    Semifreddo dessert
    Amanda P.

I had great memories of my last visit to Wildflower while in Denver a few years ago, so I was looking forward to visiting again. If there is one thing I could say, it is that it is consistently so very good. Wow. I had such an amazing meal. We started with the focaccia, which was warm and savory and sweet. The plum salad - this was reminiscent of a caprese salad for me but so creative with interesting flavors I'd never consider together. So glad we tried it as it was a great intro of what was to come. Next, we had the tortellini which was creamy yet the lemon with spring fava made it bright and refreshing and new. I had the trout as an entree - it was not only cooked perfectly but the Adobe sauce that accompanied it was surprising, smoky, and so yummy. My friend loved the Wagyu steak. The semifreddo dessert was the perfect finish - cool, creamy, just the right amount of sweet, and textured. Service was spot on. Staff were knowledgeable about all of the dishes, super friendly and, like the food, very approachable. The atmosphere is moody, refined, delicate yet cozy - think warm dark colors, comfy seating, nice finishes, floral designs. This place is not stuffy despite its recognition. Overall I absolutely loved my experience, again. I don't usually play favorites but I think Wildflower is my favorite restaurant. It gets everything right for me. There is nothing I could have wished to be different!

It took me so long to write this review because the words to describe the experience my partner and I had here simply couldn't be processed on short notice. Let me start off by saying this is officially my girlfriend and my favorite new restaurant in Colorado -- and that's not something taken lightly. Wildflower perfectly balances the regions of Northern and Southern Italy with Spanish undertones throughout every dish, all while being prepared, presented, and served in a very classically French manner. Not a single bite we had was lacking anything. Every layer of flavor, every texture, every smell perfectly played on your palate like a maestro constructing a symphony. Our server Jackie did an amazing job timing and pairing courses in a way that never felt rushed or overbearing. She has a wonderful personality and is incredibly knowledgeable. It is very obvious to me (as someone who worked in the industry for 13+ years) that this isn't just a job for her, but a chance to express herself through great service and passion. I cannot -- and I mean CANNOT -- recommend this restaurant enough. I am already planning our next visit and I can't wait. Book a reservation now so you can brag about going here before they get their Michelin star. P.S. The honey semifreddo dessert and the cocktail "The Choice Society" are an unmatched combination.

This restaurant blew my proverbial socks off. I had tonight one of the best meals I have ever had in Denver. We decided on the large bouquet at $96 person (an absolute steal for a top tier tasting menu). Our server, Zach was a delight and really listened to our preferences to get our bouquet customized to us. What followed was a spread of sauce filled delights. From artichoke and lemon tortellini, a stone fruit salad that tasted like Spring on a plate to a Grilled Octopus with Kalamata risotto to wagyu you could cut with a fork...everything was fantastic. BRAVO!!!

The gimme thyme cocktail. Small-ish but lovely flavor!

Wildflower is gorgeous. Love that it's on a street where you can park free (most spots), and it's a super nice place but with a very unassuming outdoor appearance. The service is great, the hostess and waiters were all very cordial. The facilities are gorgeous too (ie lovely bathrooms!). It certainly has an upscale vibe without being overly fancy. Re: the menu - the flavors are gorgeous. For whatever reason the menu did feel a bit short to me but I still LOVED what I had which included their focaccia appetizer (AMAZING spreads with that one), and the handmade gnocchi. I also had a cocktail, and a glass of mead - both were super smooth, especially the mead (I love a sweeter drink). Overall I was quite happy with my experience here! I felt like it was absolutely worth the visit. Only thing I was sad about is that they'd run out of the plum Sakura mead - I LOVE floral and sweeter drinks and it sounded right up my alley! I would go back literally just to try that drink later

Focaccia 4 Piece (they have 2 sizes - 2 or 4 pieces per order) with dipping oil, whipped Gorgonzola, and garlic spread.

Wow, where do I begin? What a great dining experience! Love the decor and the vintage vibe upon walking in. We were here celebrating our wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed our time here. Shaun was amazing with the recommendations, the service, and just the overall fun personality to guide us through our dinner. We really love octopus and would always order it if it's on the menu. I've never had an octopus done the way Wildflower did. So tender, so flavorful, sliced thin but still robust with flavor. The focaccia was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, so yummy with all the dips but my favorite was the bay leaf oil with the garlic chutney. We shared everything and the 7x Wagyu Picanha was delicious with Huitlacoche (a corn bread of sort). The Alaskan Black Cod was so tender - we love the turmeric sauce with the trout roe. Shaun recommended to pair the Croquetas de la Patata with the Wagyu, chef's kiss on that recommendation. Normally not a dessert person but the Honey Semifreddo was delicious, basically honey 4 ways, with the soft gelato like honey ice cream, honey toasted oat, honey brittle and the honey drizzle. Everything was delightful and so were the beverages. We tried the Flor de Azafran, the NA - Energia Positiva and the Padre Pio... def an experience we won't forget. Thanks Shaun and team for the great experience at Wildflower for our wedding anniversary!

An incredible dining experience. The tasting menu with wine pairing was expertly crafted. Each dish was absolutely sensational. Favorites included the scallop crudo, celery root soup, pork belly and wagyu picanha to name a few! Our server Zack was knowledgeable, attentive, witty and just generally enhanced our overall experience. We were part of a large group and loved the personalization, ambiance and everything about this wonderful restaurant. Shout out to Lindsey their manager who helped make for an unforgettable experience! 10/10

Our experience at Wildflower was nothing short of Michelin-level. The service was impeccable from start to finish, and trusting our incredible server, Jaki, to curate our tasting menu turned out to be the best decision of the evening. Each dish was prepared with extraordinary care and intention. The menu showcased thoughtful risk-taking and intriguing flavor combinations that felt both innovative and harmonious. Every course was exciting, beautifully executed, and absolutely delicious. A dining experience that kept us engaged and delighted from the first bite to the last. Not to mention the beautiful table space and we sat right by the window it was simply perfect! Can't wait to visit again!

Delicious! Enjoyed the bouquet. Our waitress surprised us with most dishes. They were all so great! The whole experience was fantastic! Definitely recommend!!

Beyond excellent!! A little neighborhood gem tucked away In a quiet neighborhood. It's the perfect balance of casual and special occasion. The tasting menus are served in "bouquet" sizes, so you choose between a small tasting or a large tasting or à la carte dining. The dishes were beyond spectacular and the price for the amount of food you get is amazing. We were SO full in the best way. The dishes look like art and taste equally as good! The servers were attentive and kind and wonderful!

I have heard such great things about wildflower and it has been on my list to visit for a while. It was such a great experience I give everything a 10/10. The service was great, every time the food was brought out they would explain each dish. The space was small which gave it a more intimate vibe. I came here with a couple of friends and we shared quite a few dishes. The focaccia is a must crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The wagyu and duck were by the far the star of the show. Both cooked perfectly with so much flavor! We couldn't skip out on the honey comb dessert. Such great texture and very light! This place is a great treat for a celebration or just for a girls night out! I will be coming back!

Celebrated our anniversary 2 years in a row here! This year we brought our 2 older teens who appreciate a great dining experience! We did the chefs tasting menu and left stuffed. Each course is hand crafted so beautifully and uniquely. I think my favorite was the crab tartlet and the octopus. Everything from tart to finish was delicious. And the waiters are top notch- so on top of everything. Our plates were changed out 7 times, but it's not stuffy here or pretentious, just great service. Can't wait to go here again

Located inside the Lower Highlands' Life House Hotel, Wildflower gave me one of my best meals ever last year.I originally did the chef's tasting menu (aka The Wildflower Bouquet) and was so impressed I've been telling everyone about it ever since. I went back for happy hour later that year, but this past month was my first time returning for a full dinner. And honestly, more for myself than anyone else, I'm thrilled to say it was just as good if not better. The decor is intimate and welcoming. Interesting without being gimmicky. The service? Outstanding. From the welcome bite to the second we were greeted by the amazing hostess, everyone was warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. It's a well-oiled machine with a vibe that feels effortless. I genuinely tried to find something to critique and if I had to say anything, it's that I wish I could eat here every day. Without a doubt, Wildflower is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Easily top five. What we ordered: Scallop Crudo: Kiwi, Avocado Aguachile, Plantain, Macadamia Nut Wildflower Focaccia: Rosemary, Preserved Tomato, Herbs, Whipped Garlic Grilled Artichokes: White Bean, Grapes, Fennel, Castelvetrano Tapenade Spanish Octopus: Oregano Emulsion, Farro Verde Arrancini, Fresno Chili, Turnip Croquetas de la Patata: Kohlrabi, Horseradish, Pea Shoots, Spicy Sofrito Moulard Duck: Smoked Apple, Beet Tartare, Yogurt, Pistachio 7X Wagyu Picanha: Huitlacoche, Smoked Tea, Cipollini, Axiote, Salsa Macha Strawberries and Cream: Basil, Pine Nut, Elderflower, Lemon & Thyme Best Bites: Chef Aidan absolutely kills it. My top 3: The Wildflower Focaccia is the best focaccia I've ever had. Probably in my top 3 breads, period. The Strawberries and Cream dessert was so elegant, clever, and refreshing without being overdone. The Duck? WOW. Perfectly crispy skin with sides that elevated the whole dish. Okay, I'm cheating. The Potato Croquettes were a 12/10. No notes. I can't wait to go back. What a freaking great meal. See you there.

What a gastronomic experience with great service! Wildflower is in a residential area of Denver, connected to a hotel, and such a gem. The 3 of us enjoyed 4 small plates, 2 large plates, and 1 dessert among us. The most memorable ones for me were the crudo, duck, and semifreddo. Each plate came out at the perfect time - it wasn't rushed or too slow. The staff worked as a team to take care of each table and describe each dish with impeccable detail.

Bedlam was recommended to us for late night drinks by staff working in one of the restaurants at our hotel. During our short stay in Denver, we went to Bedlam twice. The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

My friends and I tried a number of the signature cocktails and had a few hot toddys that were super good. I'm personally a big gin and soda fan and loved ther housemade tonic that was in their classic G&T. Did not try any of the food but the dawgs were definitely would be tempting if I was hungry. Loved the decor and the plants all up in the space. The space is a bit more dimly lit and I think of a reasonable volume for a date. Would love to come back and spend some more time here.

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

Cozy spot for some classy bites and cocktails. I think I probably got off on the wrong foot when I asked for sparkling water instead of flat and found out it was $7 per personal mini bottle (and they don't have club soda). My first time encountering that in Denver in the last 14 years... The cocktail concept is cool: pick a classic, slightly updated, or super creative version from 5 categories (martini, old fashioned, sour, spritz, highball). The spicy mango sour (with mezcal) was awesome -- although I expected egg white on a sour. The martinis were ok... a bit of a let-down in today's collection of Denver martinis at other local spots (think anchovy, sour cream and onion, holy trinity, and old bay). The food was also hit or miss. We loved the cauliflower/potato Bravas with the slightly spicy sauce, as well as the croquettes and their sauce. The tuna crudo was super bland, which is disappointing for $19.
