We have been here twice with a large group. I am putting a mediocre due to the service not being great. We went 2.5 hours without any refill on waters for a table of 16. Asking questions leads to 5-10 min delay in anything, its great they have GF options marked. When asked if they have GF bread, they do not, but they have GF crackers so we order the charcuterie board. The board comes out, 10 min later the waitress says they are out of GF crackers. One of my team members wanted NA beer, they are out of that too. So many items 86'd for a restaurant that is in a prime area and attached to a hotel. Menu seems to change with the seasons which is nice and I do appreciate their GF options. I doubt we go back, but had a decent meal both times we went. Would say it is not a place for large groups. read more

Greeted and seated within a few minutes of walking in. Our waiter was super friendly, dude likes ghosts which means we get along just fine. The food was pretty good. I got the Pork Belly Carbonara, which was good. It was very unique I would say, but still good. Girlfriend had the lamb and loved it. The desserts were absolutely delicious as well. We were perfectly pleased with Famille this past Friday night for my birthday dinner. We had a reservation for two and were seated right on time. We shared and enjoyed the focaccia & oil and a harvest salad. My husband ordered the beef short rib and it was mouth-wateringly delicious!! I had the wild boar bolognese, which was also very good! And leftovers from both were even better the next day. I really appreciated the atmosphere of Famille. They pull off trendy, modern, and clean while also feeling comfortable and homey. The artful design was lovely to look around at. Service was good as well, no complaints there! We will certainly be back again. Would love to try brunch here! read more

Service: our waiter was nice but it was really slow service we waited over 20 minutes for drinks (took 10 mins to get water to our table and another 15 for drinks) Food: the French drip was really good- my fiancé got the wild bore bolognese... there was no meat to be found just a lot of pasta and light sauce. The chocolate cake for desert was really good but so thick! Side bar- the dirty martini was too dirty! I was drinking all olive juice Overall- I wouldn't go back for the $. We met some friends for dinner at Famille this evening. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, but it quickly filled up. The space is spotless and has a fresh, newly-opened feel--even though I've heard it's actually been around for a while. Our waiter greeted us warmly and asked if we had dined there before. Since it was our first visit, he mentioned they had just rolled out a new menu. I started with the French onion soup and the grilled chicken wrap. My friends ordered the bolognese and the scallops. The chicken wrap was excellent--the chicken was tender and moist--and both the scallops and the bolognese were big hits at the table. My only complaint was with the soup: it was far too oily, with a visible layer of oil on top even halfway through. For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée, chocolate cake, and pumpkin tiramisu. All three were outstanding and a perfect finish to the meal. Overall, Famille has earned a spot in our restaurant rotation. Next time, I've got my eye on the French dip! read more

With sky high ceiling, fireplace and walled out windows to wash the drizzling ran. Thereby, our constant laughter and Service dog would not hamper others' enjoyment. My friend was brought a small round marble table to eat upon, I am my Aspen we pleasantly seated on a sink into leather sofa. This was only the beginning! I had heard of their onion Soup, and being a vegetarian Chef Lindsey warned me, "Onion Soup Broth is marinated overnight in Venison!" Riley, our most gracious and delightful attentive server, suggested Chef Lindsey's pancakes and embellished to the point I had to ask (albeit this is very uncommon food for me) "may I have ONE SMALL sample." YES was the resonant reply. And to drink Riley, "I prefer hot tea, via your choosing." I was not disappointed. Out came a Hot Peppermint Tea with Honey! This was perfection for a cool rainy Colorado day & the most Souffle air light smaller Pancake ever to caress my mouth! My eyes rolled back into my head with Glee! And onto the Venison Onion Soup: Intensely Delicious! The broth was magnificent - none I have ever experienced from Europe - South & North American, topped with a delicate gruyère cheese and most likely homemade toast. The blending was empyrean! Went here for Easter brunch, so I wasn't able to experience their regular menu. There was a ton of food to choose from. They had a side full of breakfast food and the other side was full of lunch food. The middle table had pastries and desserts. The mini cupcakes were a little stale, but the danish were good. There was also a made to order omelet/scramble station. I left very full. I also enjoyed their Easter take on a mimosa. I would love to go back and check out their regular menu. read more

This place was great and exceeded our expectations! The bruschetta board was so damn good, the French onion soup was super yummy... my duck was great! First time trying it and it was great. It came with puréed parsnips and Brussel sprouts and potatoes. My husband and son both got the French Dip with fries and loved it. This morning, I was treated to outstanding service from Willow. I understand that they recently released a seasonal fall menu, and I want to share how impressed I am with both the quality and execution of this morning's breakfast. I am a big breakfast person, so when I saw the Irish men skillet that include eggs, hashbrowns, cornedbeef, housemade sauerkraut, and housemade dressing I knew what I wanted. This thing came out in a well presented shallow bowl that really highlighted the ingredients and chefs execution. To my pleasant surprise, every flavor and texture was in perfect balance, the corned beef was not overly salty, and the acidic nuance of the sauerkraut was a perfect compliment to the poached eggs and hashbrowns. A dash of hot sauce will activate the tastebuds and have your morning off to a great start. A fantastic breakfast experience and this has earned my recommendation while in Westminster, CO! read more

We had a fantastic breakfast at Famille. It's located next to, and connected with hotel so. Bit challenging to see. Plenty of free parking. The ambiance is modern and quite nice. Service was excellent. Without question, be sure to get something that includes the biscuits. Most delicious ones I've ever eaten. Prices are extremely competitive, with food quality/presentation surpassing many places we've eaten at. We will be back the next time we are visiting the area for sure read more

I was staying at the Origin Hotel and decided to try this place for dinner. Excellent food. Very good service. I had the beef tip roast and mash and broccolini and it was delicious. One star off because they were very busy with a few large parties and seemed to be overstretched on the wait staff's capacity to take care of everything, but they were certainly trying! Tried this restaurant during Denver restaurant week. We had no idea this restaurant even existed. We both got the ribeye steak. Husband got the appetizer with chicken and chorizo skewers. I got the burrata appetizer. For dessert I had the Blood Orange cheesecake. Hubby had the chocolate brownie. Everything was delicious however, please give a real potato instead of those shredded toothpick impostors of a potato! That was the only thing I did not like about my meal.. We continue to go to Famille over and over again! We love the food and the people there in the restaurant are just the best ever! We really love their French dip, but their charcuterie board is killer! It has all kinds of meats, rosemary crackers, but the bacon fig jam ties everything together! YUM! They need to bottle that and sell it in their gift shop! I have to get the french fries every time we go! they have a great Reuben sandwich with a red cabbage on it that's delicious! Well the ambiance is nice but the food was worse then the greasiest truck stop I've ever been too. It took an abnormal amount of time to get such an abysmal meal. We were the only guests! The eggs were literally swimming in grease the bacon so limp I think it oinked. The sausage also under cooked but also maybe spoiled and the potatoes were deep fried hard nuggets. read more

Meeting a friend here and did not realize today was the first day of Denver Restaurant Week 2024. I usually avoid eating out during this time as typically the employees are overwhelmed/overworked, the food is not spectacular as the kitchen just tried to make them as fast as they can to send out the food, and the restaurants were overcrowded. Not this year! We were so lucky to get here and were able to get a table without reservation. Not to mention the adorable Kayla being so amazing and made our experience so memorable and fun! She made great recommendations and was attentive to ensure we always had enough to drink and the food was up to our standards. Great personality shining through too! Food was delicious and very well presented, the charcuterie was a full portion and I was surprised of the generous offering. Steak was great and salad was cold and crisp. Very few people yet I was barely checked up on and at one point I had to ration my water because I didn't get a refill until it was almost time to leave. The French dip was pretty good but the burger I got to go was too greasy for my taste. Brunch was MUCH better. The omelette tasted so fresh, the biscuits and gravy possibly had the best gravy I've ever tasted. The server was much more attentive too. read more

I truly very rarely post a review but I just have to. Today was supposed to be a Mother's Day buffet brunch with all the wonderful things a good brunch offers. When we arrived with a reservation, we were seated right away and then waited 20 minutes for a waitress/waiter. It was nothing more than a complete disappointment and a waste of $70/pp. What they offered was basically all of the things you can get at a good continental breakfast. They only had shrimp, chicken sitting in some strange liquid, lots of salad and pastries but that is not what I paid for I could have gone to Dunkin donuts for that. What food they did have was cold and sub-par, the omelet station could not even make my eggs over easy. Restaurant is clean and beautiful. Went in on a Sunday morning for breakfast five people. Only four tables in the restaurant with people, so that was not the issue resulting in the lousy food. It took 45 minutes from ordering to being served. Every single meal was overcooked, and apparently kept under heat lamps waiting for the other meals to complete. The over-easy eggs were now hard and dry and resembled deviled eggs in texture. Every meal had a nasty overdried color and taste to it. Bacon was tough, dry and hard and could be mistaken for jerky. So was the breakfast sausage. It appears most of the food and certainly the meat was par cooked that morning or the day before and recooked to extra dry and gray. AN extreme disappointment for a $180 meal for the group. Fool me once! read more

Not the best experience today, our first time at Famille. It was Memorial Day, but the restaurant was not crowded. I got the feeling they were a bit understaffed, in part because the person who met us at the host stand turned out also to be our waitress, but also because of later problems. Let me first mention that the decor is very nice. Very modern, comfortable, charming. You do get the feeling of sitting in a large empty room, but this did not really bother me. We ordered soft drinks. A refill for mine was a long time in coming. Our salmon Caesar salad was delivered without the salmon, which the restaurant had apparently already realized when it was being served. We were brought the salmon on a separate plate. This is not a presentation of which I approve. Also, the Caesar dressing was largely to be found in two clumps at the bottom of the bowl, rather than distributed evenly throughout the salad. As one might expect, when I order a salmon Caesar salad I want the salmon in the bowl when it's brought, and dressing properly distributed over the salad. While ordering, I was asked whether I would like my French onion soup to come along with my hamburger or before it. I said I would like the soup first. The two were delivered together. Later in the meal the waitress apologized, saying she had only just noticed that my plates had not been "coursed". We ordered as appetizers, since there weren't really any appetizers during the brunch service, sausages and potatoes. Instead of sausages, we were brought bacon. We pointed this out to the waitress, who said that it might have been her - not sure who else she thought it might have been - and she asked us if we still wanted the sausage. Well yes, that's why we pointed this out, is what I did not say. The proper move here would have been for her to leave the bacon and say "I'll bring the sausage right away," not to ask us whether we still wanted what we had ordered and what we had just pointed out we didn't receive. She took the bacon. Not sure whether it was given to another customer. That would definitely be against protocol. We did get the sausage right away. They were kind enough to bring us a few pastries while we waited for the meal that they said were left over from the weekend. The service was generally pleasant and attentive once it got going, and the food was very good in general. As I say, I wonder if perhaps they were understaffed and this led to some of the issues. I can't grade on a curve, however. The numerous fumbles made this a below-standard experience. And while $120 plus tip for four people is not extraordinarily expensive, it's a price point at which I expect the service to lack the sorts of issues we encountered. read more

Great food and excellent service! I first came in after a long day of travel and had the French Dip. It was VERY good and the fries were done perfectly. The service from Tina was excellent as well. It was a great welcome to the property and to the Denver area. The next day I stopped in for breakfast and it only reinforced my great experience. This time, Margaret was my server. The breakfast was delicious - with big, meaty bacon cooked in that perfect zone with just enough crisp without being dry at all. Eggs, sourdough and fruit were all great. I like my breakfast potatoes on the crispy side, and Cat in the kitchen did them to ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. That awesome breakfast set me up for a good day ahead.
