Not only was I told that the ring I purchased could not be returned but diamond cellar refused to even help or suggest any ideas for ways to sell it on consignment. And they refused to sell their ring on consignment because it was made of lab grown diamonds. Diamond cellar sells lab grown diamonds and they claim there is an after market for. Just like if you purchase a car, it loses some of its value after you drive off the lot, but in this case imagine that the ring we purchased has a zero value the minute we purchased. They surely know how profusely apologize for offering "nothing we can do" but they clearly don't stand behind the product they sell. They seem more than happy to leave their customers without any help or options as we are sent on our way with a, "sorry, there is nothing we can do." I asked for some escalation to management but its been over a month and no call or contact made by staff. Royalty engagement ring with the matching wedding band and a high quality lab grown alexandrite as the center stone. It's not much, but I'm glad Star Jewelers didn't get my 6K worth of business for the day. The jeweler at Polaris was much more receptive and spent a lot of time with us to go through possible rings we'd liked and helped us to see what our desired ring design would look like on our fingers even though they also didn't stock the specific ring from Gabriel & Co.

He came out from behind the counter and asked what wrist size I need, told him mine and he said ok give me just a few minutes. He clearly had been doing this his entire life. This guy only charged me like $5 to take a few links out. I expeced to pay at least $20, so this was an awesome surprise. Due to the quick service, the lack of flair and truly honest and sincere work I defffffinitely will be going back here for any future watch needs!!
