This place kinda stole my heart, arguably due to its geography. But along with its quirky West Texas setting, it's incredibly charming with stellar coffee from Noble & Flat Track. No matter where I am, it turns into a coffee hunt as the snobbery has no limits. Many places disappoint, and few leave a mark. Cedar definitely left a mark. I wish I could go back every day, but it's certainly worth a special trip if you're in the area (even if you're not). read more

Living in Alpine, is a pleasure. We have a delightful coffee shop, with a friendly, inviting staff and owners. I have felt un welcomed. I have visited another coffee shop in town on numerous occasions, only to leave like it was a bother to come in and order a coffee or juice. I was surprised at how delicious their coffee was! I sat and had my coffee there, but bought another one for the road. A very cute and hip little coffee shop in Alpine. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the very limited food selection. Don't get me wrong--their waffles are AMAZING. But they only offered 4 items for breakfast. Probably the trendiest little shop in Alpine. Very modern and minimalistic touches but without the snobby barista attitude, just some good old far west hospitality. The coffee was fantastic, I got an iced dirty chai latte. Every little detail was well thought out from the furniture, clothing choices, and menu. Wonderful cold brew. We are visiting Big Bend from Dallas and stopped in Alpine on our way to the McDonald Observatory. They offer a classic espresso menu with lattes and such and the interior is a minimalistic decor with a shop next door that has beautiful carved wood furniture. Highly recommend on your trip to Alpine! read more

Cedar is one of my favorite places in Alpine. The atmosphere is very relaxing and everyone working there is so welcoming. If you're passing through Alpine this is the place to stop. Excellent coffee. Beautiful space. Not a ton of places to sit inside so if you're bringing a big group or there's something going on in town you might need to make alternate seating plans. We had crepes here and they weren't great. We had savory crepes, although there was a sweet option. The crepes themselves were slightly undercooked and they needed a sauce or something to keep all the ingredients together. The tomatoes and spinach inside were cold. I love the idea but the crepes need a little bit of tinkering and they could be excellent. read more

Cedar Coffee & Supply has the best coffee in Alpine. There is too much to praise. The owners are great genuine people that care about the town they are in. They always greet you with a smile. They have great products (inducing organic and direct trade) that are at a reasonable price. This is the kind of small business you want to pop up in your town. I'm happy Cedar Coffee & Supply is in my town. Go get you a cup! The "Tan Brewster" is my favorite! read more

They know coffee and they know service. Great place to pick you up in the morning. Although I didn't eat breakfast here, I wish I had. The table next to me had crepes for $7.50 and they looked excellent. The coffee was great. I'll always go back here. read more

The best coffee within 100 miles. The matcha and mocha are my usual, and they are delicious! Or ask for a scoop of vanilla ice cream in your espresso or drop coffee! I would highly recommend them. Only complaint--not open on Sunday. read more

They have good coffee. Lots of space and tables with a bench outside. Also a viewing room for wood crafted furniture. A pleasant experience for a coffee break. Close to the courthouse too and the tax office. read more

I have most recently had the privilege of enjoying their fantastic cold brew, the Tan Brewster, which truly is the perfect balance of full, rich coffee, milk, and house made organic vanilla syrup. On prior visits to the coffee shop I've savored the best London Fog Tea I have ever had, and their quintessential Cappuccino that I will always return for, if only my travels will take me back to this wonderful West Texas locale! read more

I have worked with coffee for years as a barista and I make a point of trying local coffee shops wherever I am. This coffee shop gave me a macchiato that was one of the best I have ever had. My friend, got a soy chai and she claims it is the best she has ever had. I am from right outside of Chicago where the coffee is great. But this place is better than Intelligentsia AND Bow Truss! The coffee was FANTASTIC. Also the machine was beautiful! read more

My family and I visited Alpine this weekend while we were camping at Fort Davis. I had seen there was a coffee shop here and wanted to give it a shot. I have not had delicious, perfectly brewed coffee since my years in Washington State. I now live in Midland and coffee there is burned and extremely overly flavored. Turns out Cedar Coffee Supply was a very lovely place to stop and well worth the 30 or so minute drive. The coffee was literally perfection. I would have returned Sunday but noticed they were closed. We bought a Latte (Latte Art and all) and an iced Tan Brewster which was absolutely delicious. This is a rare gem in West Texas! Perfection!! read more
