They had a nice selection of pies, sweet and/or savory to choose from, I got the burger pie and while I wanted the quad berry pie it was sold-out and so I went with the PB and J pie instead. They tell u up front it will likely take around 20 minutes for ur order. I looked thru their window to see them trimming the fresh dough off my pies and brushing on the egg wash to make that gorgeous colored crust. 20 minutes later I had 2 fantastic tasting pies in my hand! Both were excellent and surprisingly filling. Def going to get their chicken version next time and hopefully they'll have the quad berry available. It wouldn't survive a month in NYC, the place they claim their pizza to replicate. The sauce was bland and pasty. The crust was under cooked and lacked that yeasty taste that a good dough always has. I wouldn't doubt that the cheese comes pre-shredded from the distributor. I believe there's hope though. They need to sweeten up the sauce. Yep some added sugar would go a long way. They need to toss the conveyor oven and invest in a gas fired brick oven. Places like Papa John's and Domino's use conveyor ovens, so you do the math. An oven fired up over 700° is key to producing a great tasting pizza. I want this business to thrive, not just survive. It's possible with just a few simple tweaks.
