Of course, if they could do all services, the cost would be considerably cheaper. The business appears to a small entrepreneurship. The owner was very personable and straightforward. He even recommended another glass replacement company that might have the appropriate tools to complete calibration. Unfortunately, that company did not have the tools either. So, it looks like the windshield will be replaced at Audi. The great thing about technology like cameras and other gadgetry, they are great when they are working. However, it is costly to replace them.

Called after not hearing anything and got in touch with someone and got all the details of cost, etc. I told them I call them right back about scheduling. I needed to work with my partner for someone to be home when they showed. Then it was pretty hard to get back in touch with them. Took a few calls. I would honestly would knock a star because of this. However, when I finally got in touch with someone they said they had a family member pass. It is the year of COVID. I get it. Life is too dang hard at the moment and a windshield is nothing compared to death. Got something scheduled. The day of someone called and said his guys were going to stop for breakfast in Oak Hill and then head my way. Two hours later they showed. Again not really cool to take two hours for breakfast. Obviously, they either were far away (Oak Hill is about 15 minutes from me) or did something else. Usually wouldn't be a big deal but we had somewhere to be and needed time to get there. Bad on us for scheduling something three hours post a scheduled time to meet. The two guys that came out were professional and fast. I guess they did a good job as the windshield is in place and hasn't fallen out. They moved the toll and inspection sticker for me. $400ish seems high but when I called around it was about the same price and they come to you. Things cost more than you ever think they should. Overall I would have them improve their communication. Then again maybe I caught them at a bad time. Either way I have a new windshield and didn't have to go anywhere to get it. Do note you can't move the car for about 90 minutes post installing a new windshield. Thankfully, we have multiple cars to drive to our appointment.

They were supposed to be here between 10 and 1 today. I was told I'd get a call/text the day before (Tuesday) to confirm. No call. I messaged them on Yelp today and was told that I would be getting a text when the tech left his previous repair in New Braunfels. At 10:30, I got a text saying he was 20 minutes away. By 11:30, I began to become concerned as to whether they were coming. No replies to texts or calls. After a second call, he told me that he was redoing his last repair and he'd be leaving there in 20-30 minutes and said that repair was not the one in New Braunfels. At this point, I cancelled. This place has more red flags than most online dating sites.

Had some windows made by this company, had a man come out who's name started with a K cussing and…read morethrowing stuff cause he was struggling with some specialty shaped window measurements and things falling. That should of been my first sign to maybe look else where, second was told windows would be made in 10-14 days took an extra week ok a little more understandable, then when dropped off was asked for payment while my partner was taking care of this issue. Third issue is they were rude when dropping off windows saying they knew how to do their job, when we never questioned that just wanted answers so if our customer had questions we could answer them. Well turns out one window wasn't made while we had two windows extra that didn't march any size of window that was ordered. Called they looked for it and then called to have it remade best thing they did it was rushed but since it was rushed the glass was scratched, so the replacement window wasn't trying to be rushed again to possibly show up at the end of the week great but for sure Monday ok. Well it is Tuesday still no window and they haven't gotten it either and now I won't get it until Wednesday when the weather will be starting at 35 degrees. At this point I'm asking about some kind of reimbursement cause this has already delayed the project I have going on for days let alone the week extra to get started. Go in circles with the owner who makes these decisions is out of the office, the women who makes these calls isn't in, I have to take this up with the manufacturer, the owner of the company will have to get back to you on that. Yet no one has gotten back to me about it. I've dealt with a warehouse person possible the manager who doesn't like when you have. Questions about their answer or more the one question because it's nothing they can do, or it's not their fault. Told me the people who talk to about getting a reimbursement would have to be the manufacturer but then changed it to the owner of the company. Told me to call and hung up, did t give a number didn't ask if I needed or had any other questions very poor customer service. I call the office to speak to Terry I'm on hold for 5-10 mins the. Jim gets on the phone says Terry is in meeting he can call me when he gets out that was around 11:30 I had to call back around 2:40 to follow up and they said he left out of the office for personal reasons. So again I'm not having my issues resolved. I haven't gotten questions answered in the best of light and seems when you have more then one question more then just one staff member doesn't like it. I will not be working with them again and hope others will chose a company that values everyone's times. Oh and if we didn't pay in full when they requested they would repo our windows even though they made errors. Great job Longhorns!

Come to find out following the replacement that the glass is not even the correct size for the vehicle! There is NO WAY that an incorrectly sized window "meets all manufacturer specifications" for my car, and the vehicle is still exposed to both wind noise and weather elements. When I notified them of this, they acknowledged that they made a mistake but told me that because they gave me a discounted price they cannot do anything about this. I did not receive what I paid for, and their refusal to work with me or make this right is unacceptable. Completely agree with the other negative reviews, they leave you no choice but to contact BBB and attempt to take legal action over something as simple as replacing a window. Will update this review if the business shows any sign of making this right.

The recent cold has been shocking the spread of this crack, and with vehicles getting smarter and smarter these days, meaning a simple new windshield, requires camera recalibration to the glass being installed and what not. I called the Subaru dealership in Austin, since I wanted OEM parts, but since I was also going thru insurance with Geico, they said they wouldn't approve dealership prices with market rate payments associated to fixes of windshield repair. I found Pro Glass from local word of mouth, and they were so friendly, quick to get the invoice and claim thru to walk me thru the process of working with insurance and get me in the books with me explaining I wanted OEM glass installed since I imagine having the added extended warranty means I need to keep all the original pieces of my subaru if the eyesight or cameras start to fail later on. Amy and team were not only friendly, the quoted 2 hour wait since camera recalibration is included in the windshield repair, went by fast. I had access to WiFi to work out of their cozy waiting lobby area, paid my deductible and I was in and out before you knew it! AGS changed the windshield on my car and gave back the keys saying they couldn't calibrate the camera. I was given a vendor name (not affiliated to AGS) and was told that I am welcome to go and see if they can fix it. No word on refund or the possible risks like this before they proceeded with job. The trouble of driving the car on road with all warnings as the safety features are working is for the owner. I definitely wont recommend them for cars with advanced safety features. Had they informed me, my choice definitely would have been Safelite or the dealer. The money got wasted and AGS is not refunding anything. Such bad customer service wasn't expected after reading yelp reviews.
