We are very happy with the service I received there. I walk in to pick up cleaning and they call me by my name, that started after my second visit there. The cleaning has has been perfect and laundry has been cleaned and pressed. I get my things back within 24 hours after dropping them off. Absolute best prices I've seen around by a lot. After hours drop off box is perfect and very handy. This is the place I go to. It was the third cleaners in the area that I tried when I first moved here.. This a great place to take your dry cleaning. The staff is very friendly and very competent. In particular I want to give a shout out to Kareme. She is amazing-she probably sees 500 people in a day and yet she knows my name and brings up my account from memory-- she is always upbeat and cheery. One day she saw my car and started picking my order before I even got into the store. I recently saw a sign in the store that said they were number 1 out of 40 something stores--no surprise to me. They even send you a text when your clothes are ready. If you bring your cleaning in before 7am (I think) they will have it done by 5pm- Otherwise it's next day. And last, but not least, are their prices which I think you will be very happy with. read more

I should've stopped coming here when I noticed dress pants from banana republic were damaged and they claim it came in like that. Matter of the fact is, I have never worn the pants prior to taking to cleaners, they were brand new, expensive and w/out damage. Owner or manager was rude when I took pants back. I had stopped going for a while. Fast forward a year later, I had my husband drop off of Coach Shearling coat (worth over $800) and we never received the pick up or ready notification.. and we forgot about the coat. Shame on us, but why did we not get a notification? In busy life, we run off reminders. My question is.. do they intentionally NOT send reminders for high priced items, in hopes you'd forget so they can keeps it? Disgusted with this cleaners. I really wish we would have more cleaners near by for options. Consumers! So, 4 months after getting my zipper replaced, it's already beginning to fall off, beginning at the bottom. I was thinking, if the storefront ships the clothes out to another place to get everything done, then isn't the place they ship it to the real business? Because they actually do the work, which isn't good work. Bc if the storefront is the real business, then why do they continue to ship out to a company that does bad work? Horrible experience dropped 5 brand new shirts 3 out of 5 not properly ironed. Returned for being redone. Picked ip next day one shirt stained. Owner takes no responsibility for damage whatsoever telling he doesn't micromanage the garment he clean in his store. $200 brand new shirt wasted so this is what you get out of this place. Incident date: 12/13/2018 Mind you this review is based on how i was treated badly after being their customer for 5 years now. I dropped off my winter coat on 12/12 for dry cleaning. I picked the same evening and today 12/13/2018 when i checked the coat after removing the hangers and tag as I was rushing to work i found they did a very sloppy job on the pressing part. I walked into the store around 8:30am and the Manager (forgot to note his name) attended me. I described him what i feel is a sloppy job done on the coat and asked him to refund the money as I wanted to go some place else. Right away his demeanor changed and the first thing he said "This is like a car wash, we dont refund money" in a classic thug style! Kudos to you Manager. I think hes living under a rock. He said its not CD one cleaners policy to either refund or even credit the money to my cd one account so i could use it for future. I told him its not correct because in the past they have given me credit if something wasnt done right. He looked into my account and said we cant do that because 1) I didnt bring the original hangers 2) The coat didnt have the original tag He also said "how do i know that it is the same coat" and when i said look in your system, his reply was dont worry about the system. So let me say this to CD one cleaners then why do you have POS terminals (which is system of record) if your own manager is dis-regarding them? After this i got very upset and used some unwarranted language which i am also not happy about and I apologize for that. Still this doesnt prove the manager is right. The manager needs some serious customer service skills to calm the situation. Oh yes, icing on the cake he asked me to get out of the store or otherwise he will call the cops. Seriously dude for $3.97 you will call the cops and indirectly accuse me of lying but you arent worried that you will loose a long time customer? I guess not. Also, i tried to lookup cd one cleaners policy, nowhere i could find on their website the fine print read to me by the wonderful manager. I totally forgot to ask him to show me the policy, probably he would have said dont worry about it. There are many small operations out there that will do the job right to keep your business, but not CD one cleaners (hanover park branch) since it is a 500 fortune company who doesn't care about the quality they deliver because they have you by the collar to kick you out of their store. read more

This is my son's suit for his first communion tomorrow. When I complained to manager Carlos and showed him how dirty the suit was still when I picked it up, he told me that I should have showed this to them. As a customer I shouldn't have to let them know where the dirt is at. It is their job to clean whether it's visible to the eye or not. As a customer, I expect it clean 100%. Well I would give them less than one star but I can't. I took 4 suits 5 pairs of slacks 3 jackets and 10 ties to them and I cleaned out my closet and donated to them a green bag full of suits and ties. When I came to pick up my suits one of my ties that I spent 125 dollars on was torn to shreds. So the owner offered me a new tie. That just happened to be the same tie i donated the day before and then I told him and he said it wasn't the same tie and offered me a 15 dollar credit for my next visit. Stay away there horrible and steal from the underprivileged. read more

I can't lie, they are best deal for your buck. They are not the fanciest cleaners, but they get the job done. And at $2.49 per item, I bring them the basics- dress shirts, dress pants, skirts. I never bring them expensive jerseys or suits, because these things are not items I want to replace. No credit or debit cards accepted, so don't forget your cash!! You pay when you drop off your clothes. I'm not huge fan of this, because what if you ruin my clothes? I just paid you to ruin them. I wish they would rethink this policy. Drop off before 10 am and have your stuff ready by 5 pm. Same day service, people! I have a cleaners closer to home that is way more expensive, but they do a superb job and they are the people I bring my good stuff to get cleaned. read more

This cleaners is fantastic. Hard working and nice employees, efficient, good prices and always well done. My boyfriend uses them all the time and loves them. They also check with you you how you want your shirts and pants done, they don't just assume. They always have everything ready the next day which is super impressive cause they are so busy!!! What we like a lot is that they also have same day service. If you bring in your clothes by 10am, they will have it ready by 5 pm that day!!! They do this everyday which is nice because it allows them to be closed on Sunday to be with their families. We think that is important. Give them a try you won't regret it! read more

What a great staff always very personable even in the heat of the summer when it is 100° inside their building I don't know how they do it. I have asked several times why they do not have air-conditioning and they say that it is broken but I can't understand how it's been broken for all these years. It is very miserable for the customers standing waiting while they get their clothes I can't imagine how it is for the staff that has to work there every day during the summer months. ******DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE***** Having moved to the suburbs and was looking for a reasonably priced cleaners. Overall the quality of services here are average but the location is convenient. Today things changed dramatically. I took a brand new French cuff tuxedo shirt here to be pressed. There was a stain put on it during the process. I took the shirt back to be redone only to be told by the owner the stain was caused by me and it happened because it was a French cuff. The owner said he would pay me something reasonable and offered me $40 I declined since I paid $90 plus tax. I offered to show him proof that I recently bought it and explained I was going on a cruise in several weeks and that is why I purchased it. Sadly he still declined to take the ownership to replace it. All CD Ones are not created equal :( When I was living in Naperville we had a CD One cleaner near our place. They would carefully look at your clothes and let you know if there could be issues with your clothing etc. I left Naperville and started going to the CD cleaners near us in Hanover and the quality of work isnt up to par with Naperville :( Ive had one shirt melted (the fabric was different on the side of the shirt) and they didnt warn me that could happen. My boyfriend and I both received our shirts back with rips in the exact same spot. They gave us back his shirt and said they wouldnt dry clean it because it was torn funny thing about that was when we dropped it off it didnt have the rip.....ok I didnt realize my shirt had ripped until days later when I went to put on the shirt. I too have experienced the buttons on my clothes cracking like another Yelper stated. I need to find a better cleaner around the area ughhhhh read more

I also noticed some type of animal hair on my clothes, not sure if they have a local cat that they let in and out of the facility or not. The main owner is a complete dick! I explained some of my concerns to him and he dismissed it made excuses. They are not flexible with hours either, even if it is only 10 minutes past their closing time, their entire crew is still in the building working, all the lights at full blast, and you only need to pick up your pre paid clothes; just forget it, you're SOL. Despite the name, CD One is a dry cleaning chain. The acronym might have stood for cleaning dry or DC One didn't sound as good. Either way, CD One Price Cleaners is where I take all of my dry cleaning and dress shirts. It sounds like a gimmick but you can actually see the savings. It's only $1.29 for laundered shirts and $2.49 for anything dry cleaned. It doesn't matter what the garment is - it'll always be the same price of $2.49. These are huge savings if you are having to dry clean suits and jackets often. In addition to the price, you also get same day service if you drop off your clothing before 10am. You're clothing will be available that same day after 5:00pm. Otherwise, your dry cleaning will be ready the next day after 5:00pm. The price and same/next day service are the two main reasons why CD One has caused a lot of other smaller dry cleaners to shut down. Here are some cons, they are closed on Sundays, pay upfront using cash only, and your shirts may get damaged. For some reason, their machines cause the buttons on dress shirts to crack - specifically on the sleeves. Some of them have simply fallen off. Despite these reasons, I still continue to take my clothing to CD One. You simply can't beat these prices and quick service. read more

At $1.99 per item, no matter what the item, this cleaners ends up being less than 1/2 the cost of most other cleaners, where a lot of items cost $4.99 or more to dry clean. You pay when you drop off, and lost or damaged item replacement cost is limited to $50. Although I've never had a problem with anything being lost or damaged, I take any really expensive item like special occasion dresses to another cleaner to be safe. read more

They accept cash and Visa. I have been bringing our dry cleaning to this location for two or three years with a drop off once and sometimes twice a week. The staff is friendly and you are greeted with a smile. If you drop your dry cleaning off by 10:00 a.m. it will be ready by 5:00 p.m. They have a feature wherein they will email you when the dry cleaning is actually ready to be picked up. A few times, I have received an email at 3:00 p.m. They open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. - these are great hours! They also have free hot coffee in the morning (they provide creamer and sugar). The only negative I have observed is the parking lot. People are in a hurry to get in and get out. read more

I received an email from CD to bring in my laundry for a free cleaning because I am a nurse during the Corona pandemic. I went to the Barrington Rd store, where the clerk informed that they will ruin my permanent press shirts if I leave them, making them wrinkled and ruined when I return. He assured me that the offer was only for specific types of laundry, like sheets, but not shirts. He also told me not to bring in blankets. He basicly told me to get lost, and forget about their free offer for healthcare workers. I used to use them for my cleaning in the past, but never again. read more

Worse management service I had brought in my suits with custom made hangers in and they stole my hangers talked to the manager he said they are not responsible or liable to tell me that I was not going to get my hangers back at time if drop off. They send you a reminder email too to pick up your clothes. First I want to say I personally don't go there but my husband does... why? I don't know but my husband asked me to take his two pair of jeans back up there due to them putting creases in his 2 pair of black jeans. There is a guy there who is very rude. When explained what happen he responded so rudely by telling me you need to make sure to tell us when you drop them off which I thought was very inconsiderate of hm. My husband NEVER get creases in his jeans and it may have been an honest mistake but the guy tone and delivery in his response to me was awful.
