beds. The mattress in my motor home is much better than this mattress. We were in the room for about 15 minutes. I asked for a refund and was told that since it was booked through a 3rd party site their was nothing they could do. I double-checked their website, and it does not say suites had murphy beds. If it did, we would have never booked the room. There are pictures of standard queen size beds on it. It does also shows a picture of a folded up murphy bed but no mention of it being in all queen suites. We left there and found another room, and booked it. Don't try to pass off a murphy bed with a cheap, thin mattress as a queen suite. That's dishonest. read more

Stayed here for a week while on vacation in Palm Springs. Resort is beautiful! So much to do here- 9 pools, 8 jacuzzis, tennis courts, bocce ball & pickle ball! There are also 2 complimentary bikes in each unit, electric bbq grill in each unit, washer, dryer & a garage! The resort is pretty big, so you'll get plenty of exercise by walking or riding your bike the whole loop. The "cons" - that you're not allowed to set the thermostat to lower than 72 degrees, otherwise you'll be held financially responsible if the a/c "freezes and need repair". 72 was comfortable, but I run hot, so I like being in an igloo. There isn't a lot of privacy in the back patio. The cement walls are waist high and has an opening so anyone can walk into your patio. read more

Our "villa" was infested with roaches. This was our 3rd time staying here and the other visits were great, but this last experience over Memorial Day weekend was terrible. When we first checked in I found a huge dead bug under the sink but didn't think much of it. Two days later I'm putting my 2 year old to bed and a huge roach comes running across the bed. I killed it with a childrens book and then put my flashlight on to search the bedroom. There were FOUR dead roaches in the bedroom alone, and another dead one in the living room. Next morning my husband is standing in the kitchen and felt a tickle on his foot. He looked down to see a roach on his foot and another huge roach crawling by the wall. When we checked out that morning I told the front desk what happened and the woman's response was "I'm sorry, we will tell maintenance to spray the room." No offer to make things better, no shock or profuse apology, which makes me think they know there's rooms with roach problems and they rented them out anyway. On top of this the walls are so thin. Let me start off by saying this is a beautiful resort! Cons: Condo wasn't ready, we got there at 4:30pm and didn't get checked in until 6pm. One lady complained about waiting 2 hours. They do not give you new towels, so bring your own laundry detergent to wash them. The electric grill they provide only heats up to 200 degrees, so it took forever to cook our food for the 4th of July. Pros: Plenty of pools & spas to choose from. They give you an option to use the complementary bikes located in the car garage. Which we end up not using. The temperature in the condos are set to 72 degrees which was good for me and family. If your looking for a lower temperature good luck because you can not change it. It's cool to plenty of eating spots and grocery stores. We went to the Morongo Casino which is about a 15-20 drive. The front staff called us to check to see how our stay was going, very nice of them. Overall I had lots of fun & will booked a trip here again. read more

A couple years later and I still love the Oasis! Since my 1st review I've been back multiple times, brought family and friends, and it NEVER dissapoints. Customer service is awesome, amenities are great and the 2 bedroom suites make me never want to leave! I'm booking another trip right now. I love Palm Springs and liked trying new hotes but I havent stayed anywhere else since my 1st trip to the Oasis. It's my go to. I wish they had a loyalty program like Hilton or Hyatt, I've definately earned a free stay lol. The ONLY reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because there's no restaurant on premises. I choose condo hotels like the Oasis for the kitchen and cook anyway, but it would be nice to have the option. read more

Supposedly none of their rooms have real beds. They only offer rickety, creaky Murphy beds. The property claims that booking.com will not allow them to state this. Although every photo of the property and rooms shows a real bed. Pretty misleading. If you have back problems like me, I would not recommend staying here. We stayed for 5 min before cancelling the reservation. They charged us the entire cost of the stay and were unwilling to negotiate any refund. Booking.com attempted to reach them to help us, but couldn't. It was a very disappointing experience. read more

I arrived to check out at 11:45 and there's already a woman livid because she has to pay a late check out fee. She seemed to be telling the assistant resort manager, Dylenia, that the late check out was due to a problem with her room, and not her fault. They told her that check out is at 11am and since she had not called ahead to ask for late check out, they could not waive the fee. I thought to myself, good thing I called at 10:45 and asked Jonathan at the front desk if we could check out at 11:30, and he had replied "OK". Well, they still charged me and Jonathan claims he told me I couldn't be a minute late. This is a lie. Shame on you. Other than the checkout experience, the grounds were clean, the room was spacious, and we enjoyed the pool. Check in was easy. Unfortunately for them, there are tons of other places to stay. I work in customer service and the customer isn't always right, but you don't need to lie to make a few more bucks. Bad corporate policy. read more

This was our first visit here. The facility was easily found. Upon entering the well manicured grounds we did have a bit of trouble determining the location of the office. But once found, we were good to go. Our unit (A3) was a 1 bedroom suite. It was nice. Oh, a word of warning. With the unit is a garage. If you drive a Smart car or a 1949 Nash, then your vehicle will enjoy the facility. We have a full size SUV. That baby was never going to make in the garage. The gentleman in the next unit had a sedan...but even his Rolls Royce would not fit. This facility has activities each day. You will receive a copy of the schedule upon registering. If you have children, they will find much to enjoy. We received a very nice rate with Bookings.com. read more

Bedbugs. Beware. I stayed here for one night total and when I awoke, I discovered a bed bug casing/shedding on the bed. When checking out, I put the specimen into a ziploc bag and asked the hotel clerk to please inspect. I had an important interview that day and not much time to consider this matter. After driving home, my partner and I brought our clothing to the dry cleaners. I was going to give Oasis Resort 3/5 stars originally. The redeeming qualities included the patio and kitchen. As one person mentioned in a different review, the murphy beds are creaky and very uncomfortable. There were no shampoos/conditioners provided. The room didn't smell dirty, but it didn't smell clean either. We were willing to put up with that considering the hotel was decently priced. Unfortunately, the hotel staff refused to address the bedbug matter and give a partial refund (which would have gone toward the dry cleaning fee). If you're fine with a less-than-mediocre experience, take the chance. Personally, this was a terrible experience and I wish I booked elsewhere. read more

This place was absolutely beautiful. I loved our room and everything about it. We had a full kitchen, living room, and two master bedrooms in addition to a 3rd bathroom. I was so impressed. The whole place was clean and I felt very relaxed there. It is unfortunate they only have one pool open at night, so we didn't get to swim since the one pool that was open was full of people (even around 11pm). Our room was a nice little retreat though so that was nice. I would definitely stay here again. The front staff were very kind and courteous at check in. They provided all the towels we needed and when our room was missing a shower curtain, someone was sent over asap to put one up. Overall a great experience! read more

Spent the weekend here with friends. We had a lot of fun. Upon checking in Lorili was very courteous and professional. She gave us all the instructions we needed and still had a smile on her face even thought it was almost 11pm. She was very helpful. The condo was very spacious and had everything we needed. The pools were fantastic, refreshing, and not too crowded considering there's a pandemic going on. The bikes were old fashioned, but still fun. Everything we wanted to do was close. Downtown was probably about 10-15min away. Noise levels were down. Just the perfect spot for a getaway weekend, if it was 100+ degrees outside. read more

We had a wonderful time here. The 2br was really big and great for our family of 5. My son said the Murphy bed was very comfortable. The pool was about 85 degrees which made it comfortable to swim even when it was only 60 degrees outside. The hot tub was giant so we could be there with other families and not feel crowded. My home away from home, I've been coming here for years. I own timeshare here and it's always nice to come here and get out of the city. Everyone things Palm Springs has nothing to offer but it's a few things to get into. For me I love chilling at the resort, there are like 10 pools. You have bikes in your units along with BBQ grills in the back. It's an enclosed condominium resort. So your worries are at a minimum because you can't just gain access. It's very secure and the staff is super helpful. There's Tennis courts, Basketball courts activities for children if you have them. This is a perfect vacation for the weekend. read more

Now, I am getting the run-around about my shirts. Turns out they "can't find my shirts." The condos are all super clean and nice (we've stayed at a one bedroom up to the 2 bedroom plus den) and the pools are always kept up and since there are so many, they never get overly crowded. There's a grocery store down the street so stock up on drinks and snacks and you're good to go! Only about 10-15 minutes from the main downtown strip, so convenient! read more

Pros = this is a comfortable, family friendly destination. It's clean and has lots of pools and we overall enjoyed the location. The ladies at the front desk are friendly. We've stayed here twice. We understand Covid caused resources to be tight and we overall like the resort and are willing to work with them but this is unacceptable and it happened twice. We were not able to check in until after 7pm...We waited outside in 100 plus degree heat by the pool for hours! Not ok. Sadly the staff made it a point (with a straight face y'all) to tell us we have to check out by 11am with no regard to their commitment to make the customer whole. This is unacceptable and really shows a lack of regard for the customers. This place is fun and has the makings of potentially being a great, budget friendly resort but the business practices are not acceptable. Although I only stayed at the Oasis Resort for a night, it was a wonderful experience and I wished I could have stayed longer. My friends' parents graciously offered her their time share for the weekend so we could have a girls' getaway from San Diego. We originally planned on staying two nights but our plans shifted from leaving Friday night until Saturday morning. We arrived around 11 AM on Saturday and stayed until 6 PM on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time at the resort. The unit itself was spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a Murphy bed in the living room that we didn't use. The master had a king size bed while the guest room had either a double or a queen. We didn't have an opportunity to use much of the kitchen but it seemed to be stocked with everything you would need to cook. We found a wine opener and wine glasses and that was all that really mattered for us. :) The outdoor patio area was nice for relaxing in the shade and there was a barbecue that we briefly considered using. The private garage was a nice touch, especially for keeping the car out of the heat. The only slight complaint I have about the unit is the height of the shower head. I'm 5'8 and had to do a back bend to wash my hair. I can't imagine how taller people would cope with a shower head that short. The rest of the grounds were well-kept and we enjoyed an afternoon at the main pool. It's on the smaller size for a resort pool but was all we needed to stay cool under the desert sun. There were other pools scattered throughout the resort too. The resort is located about 10 minutes from downtown Palm Springs and there's a grocery store just a couple of blocks away to pick up necessities. read more

WOW!! What a wonderful resort. I'm so impressed by the quality of the facilities and ease of staying here. My friend booked a two bedroom unit which was perfect for the five of us who were staying there one weekend. The unit was well-stocked with EVERYTHING, from kitchen cookware to bathroom amenities. We never once said something like, "This place should really have a wine bottle opener." Because I have totally said that in other resorts. Each unit has a dedicated parking garage as well as street parking for additional visitors. The "neighborhood" is rather peaceful and quiet. There are several pools and jacuzzis around the resort so guests can spread themselves out. The beds are comfortable. There is a grill on the back patio of the unit with BBQ tools in the kitchen. Great place to stay with family or friends. Plus it's located nearby grocery stores, restaurants, and bars for easy access! What more could you want out of this place? read more

Stayed here for several days and enjoyed the property. The good part is that the kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked for a shortterm rental. The two bedroom has 2 bathrooms and is spacious which is nice. They have a garage for the car and other in unit amenities. They have lots of pools to choose from. It's a great place if you want to take walks and go to the pools. They offer two bikes for rental and tennis rackets. The negative is that they did not have the fitness room open even though the county covid level is moderate and fitness operates at 25% - they said that they did not follow fitness guidelines for state of california because they are a resort? It's a hassle having to go through the guard gates all of the time. The room was overall pretty clean except the floors which were horrible. We had friends in another unit and same issue. It seems like they vacuum the hardwoods but don't mop them so your feet are dirty looking after walking barefoot on their floors. We had two cockroaches in our kitchen which was no fun!!! read more
