Was told they could take me as a walk in, showed up 7mins from that call and was turned away. Went back first thing the next morning. They withheld information until documents are signed then they give you the information print outs. Did not disclose extra costs for each step, after being told the price paid up front would cover everything for that particular visit. Went from $160 up to $350 after addition bills mailed to me. Gave me a prescription and was told to take it until I heard back, once I heard back they told me I didn't need that prescription but wouldn't give me any answers as to what I did need. Since this is an urgent care, I thought service would be faster. I booked an appointment online and filled out all the paperwork before I arrived on-site. Turns out, setting an appointment only marks your place in line. There were 3 people in front of me when I arrived, before my scheduled time. The lobby doesn't have much seating; I counted a total of 12. They had two TVs but only one was turned on. The receptionist and nurse didn't seem like there was a sense of urgency; it felt more like a glorified doctor's office. I'm not sure if the doctor here is any more qualified than a primary care physician. I think I'll stick it out with a PCP next time. read more

I have used this facility multiple times for a both illness and injuries and have been extremely pleased with the care I received.

I've been to other Urgent Cares in the area where their appointment system seems to be efficient but still leaves me waiting when they send me the ready message. NextCare wasn't like that at all. I checked for an available time. I showed up a few minutes early before to handle some paperwork and my wait in the office chair before being seen stayed within minutes of my original appointment time. My intake was fast and got seen quickly. I had to get an X-ray and got that done in house. My issue turned out to be outside of their scope but they squared me away with their notes, the X-ray imagery and put in some prescriptions for me. All in all, I was in and out in about 2 hours. read more

Absolute worst! I would give 0 stars if I could. After signing in and waiting for more than an hour, I received zero care. The doctor told me that they are not equipped to run tests or diagnostics for my symptoms and therefore see ER if needed. They were supposed to follow up with a specialist referral, which they never did. I had a copay of $50 and on top of that, I received a bill asking to pay $250 for that visit. Doesn't seem to know what insurance they're contracted with. I have Aetna CVS Health, which lists them as in network. The office states they do not accept my plan. I contacted Aetna, they confirmed that they are listed as being in network. The Aetna rep reached out to NextCare, and the person the Aetna rep spoke with claimed they do not accept "several" Aetna plans. The Aetna rep stated the person she spoke with gave the name of the manager who had told her to deny Aetna CVS members (Pedro). If you're going to pick and choose what plans to take, maybe you should let the insurance provider know. read more

Apparently, my review is just a reiteration of dozens I have already read. From what I can surmise, there is usually a response from NextCare stating that customer service is very important, however considering some of the reviews are already several years old, I have little confidence that any changes are coming. Here it goes: 1) What is the point of making an appt if it takes a ridiculous amount of time to be seen? 2) Bathroom in waiting room had not been cleaned recently. Pretty gross. 3) Fairly apathetic front desk gal. 4) Still amazed at all the mask wearing. Whatever. 5) Uninviting waiting area. I'm very familiar with it now. 6) Did I mention the wait? Now at 1 hour, 25 min. At least I'm in a room, but apparently there are still multiple people in front of me that haven't been seen. 7) I started with 1 star on this review, but because the doctor (Roberts) was kind and listened, he gets an extra star. 8) This was, for the most part, a very poor experience. Made an appt for an urgent situation. My son cut his finger when he accidentally broke a glass. Got a ton of attitude when we got here. Waiting room was empty. Still had to wait forever. I went in for a persistent migraine and was able to check in from my phone and wait in the car to be seen, which I appreciated considering my symptoms. The wait time was a little long, but it seemed more like a staffing issue than anything to do with the staff that was working. Everyone was kind, compassionate, observant and quick. I felt confident in the treatment that was provided to me and was given clear instructions for aftercare. We will be back in the event that we need an urgent care provider in the future. read more

Sitting in waiting room for over two hours for a scheduled x ray!! They literally knew I was here and waiting and called 5 WALK INS BEFORE ME. I asked if they knew I was still waiting and was told yes. No explanation no apology. The absolute worst service anyone can receive. The actual x ray tech was super nice and understanding and she alone made me feel better. The front desk people were the most unhelpful disrespectful hateful creatures to ever put on scrubs. Wish I could give zero stars. I called their customer service line (on hold over an hour) to see about walk-in Covid testing appointments and they confirmed there were some available at this site. I need to take a test TODAY, not make an appointment later in the week. Can't go to a store to buy a test (sold out everywhere, delivery times are weeks away.) Drove across town to go there, I arrive, and enter the EMPTY waiting room. The lady tells me they have no slots and that I should've called ahead (I did), then says their customer service people don't have up to date info always (and the guy I called checked appointments to see if they did. I wouldn't have left my house if they didn't). I would've understood having zero slots if there were a single other patient there...so her claim about slots was garbage. If you're keeping track: -information quality from this business is not reliable at all. Don't trust a company where the customer service and site representatives give you opposite information -They turn away patients needing medical attention arbitrarily; as a result- I will NEVER give them business (you shouldn't either). I wonder what the hippocratic oath says about turning away patients in need... -Site representative was disingenuous and only wanted me out of the room, didn't try to find a solution when it seemed like there were many (help me find another site, ask her managers to fit me in, anything except "sorry, try calling and making an appointment for later in the week."- when I had established the immediacy of my needs to her already- proves she wasn't listening.) Just a terrible experience to have in my moment of greatest need. Start to finish, including time on hold with them, I had ~3hrs of my time wasted today and am no closer to getting covid tested. So I made an appointment to be seen because when I called they said walk ins would have to wait behind appointments. I get here and 4 walk ins went in before me. (I can see on the Solv app who is walk-in or appt) My appointment was at 230p I got here at 210p to check in ...it's now 4p and all these walk in's have gone in before me. Terrible experience. I spoke to a receiptionist named Maggie at the Cedar Park TX location. She gave me information about the Covid 19 testing that differed from the information on your site, then refused to allow me to speak to anyone else, stating that ALL employees in the building except herself were with patients. Called the Anderson Mill location. I had a similar experience. I was told by the representative she didn't think my insurance was accepted, and would not verify, simply stating that the company is a private ER and therefore doesn't have to, recommending I go elsewhere. Absolute garbage customer service and clinic manager that is inefficient and dismissive. Took my son in for x-rays only to wait for hours with no one else there. We were told the xray machine is on the fritz and taking awhile to load up the images. we finally gave up waiting and asked for the disk and a follow-up call. Once we took the disk to an orthopedist, the images belonged to someone else with another individual's name. We paid $200 for this visit so naturally I called to inform them of the mistake. I was then called back by the front desk who nonchalantly said that the clinic manager wouldn't speak to me or issue a refund and "that was that". no apology, no interest in who's images they gave me, just dismissed me like I was nothing. stay away! read more

My husband went to your Cedar Park facility. They told him that he had COVID and really didn't offer much information, treatment, etc. I had to take him to the hospital later that night because of pain in his chest that the NextCare PA ignored. He was admitted for pneumonia! BTW, he tested negative for COVID there. What a waste of time and money going to your facility! Furthermore, I called to speak to the office manager yesterday morning; however, she never bothered to return my call. So disappointing at the lack of professionalism involved with management as well. read more

Waited for three hours to take a drug test that took less than five minutes to complete. The receptionist, DC, was incredibly rude from the moment I arrived and argued about the paperwork I brought in. She let a man who came in asking about a COVID test stand in the waiting room with other patients instead of insisting he wait in his car (as the signs on their windows state). Why must I have the foresight to plan out this time more than a week in advance just for the appointment to not be kept by the clinic? Thankful for this Urgent Care Location! So close to my house. It's not only convenience that I love though. They are quick and wait times are short; but when you are in the patient room, you don't feel rushed. I always feel loved and cared for. Specifically today came in with the fear of having strep, Romal Patel let me know I didn't but could still tell I was nervous about it so she kept my peace of mind and did tests anyways. All of my questions were answered fully, and I felt like the staff really felt for my discomfort (the flu is unpleasant!) This is officially my new go to walk in clinic. After dealing with insurance companies on and off the last few years I've learned my lesson. Call insurance company first to find a place in network and find out how much you will be expected to pay. I did that and they recommended NextCare and told me I had no copay. I went in and no line at 2pm on a Thursday. There was some confusion at the front desk since I don't have a copay but the front desk lady was very nice and spoke to my insurance company who confirmed that the visit was covered at 100%. It took about 20 minutes to get back and see a PA. 30 more minutes waiting for the Xray tech and 90 minutes waiting for a radiologist to read the film. The synopsis was no break seen. All of this would have been okay and expected for going to urgent care. Today I got a bill for $350 for a thumb stabilizer. A thumb stabilizer that I could have gotten at Walmart for less than $20 (I checked). I would highly recommend asking questions about the fees at every step of the visit. They initially told me there was no way I didn't have a copay and that everyone had to pay a minimum of $100. I would have paid it if I hadn't just spoken to the ins company. read more

I'm being a bit generous with the three stars. The only reason it's not a 2 is I liked the doctor. The front desk went round and round with me about insurance. I have NO copays on my plan, no deductibles and no out of pocket expenses. They kept insisting I pay a $75 copay, even though my insurance card said $0 for urgent care. I was so sick and didn't want to stand there and argue. Finally talked to someone from their corporate office who "let" me go in without a copay. Gee thanks. The bathroom was not clean where I had to leave a urine sample, and I got a nice look at the male nurse's butt crack when he bent over to grab something off the floor. But like I said, the doc was nice. I'll probably go back since it's close to my house. Hopefully the nurse will have bought some better pants by then. read more

Do NOT go to Nextcare for anything workers comp related. I was sent there with a torn calf muscle that happened while working. I hopped in with the help of my kid. I They then referred me to an orthopedic specialist and physical therapy. I wasn't given crutches or anything. It was nearly two weeks before the referral was processed and I could get into the ortho/PT. Being as the specialist said a muscle tear is worse than broken bones, I'd be out of work for a good amount of time and it's the right leg so no way of driving in the boot. Meanwhile, Nextcare whom is the "treating doctor" or coordinator if you will, sends my WC insurance a report saying I CAN drive and I CAN work. All compensatory payments have been withheld from me because the Nextcare dr. said I can work so it must be my decision not to. I couldn't bear weight until week 5 in a boot. When questioned about their reports superseding the specialists directives they respond "its against our policy to say a patient can't work, it's up to the employer". So: 1. The employer is the medical professional? 2. Why send to specialist if their directives aren't considered? 3. Why send patient to physical therapy prior to orthopedist? 4. So I get terminated because I "choose" not to work a highly physical job when I can barely walk my driveway? read more

Update: we didn't have the greatest experience here today. Didn't even end up getting seen. I needed to bring 2 of my children in to rule out an ear infection. When we were called up after checked in the front desk staff said my children were inactive. Which is odd because one of my children was just seen at another doctor and had xrays yesterday. They USED to have a different division of their insurance but it switched to a different one, same carrier. It was odd. I called the insurance and they confirmed they were indeed ACTIVE. I advised the front desk staff that I was on the phone with the rep. The rep said that they could give a verbal confirmation but they could not fax because of HIPAA. The front desk staff said they weren't allowed to speak with the rep and gave this face of "yeah right" when the rep said she can't fax anything. I work in the medical field. I'm familiar with all of this. I asked to speak to an office manager so she called them on the phone and proceeded to have a conversation about it. Like dude just come out and speak with me! You make your patients feel like idiots when there is a conversation going on right in front of you. There was no definitive answers just sort of a ‍ feeling so I said I would go to a different UCC. I've had previous decent experiences here but this was a headache. While it is further I'll probably go to the kids urgent care from now on. It just took this one incident. Update from update: Two issues. The solvhealthdotcom website sucks. It glitches. I'll make an appt for one kid and next thing I know the other kid has the appointment. I think the front office girl was checking verification there because when I attempted to enter my sons DOB I would enter one thing and it would come up as a completely different DOB. THE THING IS JACKED UP! So I gave up. Anyways, I called the kids urgent care and explained the situation and they said they typically verify eligibility by phone so it shouldn't be a problem. When we got there, guess what? There wasn't ANY problem. Easy visit, great doctors. It's a little further but worth it. The girl at Next Care needs more training. read more
