While I recognize mileage may vary, I have been using this shop for years with no complaints. They are responsive, honest, and do a good job quickly. Everything they have done has held up. have never felt gouged, or pressured to do unnecessary work. Instead I know Incan trust the shop and feel the prices completely reasonable for the quality work they do. If any repair must be done, Al is great at explaining things and going over options. Their service is Excellent! A+++ I normally don't write reviews, but my car needed serious maintenance...it was overheatInc. I took it to a Ford dealer in Scarsdale. it was about 13:15; and they told me, just to do a diagnosis, it would cost nearly $200!! Also, my vehicle would have to stay there. So, I took it to another dealer, who told me it would be a week until they would repair my car. So, I was referred to by a friend to take it to Ro-Ro Automotive. One of the mechanics did not hesitate and took my vehicle right away, due to the problem. He told me afterwards what I needed, ordered the part, which took an hour to arrive and installed it right away. The cost $252. Wow!! Impressive customer concern and excellent service!! I have both CarFax & AutoCheck (Experian) reports that are now corrupt because of this shop. I discovered today that they have been entering my VIN number into their system erroneously for nearly 10 years causing all kinds of mileage discrepancies and incorrect service listings on the reports which I am trying to get corrected with both agencies. For this alone, the shop should not be considered a valid or trustworthy place of business for any automotive service needs. I brought my car here several times for a check engine light repair. However, it was never repaired. I brought my car here 4 times and kept being told something else needs to be repaired. On the 4th time, I spoke to the owner, VINNY, and he ignored the fact that I brought my car here several times, and continued to take my car in for a whole weekend, when I was finally contacted about my car, it was not from VINNY, one of the other mechanics and I was told I had to spend ANOTHER 800$ on a whole DIFFERENT part for the SAME PROBLEM. When I showed up to discuss the problem, the owner VINNY proceeded to tell me that there was nothing to be done and if I had an attitude he wouldn't fix anything. My advice, if you are a person of color, like myself, DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. They will rob you and lie to your face. read more

From the other reviews, they must have a loyal following. My experience however was quite different. Terrible service all around. I used them a few times in the past years for small stuff, alignment, inspection etc. and was often disappointed with their quality of services, but more importantly with their customer care. I continued using them out of convenience for their location. But this time they exceeded their measure. These guys plainly do not care about their customers and there is a sense that they cater primarily to station parking people, who choose them out of convenience for their location. Not this time around. After their rude, impatient, excusable short temper and abrasive attitude, I took my care and gave a try to their competitors not far away. What a world of difference. Not only they completed their work timely, and way less expensive, but they also sent me a customer review form asking if they can improve their service. Please take your time to review your option before falling for Ro-ro. FAIL FAIL FAIL. read more

Came here after reading the other 5 Star reviews and decided to go with gut feeling because I felt Ro-Ro Auto was an honest establishment, besides I was tired of paying dealership pricing $$$$ every time I need work done on my 2007 Subura Forester that has just reached 100,000 miles and still running strong, but now needs work done. My car needed a new plastic Undercarriage Guard because the one I had ripped after going over a pipe when crossing over the Tappen Zee Bridge. I did call the Subura Service Dept first and they said the part could cost over $200 without labor, but they could not give me a definite answer, so that's when I decided to bring my car to Ro-Ro Auto instead for an estimate and I am happy I did. :) The owner Vinnie is very professional, honest and he does not try to oversell you on services that are not needed plus I thought his overall pricing was fair. Honestly, I just get a good vibe about this place, and plan on bringing my car here from now on for servicing. read more
