Good food, wine is ok and beer is ok . The thing I disliked was having to go one place for beer one place for wine and one for food. It's shame they don't open earlier so people with an earlier lunchtime could eat there. We don't attend the music events due to dogs being brought in. read more

Good beer, wine, and beer soft serve. The staff are friendly and cool. The grounds are nicely done and they even had a live band today. I really like this place and hope to come back. The Irish red is one of the best I've had. It's not muddy or to malty and ends up being really refreshing. The lager is fairly light but has a nice bitter note, easy to drink. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. Not only does it have great beer, but it has a great setting where you can also get wine and a few choices of hard liquor. I had visited those other sides of the property before, so I had to stop in to check out the beer side. Sharing the same building as the winery, the brewery side is very rustic looking with wine barrels stacked in the "dining" room portion of the brewery. There is a counter but barstools are VERY limited. The nice part of that is that it clears space to allow new purchases to occur without reaching over someone. I decided to do my usual flight whenever checking out a brewery for the first time. They have four 5 oz for $10 at the time of my visit. And they had loads of options to choose from. One of the really cool things they do is have light IPA's, IPA's, and their SMaSH beer comes if five single hop varieties so that if you order a flight of SMaSH, you can tell the differences in the hops. Very cool. I will have to try that the next time. Since I wanted more variety, I went with a Blood Orange Blonde (4.7%, 25IBU) which was citrusy, but not too sour. I then went with the SMaSH with the Calypso hops (4.7%, 47) which was hoppy, but aptly named light. I followed up with their regular IPA (American) at a kicking 7% (52 IBU) that was really well balanced. And I finished off with a really tasty Vanilla Bean Milk Stout (5%, 24). It's pretty rare when I like all the flavors I pick in a flight, but this was about as close as I've been. Very good options! The service in the afternoon was great, though I will say there weren't a lot of folks at the counter at 3 in the afternoon. Like another reviewer, we had visited Cedar Creek in Martinsville only one other time years ago before the brewery and distillery were built. We liked the winery, but with the addition of the distillery and brewery, Cedar Creek is a truly unique destination. It is certainly the only winery/brewery/distillery in the greater Indianapolis area, and I'm not sure if there are many others (if any) elsewhere in the state. The beer is very good, and there are a variety of styles, so everyone should be able to find something they will like. The vanilla stout, in particular, was out-of-this-world, crazy good. The distillery was also great--I really liked that you could get flights of small mixed drinks with their spirits rather than just having to sample hard liquor straight as with some other local distilleries, which is not my favorite thing to do. The mixed drinks included rum and coke, a hot, spiced cider drink, and a deliciously decadent "pumpkin smash." All of the bartenders were very helpful and friendly, and the location is beautiful. We will definitely return again when we have more time very soon. read more

Stopped in to Cedar Creek winery/brewery/distillery for a little after dinner drink. I enjoyed the Martintuky as my first choice but the nut brown is also good if you like Amber and darker beers. We stopped here a couple years ago and they only had the winery open. Now they have all three open. The grounds are a beautiful pastoral setting with wonderfully spacious seating areas which makes for a good family friendly environment. The architect on the buildings take you to the backwoods of Kentucky for the distillery, the Bavarian alps for the brewery and the French Riviera for the winery. There are picnic tables, pavilions and fire pits around the grounds. There's also an open air platform for the band. They have done a wonderful job decorating and their selections will fit any taste. We are so glad we stopped back to check in on them. We will definitely be back again very soon to expand our tastings of each of their offerings. read more

We love this family owned business. The staff is always friendly and kids are welcome. Live music on the weekend is a nice touch. The owner, his wife, and kids are there regularly and may even play (free) Pac Man with you. When everything was shut down due to COVID, the owner was making deliveries himself. Indiana is blessed with over 100 microbrews. Well, this is my local favorite. They are in the process of expanding the retail space. On my multiple visits I have found a wide range of beers along with some seasonals. The Amber is my draw, but today I discovered a Irish Red that is what KIllian's SHOULD have been. There are snacks available on the wine side and you can bring them down to the brew, but the brew room is all about the beer. At least one of the brewers has been on site each of my visits. I wonder if they would mind if I parked my motorhome in the lot for a vacation. read more
