A quick get away with a friend. It was like a home away from home. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit on the first floor. We were able to spread out and gave comfort. Located at the back of the property we had a great view of Bob's Barkers home. The Mountain View was beautiful. We were very closet to 2 pools on the property. Choosing Lyft as our transportation was both convenient and easy to do. The unit provided a private bathroom per room. Kitchen had the basic of needs to complete our morning and evening meal preparation. We enjoyed the pool and bike riding around the area. We even worked out at the gym on the property. Overall the property was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful when needed.

Cheap murphy bed being sold as a standard queen bed.

My wife reserved a suite here on a Saturday night. She got a confirmation notice for a standard queen suite. The cost was about $225. They have a 4:00pm check-in time. Our room wasn't ready until 5:15. This was inconvenient, but whatever. When we got to the room, we were confused because we didn't see a queen bed. It was a small room with a small kitchenette. Then I noticed a big cabinet against a wall. I pulled on it and discovered it was a murphy bed. There was no standard queen bed in the room. The bed was only several inches off of the floor with a very thin mattress. I am 66 years old and don't get up and down from the ground as easy as I used to. I went to the front desk and told them this was not going to work for me. They informed me that all queen suites had murphy beds. The mattress in my motor home is much better than this mattress. We were in the room for about 15 minutes. I asked for a refund and was told that since it was booked through a 3rd party site their was nothing they could do. I double-checked their website, and it does not say suites had murphy beds. If it did, we would have never booked the room. There are pictures of standard queen size beds on it. It does also shows a picture of a folded up murphy bed but no mention of it being in all queen suites. We left there and found another room, and booked it. Don't try to pass off a murphy bed with a cheap, thin mattress as a queen suite. That's dishonest.

I always enjoy my relaxing trips to this property. If you like to swim then the 9 pools will suit you well.

Stayed here for a week while on vacation in Palm Springs. Resort is beautiful! So much to do here- 9 pools, 8 jacuzzis, tennis courts, bocce ball & pickle ball! There are also 2 complimentary bikes in each unit, electric bbq grill in each unit, washer, dryer & a garage! The resort is pretty big, so you'll get plenty of exercise by walking or riding your bike the whole loop. The "cons" - that you're not allowed to set the thermostat to lower than 72 degrees, otherwise you'll be held financially responsible if the a/c "freezes and need repair". 72 was comfortable, but I run hot, so I like being in an igloo. There isn't a lot of privacy in the back patio. The cement walls are waist high and has an opening so anyone can walk into your patio.

Our "villa" was infested with roaches. This was our 3rd time staying here and the other visits were great, but this last experience over Memorial Day weekend was terrible. When we first checked in I found a huge dead bug under the sink but didn't think much of it. Two days later I'm putting my 2 year old to bed and a huge roach comes running across the bed. I killed it with a childrens book and then put my flashlight on to search the bedroom. There were FOUR dead roaches in the bedroom alone, and another dead one in the living room. Next morning my husband is standing in the kitchen and felt a tickle on his foot. He looked down to see a roach on his foot and another huge roach crawling by the wall. When we checked out that morning I told the front desk what happened and the woman's response was "I'm sorry, we will tell maintenance to spray the room." No offer to make things better, no shock or profuse apology, which makes me think they know there's rooms with roach problems and they rented them out anyway. On top of this the walls are so thin. We were kept awake by the people above us and the people staying right next to us were really rude and loud and yelled late at night. Here are some fun pics of the roaches in our room

Let me start off by saying this is a beautiful resort! Cons: Condo wasn't ready, we got there at 4:30pm and didn't get checked in until 6pm. One lady complained about waiting 2 hours. They do not give you new towels, so bring your own laundry detergent to wash them. The electric grill they provide only heats up to 200 degrees, so it took forever to cook our food for the 4th of July. Pros: Plenty of pools & spas to choose from. They give you an option to use the complementary bikes located in the car garage. Which we end up not using. The temperature in the condos are set to 72 degrees which was good for me and family. If your looking for a lower temperature good luck because you can not change it. It's cool to plenty of eating spots and grocery stores. We went to the Morongo Casino which is about a 15-20 drive. The front staff called us to check to see how our stay was going, very nice of them. Overall I had lots of fun & will booked a trip here again.

I never saw a resort being so well equipped like this! They had EVERYTHING for make you feel home: kitchen appliances, dishwasher,WASHER AND DRIER INSIDE OF OUR UNIT,silverwear, plates, cups and glasses, coffee, even cooking pans and hand mixers.I was shocked! Plus they provided a closed, personal garage, and 2 bikes as well. 8 pools, tennis courts, nice seating areas. Best vacation home ever!Especially for ONLY 217$ for 2 night for 2 people! You can't beat this!

Given the value of this item, that response is not sufficient. A property at this level should have a clear, documented lost-and-found process with accountability, rather than relying on informal follow-up. We paid over $600 for a one-night stay. The level of urgency and communication so far does not reflect the seriousness of the situation. We let the water run for 30 mins and that seemed to help. We are also incredibly disappointed with our recent experience at the pool. The staff seemed inattentive and overwhelmed, which made us feel completely neglected. The physical condition of the gazebo was awful. The privacy buckles were broken, and the space was downright filthy. For the price being charged, basic upkeep and cleanliness should be a bare minimum. I was a little scared when I read that most of the recent reviews were negative. I was thinking "oh no! What did I get us into." This place is a blast from the past. The decor is that of a mid century modern and is a really cozy quadrangle set up. The interior feels homey and the property is set up like an air bnb with shared amenities. They play 1950s music all day on speakers throughout the complex, it creates that vintage feel but can get repetitive after a few days. Lounge with tables, board games, travel brochures, couches, fire place, coffee and tea, and industrial kitchen for use during your stay. (Old reviews mention happy hour, breakfast, snacks, etc. these are no longer offered but why not just bring your own?) Each room has microwave and mini fridge. Outdoor gas fire pit for use. The pool is small but has a deep end 8ft which is nice. There are pool noodles and some tubes to use. The hot tub is spacious and powerful jets. We stayed in the Hawaiian surf room, loved the theme it was so cute and felt like a tropical getaway. The shower is small but functional. Good AC unit with a remote control and ceiling fan. Surfboard coffee table and wicker love seat add to the tropical feel. Overall this was a nice private getaway. You can be left alone to relax! If you need anything you can text the hotel and someone replies super quick in my experience. The hotel feels very secure with codes needed to enter the complex and security cameras at the entrance and surrounding the complex. (Probably for management to check and make sure everything is running smoothly). I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I have stayed at a few different boutique hotels in the area. This would be a top choice! Please realize this is an older complex and it does show some wear and tear but come on the building is probably 100 years old or somewhere close to that. If you are expecting a sterile, high end, resort feel for your stay this is not your place... but otherwise this is a great choice! I couldn't help but feel bad for the owners with all of the really bad reviews on here because that was truly not my experience. I left off one star because there are definitely areas of improvement that could be made but not enough to ruin my experience.

The first day we got to the pool around 3 and finding chairs in the shade next to each other was easy. The next day was a different story. We also noticed the pool looks great in the early part of the day but by the late afternoon the pool is murky. I get it, that's going to happen when there's that many people using the pool but still. this is a small property, i think it has a max of 30 guests (bc the breakfast host told me, the…read moresausage - and i do mean sausage - has to last for 30 people when i asked if he could load me up, since it was my protein for the day!). anyway - it is def smaller than the sister resorts of this company (or actually maybe same size'ish as twin palms, but def smaller than santiago). my first time here. certainly great, relaxed vibe. the canteen here is great. good variety. great coffee machine with actually, very good starbucks deep roast coffee and i never buy starbucks but was impressed and it was delicious. this has a shower, and bathroom area, off the side of the pool which is super convenient instead of trudging back to your room. there is an endless supply of lounge towels. the pool is a decent size. the hot tub is super hot - talk about man soup! but invigorating in a weird way if you want to be boiled. overall vibe very relaxed, chill, friendly if you make the effort to chat. some people just want to chil with a book and headphones and that's fine. very mixed crowd this weekend. like 4 very lean tall hunky dudes -- spoke to 2, very nice, chill, seemed non-judgey. and also a friendly older crowd - everyone with a life story to tell. i love people watching and chilling and talking. be nice, and everyone will be nice back! they have parking in front but i think more rooms than guest spots parking. 2 electric vehicle spots. idk where the overflow parking goes prob just down the street! full big ralphs grocery store only a mile away in a mall with starbucks and dominoes and sushi in the desert too (must be interesting!). this place has a 5-7pm happy hour with good wines that'll get you smiling and going! (oddly, santiago sister property does not have happy hour. i am pretty sure second sister property twin palms does!) tbh i DO prefer santriago a bit more (bigger grounds, more greenery, more breathtaking views in every direction). but i met many people here who said no this is the better place, more intimate. cozier. less overwhelming. what i can say is - you WILL have a great refreshing time here, one way of the other. take in the air, the desert warmth, the amenities, the comfort, the people. so much to enjoy. if you come to relax and rest, you will be happy you did.
