While it is not my emphasis, I do note that they also appear service a rather vibrant coin collecting community as well. And also do appear to deal in antiques and collectibles to an extent. As previously stated, watches are my focus, but if these things are of interest to you. It might be a place to check out. Ample parking is available in the spacious lot of this point strip mall. There are several restaurants nearby if you're looking to get a bite to eat while making your visit here. It is also very near the Upper Arlington library.

I brought in a brand new watch just to have the band adjusted, which is a very simple job and supposedly took only a few minutes. However, when I checked the watch and tried to put it on, the size was correct but the clasp no longer closed properly something that worked perfectly before the adjustment. I came back to the store today, politely and without blaming anyone, just to explain what happened. The response I got was completely unacceptable. The person (owner) didn't even bother to get up from his chair to look at the watch and instead yelled from where he was sitting that I should buy another one because that watch is fake. I calmly explained that I wasn't accusing anyone and that the watch was working perfectly before the adjustment. His response was to repeat, in the same rude tone, that the watch was fake and that I should buy another one. Extremely unprofessional and very disrespectful customer service. I have no idea what kind of people they hire here, but I will never come back not even if it were free and I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. If you value your money, your time, and basic respect, take your watch somewhere else.

Stopped in to this little dinky underwhelming and clearly vintaged and authentic little shop, and took all of five minutes for this older guy with a magnifying glasses headband to get this done. He came out from behind the counter and asked what wrist size I need, told him mine and he said ok give me just a few minutes. He clearly had been doing this his entire life. This guy only charged me like $5 to take a few links out. I expeced to pay at least $20, so this was an awesome surprise. Due to the quick service, the lack of flair and truly honest and sincere work I defffffinitely will be going back here for any future watch needs!!

I understand the sentiment as a matter of practicality - most places that are smaller and more boutique tend to charge boutique prices. Diamond Exchange, to pardon the expression as pun, is a diamond in the rough in that regard. Nearly hidden on Gay St in an old bank building, much of the original charm of the building is left intact, including some elements of the lobby and old offices. Inside are treasures that are unique and individual to your tastes and needs, priced with deliberation and care. The service and individualized care is also something that, quite frankly, I didn't feel I deserved on the modest means I was able to bring to bear. But we found something that fit both my mission as well as my budget. I found something very special for my 10th wedding anniversary. I think it spoke volumes. Not only did Steward and Lesley listen to my horror story of situation but Steward took great care to listen to what I was looking for in a new ring. He paid attention to every detail and even measured a current ring that I was wearing to make sure I liked the feel of the one he was going to design. Steward kept me in the loop every step of the way, from picking out the diamond to drafting the design of the ring. He was absolutely wonderful to work with and I felt like he was just as excited to make my ring as I was to get it! The ring my fiancé proposed with was very unique and Steward diid an amazing job of creating something just as unique and even more beautiful. We are beyond happy with the quality of service and quality of jewelry that we received. The entire process took less than a month and Steward stuck very close to the budget that we had to work with from my first ring. While visiting CDI Diamonds I received incredible, unmatched customer service from Matt and Renee. I walked in with very limited knowledge or experience in purchasing jewelry. They were able to answer my many questions, all while giving excellent explanations and differences in certain pieces of jewelry over others. I left the store after my first visit without purchasing anything. Matt was very confident in telling me to shop around and come back whenever I'm ready. I came back several days later after shopping around, and none of the other jewelry stores could match the customer service, personalized attention, and prices that CDI were able to provide to me. They may not have big flashy retail buildings all over town, nor will you see any television commercials advertising their company, but they certainly blow all of the other stores out of the water when it comes to the important things when purchasing jewelry. read more

Our family has had a long history with CDI, since they were in the Hilliard area. My sister-in-law first introduced us to the fine staff and their incredible selection of fine jewelry. My son-in-law purchased my daughter's engagement and wedding bands from CDI in 2007 and the care the continued service has been wonderful. I love their new location and the selection of items on display. I also like the ability to take in other pieces for them to redesign a new piece of jewelry, with a new history.
