We have been here several times and they always have an excellent selection of locally brewed beers. Manager Becky and her Nashville staff were friendly and attentive even during a very busy time. Highly recommend if you are looking for a local brew that will blow your mind! We travel a lot and this place takes the cake! My current fav: Cecil M Hardin Lake hazy IPA and 40th parallel Bohemian pils!!

Tiny spot with really great beer! We enjoyed a flight and honestly, we thought every beer we tried was really tasty even if it wasn't our "style" of beer. Friendly staff. Quaint little porch & really good beer. We'll be back.

Great local hangout with fun trivia every Wednesday evening. Food is solid, great street tacos and a full bar if beer isn't your thing.

Our waitress, Christy (may or may not be spelling that right), was wonderful and brought water and 2 small bowls out for my dogs immediately. Chips and salsa were served, and were solid (and not stale, thank heavens!!). I couldn't narrow down my choices sufficiently, so I asked Christy what her favorite menu item was. She recommended the Quesadilla a la Diabla, so I went with that. She was not wrong! It was flavorful (not even remotely spicy, though, which I'd have expected from the name), and very filling! My friend had the Pollo Hawaiian and loved it, as well! We both also got banana daiquiris, and they were refreshing! I didn't get pictures because we pretty much inhaled everything that wasn't nailed down! I'll definitely be back to try other options, and I'll recommend to my passengers (I'm a local tour guide in town).

It will get the job done in a pinch, but it's very easy to find better Mexican food. Really, go just about anywhere. But it's a cute room and the service was perfectly fine. There's no reason to ever go back.

Depending on how busy they are, you may have a short wait for a table, and your food might take a little longer to come out--but it's well worth it. Don't stop at just the restaurant. Take some time to explore the beautiful grounds, browse the merchandise shop, and walk out to Hard Truth on the Rocks, where you'll find a spacious outdoor deck overlooking the property. During the warmer months, they often have live music, making it an easy place to spend a few relaxing hours. The cocktails are excellent, the staff has always been incredibly friendly, and there's plenty of Hard Truth merchandise if you're looking for a souvenir. I may or may not have left with a t-shirt. Whether you're visiting Brown County for the day or just passing through Nashville, Hard Truth is more than just a restaurant--it's a destination that's absolutely worth adding to your itinerary.

I ordered the spinach salad and it came out perfectly. I had grilled chicken added to it. The flavor was great and there were sun-dried tomatoes, bacon, and walnuts on the salad. The dressing was light and tasty. The room was huge and a bit loud but I could still talk with my friend. I definitely recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

The roast beef was delectable! I was served 3 of them and I could have probably ate 6. The mashed potatoes were also tasty but they were served with chicken gravy instead of beef. I didn't specify which gravy when I ordered. I assumed pot roast would come with beef gravy. My friend had a grilled chicken breast sandwich. She asked for barbecue sauce on the side. She was surprised that she was charged $1.00 for a portion size cup of it. Hmmm. I would never have guessed that that would involve an extra charge. I would come back again when in Nashville, Indiana.

We tried it on Friday Night and were really pleasantly surprised with the meal. We both had fried chicken with mashed potatoes/gravy and green beans. All was delicious. Very down home, fresh and tasty! I did not take a picture. However, we decided to try it again, tonight, Saturday. I took photos as we dug into the plates. Ralph has a tenderloin with onion rings. Very tasty. I had a delicious fish and chips. And we gad the sweetest waitress, both nightswill be back.

Truly, Hobnob Corner has a great wine list. This is the restaurant to visit in downtown Nashville…read moreif you want a nice glass of wine (or two, I don't judge) with your lunch, or perhaps even your breakfast (again, not judging). I couldn't help myself when I saw that they were featuring two special wines, and one of them was a Sauvignon Blanc called Sincerite. I had never tasted this particular wine, but it sounded special! And sincere! It was good, but maybe a little too sweet for my palate. Isn't that sometimes the way with those earnest wines? I visited for lunch when I just wanted a little something. So I got the soup of the day -- a bean and beef number in a tomatoey broth. It came with a fennel-seed-studded roll. The soup was amazing and tasted like something a mom or dad or grandma or grandpa would make: just kind of simple and hearty and good. I also got the Hobnob Green Salad, which is mesclun topped with shredded cheese, mushrooms, cubes of turkey and croutons. I'm not a big fan of raw mushroom slices in general, and particularly on a salad, so I picked off the mushrooms like a petulant child and ate the rest of the salad. My soup and salad went really well with my cold glass of Sauv Blanc. Hobnob Corner was very busy when I visited! Nashville is a place that gets lots of visitors, and this restaurant, which is located on the corner of a busy intersection in downtown Nashville, is no exception. But I was able to get a table right away, even though I was a party of one. There is no bar here, by the way. Even though they were busy, the service was quick and friendly. They also have a pastry selection in a display case in the front of the restaurant. You can pop in and grab a cookie or pastry, if you want.

Our whole family came along, and we were excited to try it out. I ordered the tenderloin sandwich, and while it wasn't bad, it didn't really stand out either -- just OK. That seemed to be the theme across the table. Nothing was terrible, but nothing wowed us either. It's a nice spot for a sit-down meal if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Solidly average.
