Food is served cafeteria style on 1st floor. We enjoy the battered shrimp (6), chicken drumsticks ( 2) and battered fish plank entrees. The steak is too well done for our liking. Chicken tenders are great to be family friendly 3 large tenders as entree but not our thing. We generally don't eat fries as they dont retain any temperature. The cheesy potato is not bad if warm. The roll is good. I enjoy the salads (fruit, side or cuke). You can get 3 sides instead of an entree and side with the meal plan. Dining here has a great view from 2nd floor...you can get breakfast sandwich with tater tots before 11am opens 845 am with dining plan and changes to nachos at 11 am. Nice place to eat inside and have a little AC or get out of any weather...also great bathrooms on 2nd floor. read more

Funnel cake shrimp and cheesy potatoes, yum. It sounds weird, and I was very hesitant, but we had the all day dining, so I figured if it was gross I'd just try something else in 90 minutes. Think of coconut shrimp, that's sweet but still delicious, it's like that, but without the shredded coconut getting stuck in your teeth, lol. This was a nice light batter with just enough sweetness to not make it weird. We weren't impressed with the steak or tropical rice. The rolls were SO good. The space is pretty enough, and clean which is more important. The elevator was out of service and the only restrooms were upstairs, so that was a little annoying. The seating areas could have definitely been kept cooler. This location also serves breakfast, but only upstairs with no signage that I could see...we walked in confused upon seeing the food line empty...a guest who had finished breakfast was heading out and saw us looking baffled and informed us that the breakfast was just upstairs. The choices for breakfast were limited, an egg and ham sandwich on an English muffin with tater tots or a hot honey chicken biscuit, we shared both and all agreed the chicken was processed and kind of gross. The English muffin sandwich was actually really good and I'm not a fan of English muffins, I'm team biscuit all the way..except here, lol I will go again for the shrimp and potatoes. (We did the shrimp two days in a row already and I was wanting it again today!) read more

Just seeing this place for the first time. I image it must be newer within the last few years. Came here during Hallow Weekends. It was the most incredibly busy weekend and the lines were intense, but not here. This place was perfect for a reprieve! The building looks like it came from Breakers Hotel. So nice and inviting. They have clean restrooms on the top floor that were not too busy, which is a good tip. They also had an amazing bar on the top floor playing all of the games. The bar menu looked so enticing. The bar tenders were very friendly. I needed water and they had study cups. It also looked like they were very attentive to the cocktails, they looked well made. Upstairs they also had balconies to see the water and a place to purchase nachos. The downstairs part was a cafeteria style line restaurant that reminded me of Frankenmuth MI. They had very high quality food, like chicken, shrimp, red skin potatoes, bisque, carved meat, and sandwiches. My child got drum sticks, a roll, and some red potatoes. While it was not cheap, it was high quality, delicious, and the chicken fell off the bone. There was plenty of seating and it was kept very clean. Other people in our party got the shrimp, it looked so good, steak fries, and the bisque. All of the food was devoured. For sure I would love to return to this place. It is worth eating here, and I know my child will be talking about it for months, it was very yummy. read more

This is the newest of all the restaurants at Cedar Point and, in my opinion, it is also the best. For my first time here, I had the Funnel Cake Fried Shrimp with the Syracuse Salt Potatoes and a roll. The second time, we went upstairs for the nachos. I enjoyed both, but out of the two, the Funnel Cake Fried Shrimp was my favorite here. Also, the waterside location really enchances the experience at this restaurant, as, if you go upstairs to eat your food, you get to eat while watching a relaxing view of the beach and Lake Erie. Of course it's a little expensive because you're in an amusement park, but if you're going to eat in Cedar Point, this is one of the best places to have a meal. read more

The pavilion is so beautiful and spacious. Even as we waited in line for food, we felt like we had more room than in other food queues. We took our food upstairs to eat and enjoyed the view of the lake. We sat near the bar, and the drink menu was extensive and had fun options. The breakfast was absolutely amazing!!! We ordered the egg, ham and cheese sandwich with aioli sauce. This was so filling and good. The staff was very kind and made sure the coffee was hot. Great service, friendly staff, GOOD food! Look. Amusement park food is typically pretty lame. Let's be honest. But CP's food game has gotten much better over the past few years. And the Grand Pavilion is serving up honey/garlic chicken legs and julienne gratin potatoes that rival any restaurant! Having Gold Passes and a meal plan has allowed my family and I to eat there frequently this summer. We have had 12 meals there and it has been very consistently good. The nacho bar is also pretty good. Full disclosure.: I have not yet tried the fish, steak or most of the sides. The tropical rice is fine. Nothing special. Air conditioning when it's hot out as nice, but that view upstairs is where it's at when the weather permits. read more

Grand Pavilion is a beautiful building located in the Cedar Point amusement park. Right on the lake with beautiful views! It's mostly self service once you go through the line for your food. The food was a 1 . If you want just ice water, they give you a 6 oz. Clear cup so be prepared to make multiple trips. With that being said, there was no where in the park that had great food, except for the pizza place at the front of the park and of course Starbucks! We bought the meal plan with our passes and it was a waste of money with the food being so bad. read more

New dining option opened in 2023 at Cedar Point is the main attraction of the boardwalk. I don't drink so I can't speak to the bar but the food is delicious and the building is beautiful with fantastic views of Lake Erie. It's cafeteria style with a large selection of entrees, sides and desserts. I got the fried fish and it was cooked perfectly. My group also tried the funnel cake fried shrimp which was good but kind of weird, chicken drumsticks were good, and the sirloin steak was cooked well but very peppery. Your all day dining passes work here as well. There's indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of staff cleaning up and keeping things in order. If you're not seated looking at the lake there's nice views of the park. read more

The Grand Pavilion is awful. The price is as you'd expect inside the park, too high. But, that's understandable. The terrible food isn't. For $22, it should taste good and it doesn't. I ordered the teriyaki glazed steak with fried rice. The steak was barely ok. The rice had little flavor and was undercooked. The dining room is very plain and the lake can't be seen while seated on the 1st floor. Why waste the view with windows too high for viewing the lake while seated? Also, the tables aren't cleaned very often. I shouldn't have towipe off someone else food before I sit down. I think you'd be better off getting fast food somewhere else in the park. read more

Let's be honest. Cedar Point overall is good. But, not great. I have been a season pass holder since 2010. Their are better managed parks out there. One of the things that was the most irritating to me for the last 30 years was the fact that Cedar Point has done a horrible job at capitalizing on their lake side views and location. UNTIL NOW!! This Grand Pavilion is beautiful and awesome. 2 story, roomy, good food choices, nice bathrooms, cool bar. All with a Mackinac Islandish vibe. I'm talkin' Christopher Reeves Somewhere in Time type stuff. The pavilion is cool in the sense that it's a loungey, bar atmosphere that I have been waiting for!! If I want to go ride some coasters, I go ride some coasters. Then grab one of these awesome frozen alcoholic booze drinks and grab some sun. Then if I want another roller coaster, I head back at it.
