I am extremely unhappy with the service I received here. Or, I should say, the complete LACK of service. Alex and Lee were kind over the phone when I called in about CCM being a certified repair shop to submit insurance claims through Silver Rock (via Carvana). The first time I brought my car in, they said it would take 2-3 business days to hear back from the insurance company. I had not heard back from them for a week. Every time I would call or text to ask for an update, there would be no answer/no reply. Finally I got through to them and Alex said I needed to bring the car in again because there was an issue with the odometer photograph (which by the way was a lie). I brought the car in again and we did the entire onboarding process again. After two weeks, I again heard NOTHING from them. Finally I call silver rock to ask about the claim and they confirmed that CCM never even submitted my claim or contacted them in the first place! Now, my claim has been denied by the insurance company (I used a different body shop this time) due to it being above the mileage typical for the type of repairs I am asking for. Of course I've been driving the car over the past FOUR WEEKS (!!!) that CCM has been jerking me around. I fully believe the denied claim is due to them dragging their feet and being dishonest with me. read more

I admit I haven't been to their new garage since they moved. My past experiences with them have always been good. Carl and Alex have always been upfront with my repairs. I have sent people who were looking for a quick buy to see if they have a car available. She was looking for. Jeep or suv. I don't think they sell those but I got a nice used car from them. In fact when the time came to get rid of it. They took the car off my hands for me. If I ever get a used car again I will go back to them. They were always fast with the work. So I need a CARCO photo inspection for my car. There are two places in Port Chester who do them. I called the first place; some guy told me they start doing them at 11.00AM. I get there at 10.45AM(traffic was lite). I park in front of the place and walk up to they guy standing outside telling him what I want. He has major attitude about parking in front of his business and tells me I have to wait at least 15 minutes; obviously he couldn't care less. So I decided to look for CCM Auto Repair the second place who does CARCO inspections. They are only 5 minutes apart. Once I find the place... its all the way in the back of the driveway I meet Danny and I tell him what I need. He gets working on my CARCO inspection immediately NO ATTITUDE and very HELPFUL. But it doesn't end there... As my car is also due for a NY state inspection and needs an oil change he gets all that done too. So I got 3 things done on one visit without an appointment and without an attitude; the best part all three things took just about an hour. As I usually do not have much time I don't do to many Yelp reviews but this great level of customer service deserves recognition so I am taking the time to give them 5 stars today... and I know where I be going when my car needs something... read more

Wanted an oil change done, and set an appointment for 12:00pm. Left my car there and went to grab lunch. Got a call back an hour later saying they were having issues opening my hood. They finally opened the hood and had the oil change done by 2:00. When I went to look at my bill I was charged $150.00! With an additional charge of $65 to open my hood?! They told me my hood latch was broken, but as soon as I returned home I opened and closed my hood twice with no issues. I payed double what I should have and had to wait for 2 hours to get a simple oil change. I would not recommend this place at all unless you're having more serious work done on your vehicle. These guys are wonderful! We were up in Rye getting our marriage license when my car's caliper seized up completely at 4:30 PM on a Friday. They were able to get us in, repaired the issue with time to spare the next day when they could get parts, and were even so kind as to drive us to a nearby cafe so we could figure out transportation in a safe environment. We had car trouble on a rainy day on a trip into the city, and stopped at the closest auto shop, which happened to be CCM. They were incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. Obviously we did not have an appointment, but they assured us they could accommodate if we were willing to wait a little while. They quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed our car in under 2 hours, and got us back on the road, at a very agreeable price. The staff clearly explained the problem and gave us some friendly advice for how to avoid it going forward, and on what related maintenance we could expect to need on this component in the future. While we were waiting, at least a half dozen other customers came by, picking up or dropping off vehicles, and everyone seemed to know the staff. I can imagine why. They treated us so well, even though we were unscheduled random customers who would likely never be back; I can only imagine how good they must be for their regulars. When I inquired about the price of a service they sent me an itemized quote which included line items for parts and labor. Pretty rude. Called to get a quote on repairing the touchscreen on my car. Guy said I'd have to bring it in it to be hooked up to a computer for a 60 dollar diagnostic. I told him the diagnostic is for engine problems and that's not the problem. He rudely responded that if I knew what the problem was then I could fix it myself.
