Stopped into Cedar & Sage Grill House on a Thursday evening, our party of six was seated right away. The decor and vibe felt like a high end steakhouse meets classic Wisconsin bar, which I really liked. Big fan of the local, farm to table concept, and the menu had a ton of tempting options. I ended up going with the bison filet which was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The creamed corn was outstanding, and the fried cauliflower had this unexpectedly sweet twist that worked really well. Overall, just a great dining experience. Highly recommend. read more

I get a steak maybe once a year, so while I was visiting Green Bay, I thought, "What the heck; I'm in Wisconsin. Steak it is." Cedar & Sage Grill House turned out to be a great place to get my yearly steak. It was tender with a little char on the outside. No sauce or nothin' needed. You get one side with the steak, and I chose the corn riblets: basically, long strips of corn cut from the cob that's been grilled. My table included several people, so we ordered a couple of appetizers to share. I insisted on the meatballs, because they sounded delicious and come with a thick chunk of burrata oozing in the middle of the marinara sauce. The meatballs were so soft I barely had to chew them! This was a great appetizer. We also got the cheese curds (of course), and they were probably my favorite cheese curds of my visit to the Green Bay area. They're crusted with corn, and come with two dipping sauces. We also got the Josper grilled prawns, which are serves on Oneida white corn polenta. Speaking of Oneida, I should mention: Cedar & Sage Grill House is located on a Native American reservation. The restaurant makes a huge effort to draw inspiration for its menu from the Oneida Nation and by using indigenous and regional ingredients. The wine list is pretty good -- I mostly stuck to Cabernet, but they have lots of other red and white wines, as well as cocktails and beer. Cedar & Sage is connected to a casino, so after I ate I walked around and watched people gambling. It was a good time. read more

In town for a conference and ate lunch and dinner at this primary restaurant at the casino's hotel. Large dining area and bar with open kitchen. Service was nice and attentive. Lunch: Mixed salad was good with a great mix of toppings and a tasty blueberry vinaigrette dressing. Chicken and Oneida corn soup was ok, not your typical corn. Dinner: Good selection of draft beers and a large cocktail menu. Had to try the old fashioned flight which was fun. My taste preferred the traditional. Tried the walleye based on a recommendation of a local. A bit too fishy for my liking which isn't apparently the norm. Good breading and sauce but it didn't mask the fishiness. Crispy cauliflower was really good. Would eat here again as the menu looked to have many other good options. read more

Went with a group of 8 and before we started ordering, asked if it would be ok to split our bills. Waiter replied "oh you're going to make it complicated" then proceeded to tell us it was ok to split. Mixed up our drinks and at the end of the night, mixed up all the bills even after asking us multiple times how/who was splitting it. I had the pleasure of dining here multiple times while attending the DAV WI State Convention in 2024. This restaurant is located inside the Oneida Hotel at the Oneida Casino/Conference Center in Green Bay. WI. It is clean, bright, and open concept. There's no loud crazy music playing so you can enjoy your dinner guests. The service is a little slow but the food is amazing and absolutely worth the wait!!! I ordered the salmon and Brussels sprouts! Let me tell you, I would eat that veggie all night long with nothing else. Then, the salmon was perfectly grilled and topped with a fruity salsa that made me want THAT all night long with nothing else. So what did I do? I messed it all up by order dessert -- apple crisp with a homemade ice cream drizzled in caramel sauce! It was so hot that I swear they made it fresh and soooo good that, you guessed it ... I could have eaten THAT ALL NIGHT LONG ALL BY ITSELF! Lawd, help me! Maybe, deliver me! I got up and went down to the breakfast buffet! Why or why was it so good? French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fruit, oatmeal, all kinds of sweets, coffee (ask for the hazelnut creamer), just so much goodness! It was all hot and well attended. The buffet was clean. The food temps were monitored. The staff was keeping the area clean and comfy. The host was being the most! It was just a great start to the day! I never eat breakfast but I washed to move in! I felt welcome and ready to go. There's a bar in this restaurant for evening events. Dinner isn't served in the restaurant until 6 pm but the bar is full service. There's accessible space and lots of room for big parties. The food is delicious! Cedar & Sage has some of the usual dishes and some delicious Oneida meals. I especially love the fish with the "three sisters" veggies. The newer decor is beautiful and the tables provide ample privacy and space. I've visited many times over the years and the staff are consistently friendly and timely. I come about 3 times a year because I live out of state and the staff always remember me! So sweet! read more

Have you ever had a Reuben without sauerkraut, rye bread, or 1000 island dressing? Well, I have and I was so disappointed. The description on the menu was smoked corned beef, 1000 Island, caramelized onion, swiss, and Voyaguer sourdough. The smoked corned beef was diced instead of sliced and the sourdough was too toasted. In this case I did not send the food back because it was not worth it but I was really disappointed in the food. The meal came with chips but for an upcharge of $4.00 you can get fries. The Reuben sandwich was $17.00 which was overpriced. I have no interest in visiting this restaurant again. read more

This restaurant is absolutely amazing!!! Hands down one our new favorite restaurants in Green Bay. We have ate here at least a dozen times now and every time has been A home run. Some of our favorites are the cheese curds, chicken sandwich, the fingerling potatoes, sirloin steak, and salmon. This is a must try restaurant, trust me, you will not regret it. Service was good. Food was delicious. We did not expect the giant pretzel because the title of the item said charcuterie which I guess meant it comes either some sausage meats and mustard. A large group of us came here from the same event, the night before a family wedding, at about 7:30 in the evening. Ultimately, there were about 25 of us who came all at different times, and sat in several different areas of the restaurant. Some of the dishes we ordered were the pot belly appetizer, the poutine, the apple, crisp, dessert, grilled cheese, sandwich, duck wings and a lot of alcoholic drinks. Everyone enjoyed their food (especially the duck wings and pork belly), the ambience and the drinks. I ordered the butter burger which was cooked to about medium rare. Tasted good but I should have specified the burger be cooked to medium/medium-well and it was cold. The chips that came along with it were good though. The staff was very nice, but one couple who was with us early on eventually left because no one approached them. We stayed at the Radisson upstairs which was great also. With the casino next door, I'd recommend this restaurant! read more

Tonight had to be one of the worst meals 3 of 4 of us have had. The 4 perch fillets were the size of smelt and very fishy tasting along with being over-breaded. No tartar sauce because they ran out! And our reservation was for 6:15! How can you run out on a Friday in Green Bay!!! The sirloin encrusted in blue cheese was served with the blue cheese sprinkled on top, not encrusted in it! There was an extra $4 charge to have it encrusted! The cheese curds were good but heavily, heavily breaded. The website said the perch would be $18.99 and we were charged $21.99. The butter burger was the best meal that one of us had. The hostess needs customer service training. She made us feel like we were being an inconvenience. It took over an hour to get our food out of the kitchen. Our waitress was good but we felt she was overwhelmed with the amount of tables she had. Francesca did her best and was very accommodating to us. I don't plan on ever going back. Too many other places in the area with great food and prices. The restaurant was very loud because of a party in the room next to it so we had a very difficult time carrying on a conversation. Room was separated by a curtain only. read more

We were sat 30 minutes after our reservation and then waited over 15 minutes for our server (or anyone) to even approach the table. He almost appeared to try to be indifferent. Waited another ten+ minutes for our drinks. The food was disgusting. Mussels were bizarrely dry, half of them looked like the turkey from Natl Lampoons Xmas Vacay movie.
