The amount of times I've visited this dealership and dealt with the crazy and ridiculousness...where do I even start. From leaving my work truck there for scheduled recall work for 10 days while on vacation and returning to "it'll be a bit before we can get to it". To, waiting for an oil change, listening to the staff shop talk for 2 hours and watching the technician literally holding a child in the shop while my vehicle was on the lift. This guy's family was in the shop with a toddler. Most recently, scheduling an appointment for an oil change, arriving, parking and then the search begins. Who's going to approach me and ask what I need. The answer is nobody. "You'll need to pull through the scanner" I was told. Got the report from the scanner, this thing identified bird poop and road grime on my vehicle as body damage on every panel. The vehicle is new, no damage. Then was told it would be 1.5-2 hours to complete my scheduled oil change. Total joke. I'll never be back to this place. McLane Ford in Fredericksburg provides good service and has professional staff.

They failed to reinstall the control valve inside the oil cap and used a cheap, poor-fitting aftermarket oil filter. This caused severe internal damage -- metal shavings were found in the oil, and the engine ultimately failed. BMW confirmed the failure was due to poor oil control caused by that missing valve. To make matters worse, their handling of the situation has been completely unprofessional and unethical. Instead of standing behind their work, they've shown how untrustworthy and careless their process truly is. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they've now resorted to accusing us of spreading lies about their business -- which is not only false but completely immoral. Trying to discredit customers rather than taking accountability for their own negligence is beyond unprofessional. It's embarrassing, and it says everything about the way they operate. This was not a small mistake -- it was complete carelessness that totaled my car. What should have been a simple oil change turned into a $40,000 disaster. Do not trust Capitol Automotive with your vehicle. Legal action is already underway.

In my case I was charged at least more than $300 than the official Toyota. Moreover, I was charged for materials that I provided and I should be charged only for labor. Also they added a ridiculous surcharge for "shopping" for the required parts. But unfortunately I found everything out when the work was done. So please don't believe them. Philip agreed to refund $220(that's why 2 stars review instead of 1)for overcharge and mistake charge for material that I brought. But I still believe that at the official Toyota in general I would pay much less than at tuffy. I also brought their ad voucher for a 10% discount for any work that was over $300" but he refused to provide the discount, it's about $150 that I could get for my ~ $1500 bill with them. As Steve Jobs used to say: " One more thing" - when I told Toyota about my car and what was done - they told me that most likely I don't need half of replacements that was done by a tuffy. So probably I lose even more money than I think. Bottom line: BE CAREFUL and take your time to make sure that you will not be overcharged and make sure that you really need the work that they are offering. I don't know about the other brands but if you have a relatively new Toyota - it's much better to go to the official Toyota for repairs.

My car had just come from the dealership and the repairs they mentioned was never mention by the dealership. My car. I found out the head lamps were NEVER replaced, but I was charged. The AC works worse than before. I called to discuss. They told me to bring car back and it would take an additional week to repair. My NEW radiator broke down. My oil plug was stripped. They left technician rags under my hood. I spent $3000 and they still did not fix what I brought it in for. Just pathetic.
