Where do I begin!? The old Hollywood glam vibe upon entering the walnut is enough in itself. The seating, the dining area, the glassware all of it is right up my alley. Just beautiful. The menu is on a tablet, which each person at the table gets - this is new to me I have never experienced this. Not only is the menu on this tablet but each item you click it will show you a photo and a well written description of whatever it is. (Kids enjoyed that haha) they served a little crostini starter plate with hummus, fresh bread and butter. I ordered the bone in sirloin and when I say perfection I mean perfection Tender and cooked just how I wanted. The wasabi mashed potatoes and au gratin potatoes were also delicious. My least favorite was the calamari I felt it lacked flavor and the oil to cook it was maybe old but everything else made up for it. Great wine and cocktail list as well. Perfect location to celebrate my birthday

Omfg that was the BEST steak I have ever had. I'm not sure they can repeat that, but I will let them try. The atmosphere was awesome and the service was amazing, I can't wait to go again!

Beautiful restaurant and Lobby. Highly Recommended Restaurant for breakfast and high-end dinner! They will not disappoint!

This is a 5-star experience from beginning to end. The location and decoration of the restaurant were beautiful and calming, and the staff top notch. Managers were engaging and interested in every aspect or my experience. My bone-in-ribeye was the best I've had in my 57 years, and I cannot wait to go back to Green Bay, just so I can stay at this awesome hotel and eat at the Walnut Room. I cannot give this restaurant enough praise.

    Anniversary treat.

Went here for our anniversary over a Packer weekend. The highlight of our dinner was our waiter Guy. He went out of his way to hand stuff some olives with Blue cheese to my wife's request. I did have an issue with my steak coming out cold. They offered to make a new one and the manager was genuinely apologetic. I chose to eat it and they chose to remove it from the bill. Really wasn't necessary but appreciate them making things right.

We stopped in on a busy Saturday night for a glass of wine and dessert. The bartender was super quick, witty and had a really cool personal story connection to the hotel that she shared with us. I loved it! I got a white wine that was really dry and my husband ordered a red that was sweet so we swapped wine because we prefer the opposite in our wines. Which was totally okay. The red was slightly sweet and worth the price point on the menu. The bar area was gorgeous. I would love those floors in my home. Leather chairs are roomy and comfortable. The Tres Leche cake was really a wonderful way to finish our evening out. It was not too sweet and the cream sauce they poured on top was rich and divine. I would like to come back for dinner.

    Happy birthday chocolate bomb!

Dining in the Walnut Room was a yesteryear experience worth your time! Excellent service with all the fine dining extras expected such as the amuse bouche, palate cleansing salad course followed by an entree that was exquisitely seasoned and cooked to perfection. Dining in the Walnut room will not disappoint.

Great atmosphere! Less than stellar service at the bar. Go to the sports bar down the steps instead.

You just want to grab a cocktail at the bar. It's so inviting. The drinks: Yes, it's a wine bar! Grab that wine menu and find something you enjoy. But don't dismiss the cocktail menu - I have been able to have some AMAZING cocktails here. It just might be my favorite cocktail bar in the Green Bay Area. I was able to have a pisco sour - which is incredible hard to find up in these parts. The food. Great apps, shareable and dinner options! Of all the ways to go, highly recommend getting a bunch of shareable versus just getting one thing. Can't wait to get back here!

The place was not busy and tables were open but we chose 2 seats at the bar. The bar was also not full. A server gave us water immediately and some menus. And then we waited and waited. Finally after watching the 2 bartenders clean glasses, walk back and forth, chat with others at the bar, we asked if we could order drinks. We got our drinks and were not asked if we wanted to order food. The service was at the lowest laziest point I've seen in a long time. The place slowly filled up and others were served. Not sure why we were invisible. We had to ask to close out and when she brought the check I explained our experience. She was nice and apologized but the service was so unprofessional and although we love to support small local businesses there are too many choices to put up with inattentive service. Do better Amphora.

Very comfortable booth seating with well appointed throw pillows as well as a large bar. The fabric on booth side could use a thorough cleaning. I started with a glass of the Tempranillo and it didn't disappoint followed by an order of the Espana Olive Bowl. There were a variety of olives that were complimented with tomatoes and garlic and lightly seasoned with salt. I could have eaten the entire dish but opted to continue to order from the next section of the menu My next order was the Soasar Atún. The ahi tuna was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was garnished with spinach and tomatoes with a light dressing. I very much enjoyed this dish and once again held back on eating only half. My next order was the Scallop en crème saffron. Unfortunately, they took the scallops off the menu due to the cost (darn supply chain issues). My next choice was the Gambia's Al Allio. I question if I was actually eating prawns vs shrimp based on size and appearance. The dish came with a delicious broth and crostinis. This was my least favorite dish. The seafood was tough and a bit chewy; possibly over cooked. The seafood also came with the shells on, which I didn't mind. Plan to get your hands dirty. The broth was very good as were the crostinis. Better yet was the crostinis dipped in the broth. If the seafood wasn't overcooked, this dish would have been perfect. The service was very good. Because the restaurant was slow (I was the only patron) I was helped by the waitstaff AND the chef. While the chef was only 25 years old, I was very impressed with his cooking and attention to detail. The waitress was attentive but not overly, which I appreciated as I wanted to also read a book while I sat. I'm giving 4 stars because of the cleanliness of the place and the Gambia's Al Allio. Both things are easily correctable. I would absolutely recommend this place and will come back again

I did make a reservation on-line but couldn't get anything early except for an hour out so we walked over and immediately got a table - go figure. I got one that tasted like a Blue Hawaiian, another got the Purple Haze and the third got the Strawberry shortcake- all looked beautiful and were very good. I ordered the BBQ chicken flatbread with a Korean BBQ flavor which was exceptionally good. My wife ordered the quinoa bowl which included chicken - she liked it a lot. The others had a different flatbread (I don't recall which one) and stuffed mushrooms which they shared and gave good reviews. The prices were reasonable. This place also is a wine store, thus the name.
