The area was clean and well-kept, and an employee even got cereal and milk for my child. As guests left, he promptly cleaned and reset tables for the next group. The motel is conveniently located next to a gas station in case you need anything. The pillows weren't my favorite, but they were fine. I understand that the cabins are old, and authentic but it would help a little. I would also recommend a little better dusting, around window sills, and windows/curtains, a fair amount of dust that came off, every time we closed the blinds or pulled the curtains. That is the only reason I rated it a 4 instead of 5.
