CPRMC offered wonderful care thru their Emergecy Room. All the staff were pleasant, profes- sional and efficient.

Medical service perhaps okay, but be prepared to sit in the waiting room with their attendant/clerk at the desk watching their personal video device dropping F Bombs and GDs where anyone in waiting room can hear. Ive been here a couple of times, my experience yesterday was one I have never had before. I never been the biggest fan of this "chain" this location and the big hospital in cedar park. I got a pretty bad sunburn on Saturday, I woke up Monday morning with a fever and in so much pain. I felt mentally fogged, couldn't really formulate sentences without struggling, I was spinning, overly tired (slept all day and couldn't keep my eyes open) I finally decided that I needed to be seen. My mom drove me, I got there I had been crying all day from being in so much pain could barely keep my eyes open, was walking so slowly because everything was spinning. The male nurse was super sweet, he got me back right away (no complaints on him) as soon as I was in the room the female dr or whoever she was asked me what was going on, I was maybe one sentence in, no evaluation no further questions and she diagnosed me with vertigo. I had explained to them I had previously had lab work done that showed low potassium and low vitamin d (with other deficiencies) and she told me that it wasn't connected to the sunburn and then proceeded to say it was vertigo and treat for that. it wasn't until my mother spoke up about me missing my medication for 2 days till she thought that it might be withdraws from that but still stood on it being vertigo. she gave me meclasine, torydol, and zofran and they did an iv drip. after medication was already administered, she came back in and said that she looked up withdraws symptoms from my medication and that it was most likely that and told me that the medicine she had given me was not going to help since I was experiencing a neurological issue. no other work up or evaluation, even though I was twitching/shaking, clearly having a hard time keeping my eyes open and communicating. and then she discharged me. thankfully I woke up this morning feeling a lot better, after having to sleep off all the medicine until 10 am. But I will say that is the most neglected I've ever felt from a dr and Im just relieved it wasn't anything actually serious or life threatening. I was very scared and thought that something was actually wrong and I felt very brushed off or rushed. on the bright side that is the fastest er trip I've ever experienced (hour and half at most). read more

I had to go to the emergency room yesterday because of a sudden intestinal problem. The only complaint is that the center was understaffed (only one physician on a Sunday morning) and consequently they were painfully slow in treating me. However, I focus more on the positive. Treatment was competent and effective. The hospital is clean and with adequate resources. But what I want to highlight is the attention of Gary, one of the nurses. The level of compassionate care he provided deserves very special recognition and my sincerest gratitude. read more

I'll never come to this ER again. This was hands down the worst treatment I've ever experienced. Stopped in this eve. The ER doctor was completely pissy and had no interest in providing care the moment that she walked in. Is the first thing that you want to hear from an ER DR the moment they enter the room is a pissy mean girls attitude with a "So, what is that you want? What is it that you want from me? What do you want me to do? I mean, seriously, what the hell??? Has serious concerns about head issues and the ER DR never laid a finger on me. "Yeah, you have a little pain, big deal" The didn't even record my height, weight or blood pressure correctly. I was forced to go to a different ER after this visit. I would give a one star review but Yelp tends to unethically hide those from reviews. I hope you get sued one day. read more

Avoid this ER in Cedar Park at all costs. There was blood everywhere from prior patients, wiped on the walls and splattered on the floor. There are no beds for patients, even if there for a concussion. You only get the old blue leather chair that will recline if you are able to press your head and back into it continuously. Very under staffed, minimal post concussion instructions. I'm in shock that a place like this exists in Cedar Park. I did not see a doctor, only a PA. Avoid this ER! read more

I can't comment on the billing and/or handling of finances yet at this location. With that caveat, I have to give this facility top marks for the actual medical treatment offered. I brought in a friend who was having serious chest pains and breathing issues in the late morning. She was offered a wheelchair and taken back immediately to be looked at. While it was not a heart attack, the physician on duty at the time (Dr. Birnbaum) quickly stabilized the patient and diagnosed the issue as congestive heart failure. This diagnosis was confirmed as correct by the cardiologists at the Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. Service was brisk at a time that it was sorely needed. Kudos to this center for being able to use an ambulance to bring immobilized patients to the nearby hospital. Once again, I've not dealt with the billing part of the process yet, so if that is a concern take my review with a grain of salt. However, for the ER side of things I have nothing but good things to say about their team. I would definitely return myself if I had a medical condition that needed immediate treatment. read more

Just received a $3,000 bill in the mail for a 5 mile ambulance ride from this facility to the hospital which we were assured was free. I asked to drive my partner myself to avoid a cost, but I was told the ride was covered since both businesses were part of the Cedar Park Regional medical facility. read more

We had to come in twice. My 5 year old son broke his arm badly and we didn't think we could make it all the way to the pediatric ER. The doctor was able to perform a procedure to put the bone in place and put the arm in a cast. We later saw a specialist and they told us the ER doctor did a really good job for the bone to align. I felt that I was heard and treated well. And we got excellent care. read more

not a place you want to be if you have an emergency. we ended up walking out because of the way my husband was talked to by front office while he was in extreme pain and the person who stated she was a nurse at check in window had no sense of human compassion as was talking to us like we were dirt on the bottom of her shoe and that she didn't have time for us . we signed in and never were called back and ended up leaving to go elsewhere because he was in pain and could not get answers on estimated wait time.understandable , but as someone that works in healthcare a bit of compassion should be part of your job , acting inconveinced with out questions and talking to my husband like a child because he misunderstood your questions about medical hx and was basically scolded while he was again in extreme pain. only to get a bill for 200 for vitals that they took from wait room . For us to sit and wait to be seen some more never seeing a Dr. this was a joke and I hope someone has better compassion for them if they are ever in a state of emergency. we went somewhere else he was seen and treated right away and treated with optimal level care. I am concerned about substandard care given to patients in an emergency at CP regional. read more

If I were only ranking this facility on their medical care, they would deserve 5 stars. The clinical staff was excellent - very comfortable, great bedside manner, made me feel better. However, there is unfortunately another side to medical facilities - billing. This facility is NOT an urgent care facility, which bills slightly above usually doctor visits. This place charges like an ER, but doesn't have all the life saving abilities a real ER would have. I went in for a really bad headache. I felt like an idiot going to a doctor for a headache, but I couldn't make it go away. They treated me with an IV, Benadryl, a few injectable meds, and oxygen and diagnosed me with cluster migraines. $4400 in billed charges later, I went home and slept off my migraine (which in hindsight is what I should have done in the first place.) What they don't advertise at their front desk is that although they "accept" insurance, they aren't in network. Good to know, people. Good to know. I recommend sticking with your GP, and urgent care facility, or straight to an ER. I have learned my lesson. read more

Been here a few times throughout the years for different reasons (myself, kids, etc). Never had to wait too long, was always treated with care and left better than when we went in. Fast forward to last week, I had been experiencing severe arm pain that got worse as I was leaving work. I decided to drive straight to the ER for help. There was no wait and the place seemed pretty empty when I walked in. I was taken back and asked what was going on, I explained the arm pain and my health history. The Dr then proceeded to ask "So what made you think you were dying that you decided you had to come here?" Now I work in healthcare and understand the frustration that not everyone that goes to the ER is actually experiencing an emergency. But even if this was the case, this is no way to treat someone who is coming to you for help. Luckily I was able to get an appt to see my specialist the next day but I was very disappointed by the Dr's comment. The nurses and everyone else were great, but I hope I never have to run into Dr. Harding again. read more

I had to take my dad back here as he was having trouble spitting up. I felt like it was a waste of time because they said that he prob needed an Endoscopy and that would have to be done at the hospital ER. They said I could take him there myself or they could call an ambulance. No mention about it being free transport. The doctor said he would call them and let them know I was coming which he did; but at first, they hadn't heard anything. I'm upset because I feel like I'm now going to be charged for 2 emergency rooms in the same day; even though this location all they did was briefly look at him. I was hoping they could give him something to calm his stomach which is why I went there. It's not their fault that they couldn't help him but it would make me feel better if they had assured me that there would be no charge since Emergency Rooms are expensive. They could have redirected me at the front rather than taking him back there and doing nothing. read more

If I can save you money and time, DO NOT GO HERE. They should have a sign on the door that says just to see you we will charge you 3k. That could save lots of people money for something small. We thought stopping in here would save us time as well as not take up room in Er for something small. Also money from going to the ER for stitches. My husband received 3 stitches and wanted to cash pay. They take no money here and won't even talk money. They said no you will receive a bill in the mail and you can opt for cash pay then if you would like. Needless to say we received a bill that it cost 4k to get three stitches. We were better off staying at home and getting an ambulance for the three stitches. Then when we contacted the billing department and asked for an itemized statement. Welp that had three lines on it with no explanation as to why there was 4k in charges. They were rude and offered no help what so ever. read more

Waited six hours for confirmation that my arm was not broken. In those six hours, checked once to see if we were still in the queue and got the response, 'you know we're busy, right!'. Visit cost me almost $2,000. $400 of that was for a velcro arm splint that would've cost $30 at Walgreens. read more

If I could give Cedar Park Regional Emergency Center in Leander more stars, I would. The staff are all friendly and its pretty fast in and out. Since this stand alone emergency room is part of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center in Cedar Park Texas, all insurances are accepted as well as self pay individuals. Its just like going to the actual hospital ER with all the benefits of it being at a stand alone ER. I would recommend this particular ER to anyone needing EMERGENCY ROOM services. *Please remember that this is an actual EMERGENCY ROOM and you WILL get hit with EMERGENCY ROOM charges, NOT Urgent Care as this is NOT an urgent care or a doctor's office. I know a lot of people get upset about coming here thinking they are going to an urgent care, which this place is NOT. PLEASE READ THE SIGN outside the building, "EMERGENCY ROOM".* With that note, I personally don't mind paying the ER visit fees because I sincerely think I will get the BEST care here. Everyone at this free-standing ER work well together and act as a little work family which in my personal opinion works in favor of the patient. Every RN, every Patient Access clerk, every Lab Tech, every Radiology Tech and every MD have all been very nice, very professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Since this free-standing ER isn't as populated with as many patients as the main CPRMC ER constantly are: this small, clean, and large roomed free-standing ER have more time to concentrate on each patient individually. *You WILL get an Emergency Room bill, and you WILL get a separate bill that is the doctor's bill, plus if they do any lab work or any radiology images, you may or may not get hit with those bills as well. Again, Emergency Room's are NOT cheep, however, the service you receive here will be TOP OF THE LINE. For my personal health, you can't put a price tag on that.* read more

This morning my daughter had a very scary congested cough and started getting a fever at 1am this morning. I gave her Tylenol but her congested cough made me very nervous especially with hearing about pneumonia being so common after the flu which she had not long ago. So I decided to not risk it and take her to minor emergency clinic once she developed the fever. I could not take her to the doctor since it was 2 am on a Sunday. As soon as I walked in we were received with a very weird attitude. The nurse asked why we were coming in and when I told her my concerns she responded with "did you give her something for her fever?" I said yes. Then she said with a snarky voice "well what do you want us to do?" then laughed. Nobody was there in the waiting room I do not know if they had a long night there but I did not want to be there at 2am either. I don't think it's ok to treat a parent that is just trying to make sure that their child is ok and not developing something serious like pneumonia that way. The doctor that attended us as well was not the nicest either. Also asked why I went, I don't understand why they're open if they are not willing to help out people. That is their job. I have insurance as well so I just don't understand what the problem was. They were at least nice to my sick child, but I would not recommend going here as a worried parent if you have a sick child. read more

Even though my vital signs were extremely stable, they still listened to me and addressed all my concerns. I felt so much better after leaving. Misty at the front desk is incredibly condescending and rude. I am a nurse and simply needed to come in for an x-ray. Right off the bat there was no "what are you here for?" Etc. So I started by stating I hurt my foot, needed to figure out what I had done, and had asked to make sure that was alright or whether I should go to an urgent care instead. She made me feel stupid and unwelcome, acted like I didn't know where I was, rudely explained your basic doctors visit "well youll have to see one of our /emergency/ doctors, and they'll decide what to do" like I didn't know I was in an emergency room??? I couldn't tell if she was training the gentleman behind the desk with her, but I feel bad for him if that's the example she is setting for care. If someone comes in and asks a question you don't need to make them feel bad, you can simply answer the question. It's very easy to do! :) read more

The care was fine. However, I am self employed and pay for our own medical bills. We went in for a possible broken finger with one of my sons. I inquired as to how much it might be, they said they could not say, but that it would be reasonable. 1. They still could not determine the amount of bill after the appointment ended.. Just asked for a "deposit" of $200, which we paid. 2. When I received the bill it was for over $2,400 for what turned out to be a finger sprain, I called to discuss how this must be a mistake and was on hold for 15 minutes, then it sent me to a voicemail as I started to speak the phone cut off. I called back and the same thing happened. I did not get anyone on the phone until I called a 3rd time. The only thing she offered was an itemized bill and I don't really care for which items I was overcharged. I find their system to be unethical and unfair to those of us who self pay. If you have insurance they may be fine. However, if you don't please avoid them. We were there approximately 1 hour and they took 2 x-rays and placed the finger in a splint. I am not sure how they will explain this into a bill of $2,400. They are clearly a rip off. Now they did make an adjustment to the bill and took off $796.84....really? How about just charging a fair amount and not jacking up the price then making an adjustment to make it look like they are helping you out. There may even be more bills to come as $2,000 was the "facility bill" and $400 was for the doctor. The doctor was in with my sons maybe 5-6 minutes. read more

Had to take my husband here for kidney stones and despite past reviews, I must say the staff and Dr Edward Kim have been fantastic! Everyone is extremely friendly and they took my husband right away! Immediately managed his pain and did scans determining that he definitely does have a kidney stone. They took excellent care of us and I would highly recommend coming here if you're in need of emergency care. read more

Please avoid this place! This place is a rip off! They nickel and dime you. My husband cut his hand. Unfortunately it was at 9pm when no other place was open and it was just a couple of days before our new insurance kicked in. We were slapped with a bill for $2,500....for a cut!!! Yes, they did put on a splint, which was overkill and poorly applied. But seriously, $2,500!! We have called several times to try to get an itemized list of our charges. One guy gave us codes over the phone, and when we asked what the code means he said to "google it" We will never return here! read more

I sought help for a serious health scare and which was quickly dismissed (the nurse actually laughed when I told her how long I'd been experiencing one symptom) and was offered not one, not 2, but 5 different pharmaceuticals. I'm no doctor but when I was there for over an hour and coughed exactly 1 time, I doubt I need a breathing treatment (which I have available at home), they told me my pain was muscular (I KNOW it is NOT) and tried to give me pain pills and muscle relaxers! 9 months after a visit - our saga with this facility continues. I just received a notice from a collection agency for the physician's bill. But I never received any "normal" bills from the doctor. So, thanks for that. I specifically asked if there would be a bill from the doctor when I was dealing with the incompetent billing department and they said no. It seems they had my address wrong (which I then corrected) and I guess they sent bills to an address that doesn't exist. I hate this facility so much! No one should have to deal with this madness. Are you going to send me another bill 9 months from now??? read more

Never again. I walked into the clinic for 10 minutes due to a bad cough, walked out with a prescription for some antibiotics. Three months later I have received a couple bills of more than $1000 which my insurance is not going to cover but a small portion and the rest out of pocket, although the front desk girl told me it was going to be $100 out-of-pocket for co-pay and that should be it. And when I called to ask about the bill no one wants to talk to me about it and everybody blames the other player. Wonder why a typical in and out visit to your doctor that would cost you $30 should cost over 1000 at an ER when you were told it was only going to be $100 co-pay. Highway robbery is the best term for these guys which is very unfortunate. read more

I was recently induced at cedar park Regional Emergency Center and my experience was over all amazing. The staff was as attentive as they could be with a full floor of babies and other new mothers in need. Lisa, Kat, and Deb were just a few of the nurses who stuck out making me feel as if it was their personal mission to make me comfortable. The labor rooms are nice and comfortable. The rooms they move you to after are a little smaller but they are just as cozy for all the recovery needs. read more

looked everywhere since its Christmas And could not find any urgent care open. I was referred to this facility by my mom and since they weren't answering the phone my mom decided to drive by it as she lives close to see if it was open. I was excited for it to be open as I live in Georgetown and was the only place open that I could find and am very ill. when I arrived there was no receptionist or any patients waiting . There was a bell button at the front that said to press if no one is up in 2 minutes. After no one came for 30 minutes I walked out to where i Had seen a gentleman waiting and asked if I was at the right place or if they were even open. He told me I needed to bang,kick doors or cuss to get someone's attention. When i saw a staff member walk by I tried waving them down they looked at me and walked away I decided to wait a little longer to see if someone would come up front. When they did not I knocked on the door to catch the staff member who ignored me the first time. when I let him know theres no one upfront and before I could finish he laughed at me and said it's going to be a while and walked away. After that I left as I did not want to be treated by someone who doesn't care to give me the time of day. I didn't mind waiting as I expected to be waiting for 2+ hours as I have many times at other urgent care. Would not recommend if you have an emergency. Disappointed as this is an emergency center. read more

This place is awful. I had major tooth pain and the nurses and doctor on call were just laughing in another room while listening to something on their phone. I would never visit this place again. Really disappointed this is close us, I sent my daughter for my piece of mind and hers. They treated her like she wasn't sick enough to be there and wasting their time. Horrible experience. Our 2 year old son had a laceration above his knee. We took him in and the doctor looked and it and put some glue on it. In and out in 20 minutes. The next day we noticed a lot of blood and the glue did not hold, we called and they said there is nothing they can do. My son now has a horrible scar. We just received the bill for over $1200. The bill says we spent 2 days in the ER. We we there 20 minutes, Dr fixed nothing and charged $1200. Needless to say, no one is willing to help on phone either. Choose ARC or Baylor Scott and White. read more
