I am a bit of a wing connoisseur. I have eaten some of the best (and worst) wings areas have to offer. I have eaten them in Boston, Milwaukee, Denver, Boulder, Portland, Chicago and yes, even in Buffalo and these are some of the best I have had. They take a little longer than most places to fry, but it is well worth it. I always order extra crispy and usually extra hot, but something keeps drawing me to the house sauce. To make sure I get a full spectrum of flavors I usual also order some extra hot buffalo flavored to go along. They come out spiced nicely, with a generous amount of sauce. My one complaint would be to get some fresh blue cheese, celery and carrots, but again those are just to give your mouth a curveball in flavoring. Don't go in to the store to eat (sort of depressing, with an old tv watching some sporting events and your basic tables), just order and pick up and enjoy some of the most delicious wings. read more

Been going here for years and years, referred all of my coworkers and still love this awesomeness. Went 3 times in 5 days a couple weeks ago. I'm am addict for their wings and this is my favorite restaurant in the area. I love all their flavors but I've been on an x-hot and chipotle ranch kick lately. Chipotle ranch has been a flavor of the month twice this year but it should be a permanent flavor. They're always on point and I haven't had a bad experience once in my many years of visiting. A great place for chicken wings. I love wings, and this place did not disappoint. Based off of reviews I decided to swing on in; great decision! They offer really nice lunch specials and they specialize in all kinds of fried foods. The sauce list in long, so I'm sure that you will be able to find a flavor/heat that works best for you. The wings are awesome. I asked for my wings extra-crispy and the cook made them perfect. Crunchy exterior with a nice tug to the meat. The Hot sauce was tangy, but not too hot. Amazing! We always go to Buffalo Wild Wings because its close. CD's Wings was pretty close to home, but the food was phenomenal. A no bull kind of place. A few tables, cold beer, and a great wings. The staff was overly friendly and the open kitchen allows you to see the handling of the food (very sanitary). The wings were the BEST i've ever had. Honestly these are the best wings I've ever had. I took one of my employees here for his birthday and we tried 30 wings with 3 different flavors (House, Garlic Parmesan, and Honey Bee). We stumbled upon this place by accident and to be honest, neither my wife nor I will ever go anywhere else! CD's has ruined every other wing place for me--every sauce/rub is great, the wings are meaty and perfectly crispy, and the menu is simple but always ends up being exactly what we need. We live in Highlands Ranch so it is a longer drive to get there, but it's always worth it (it's an addiction and we go once a week now). We've gotten all our friends addicted too! I seen the reviews online and decided to check out CD Wings. Its not that big inside with about 10 tables for seating. I ordered hot wings, waffle fries and pepsi. I ate there and it was not crowded. There was a 10 to 15min wait cause they make it on the spot. They have 1 tv to watch while you wait for your wings. Wings were hot, medium size, crispy, cooked just right and smothered in a pool of the wing sauce. The wafffle fries were well seasoned and if you want extra cup of ranch for your "veggies" it 50 cents for each additional cup. Veggies (celery & carrots).. I was the only one left eating and the staff started cleaning tables and windows and refilling napkins etc.... I will definitely return and try the other flavors of wings. We got 20 medium wings to go and waffle fries. The flavor was very good, chicken was moist. And I loved that they bagged up celery and carrots with ranch. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough sauce, but I'm sure if we had asked for them extra wet they would have put more :-) awesome Denver sports mural on the wall too! I think every time we are craving wings, this is our go to place. Would definitely recommend over somewhere like Bdubs if you have the option. It's located in a little shopping center, so it can be easily missed if driving by. Their wings are always crispy on the outside and nice and juicy on the inside, and not over doused in sauce (or too dry for that matter). They do an awesome deal on Wednesday's - 30 wings for $22 and this is typically when we order. They do get way busier on Wednesday, so it is better to call in your order than walk in. From the time I call to the time I pick my wings up is usually about 20 minutes or so. Their service is quick, pleasant, and the food is darn tasty. They also have a ton of different sides, chicken nuggets, fish and chips, so whatever fried food your heart desires, they pretty much have you set. We love CD's wings. Our favorite is the traditional mild sauce with garlic and parmesan. We also like their house barbecue and the mango habanero. Delicious! We found ourselves in Westminster and hungry so we yelped a restaurant nearby. CD's Wings was listed, highly reviewed and since we love wings we thought why not. So happy with our decision, the wings are the best we've had in Denver. We were fortunate to meet Digger, one of the owners. Digger was so polite and checked back after our food came to make sure everything was alright. The restaurant is clean, so are the restrooms which is a huge plus. I ordered hot, xxhot and xxxhot! XXXHOT is not the hottest sauce they had but it was definitely spicy. I was completely satisfied. The sauces had very bold flavors and I would probably say they have the best sauces I've ever had. On the downside the wings themselves were a little on the smaller side. They have a small dining area. The two guys working were nice enough but forgot my veggies and dip. I've been to CD's a few times now over the course of 3 years or so, and I always leave feeling disappointed. I know I know, oh so many awesome reviews, but we're all entitled to our own opinions, right? For me the disappointment comes down to the sauce flavors. I've tried at least 3 of their buffalo style sauces, their Unlce Nasty's Sauce, spicy BBQ, spicy teriyaki, and spicy garlic, and I have yet to fall in love with any of them. They're all ok, bordering on no thank you. I have no idea what it is about them, I just don't like the flavor. The buffalo style sauces seem to be missing something, the Spicy BBQ has a odd aftertaste, the spicy teriyaki has TOO much of a soy flavor, and the spicy garlic is just one of their buffalo sauces mixed with extra garlic maybe? Also, this place is a bit on the pricey side. I got their Wed Special today which is 30 wings for $21 and left paying about $26. I asked for 3 different flavors (if you want more than 1 flavor they charge you $0.75 per extra flavor), extra crunchy, and saucy. The wings came swiiiiiimming in sauce, which was fine, except I got them to go and the they were not packages very well, so sauce absolutely everywhere, all over the containers and leaking through the bag. Luckily they double bagged my order so it didn't get ugly until I opened the inside bag. Also I only got 1 small container of blue cheese for 30 wings. Come on guys... The wings themselves came extra crispy, just as asked for, so that was good. They do have a new sauce flavor I may try...something about a Samurai... I like supporting local small businesses, so I really wanted to like this place, but I just can't find a sauce flavor I like! If you can fall for one of their sauces, I say try it, otherwise, keep stepping. read more
