I would like to say our social worker is wonderful she comes around every morning to see how we're doing and making sure all our needs are taken care of great job ( BARRY) her smile will make anyone's day I recommend this place to anyone. There has been a few management changes in the past, but the one's running the building now are exceptional; they care, they go to great lengths to do their job well, and at the end of the day consider themselves as family. The staff members are a unique and diverse group of people from around the world, few are not perfect, but the ones that do care a lot for these residents are shining examples to follow. The residents are just as unique & charismatic in their own rights from social butterflies to reclusive turtles, they all for the majority live in harmony.

My father arrived at Aria Memory Care in April 2015. He has been struggling with Parkinson's and…read morewas in the beginning stages of Alzheimer and Dementia. He was also recovering from a broken hip and was using a walker. Aria had the safest facilities for my father to move around. The common areas have wood floors and less clutter than other communities. I felt my father was safe. My father enjoyed being able to enjoy the out side on his own with access to their courtyard. Not all communities are set up where your loved ones can enjoy outdoors when they want to. The Facility Manager was very helpful in helping set up my fathers room as well as hanging pictures. Since my father was an engineer, the Facilities Manager took the time to have many great conversations with my father. It is great that Aria is dedicated to Memory Care. They know how to take care of all levels. The separation of cognitive and non cognitive guests is priceless. My father was able to have conversations with other guests with similar challenges. Having a loved one in a home is all ways difficult but when you arrive at Aria you really do not feel you are in a nursing home. It helped me when I was visiting my father. Last but not least the Executive Director Ceri Mackenzie is there for you and your loved ones 24 hours. I have seen this first hand. She was there for helping me manage my fathers needs. Her experience and knowledge comes in handy as anything can happen any time when you are taking care of our elders. The team reacts positively to Ceri's experience and enthusiasm. To sum it up, Aria is a gem in senior community. It offers clean, safe, easy to navigate common area floor plan, spacious individual units and a lovely courtyard to enhance for my father's daily experience. Mostly importantly, the team members are friendly, caring and do not hesitate to come to aide whenever the unexpected need rises. My father actually thrived and showed improvement in matter of weeks under their care. . I have had other family members in Brookdale, Sunrise and, and Emeritus. Aria Memory Care is superior above all other communities. I would recommend Aria to any of my close friends and family.

Our Mom was my Dad's primary caregiver prior to her unexpected death so this transition has been very difficult. I chose Aria because the staff were all very caring friendly, the facility is very clean and modern, and the apartment/room was a nice size and well laid out to match, as closely as possible, my Dad's bedroom at home. My Dad has only been there 2 months but I still feel very confident I have made the right decision with Aria. Ceri Mackenzie is the medical director and she is very patient with the family and also with our Dad. She is knowledgeable and shares that knowledge to make us more comfortable with the transition. The nursing staff and aides have all been very friendly to Dad - especially Kristin, Melissa, Brandon and Jeannette - but they have all been wonderful.

Throughout each stage, the staff at The Delaney took excellent care of my mom. She was at the highest level of care in assisted living, and shortly after moving to memory care, she needed hospice care. The Delaney staff who cared for her along with the hospice staff during her final week were more than caring--they made sure her needs were met while treating her with compassion, dignity, and respect. I especially want to recognize Bobbie, the med tech, who gently stroked my mom's hair after administering her medication, and Charles, who took the utmost care when assisting Mom. Those thoughtful gestures meant so much to our family. We also recently held my mom's memorial service at The Delaney, and one of the staff members, Rob Sterk, provided a Christian service for our family. That was truly a step above and beyond, and it meant so much to us. We wanted a place where our parents could age in place, and that is exactly what The Delaney provided. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in a safe environment with engaging activities and caring support. We are grateful for the care, kindness, and respect shown to our family.

We recently had to find a place for our dad after he was diagnosed with cancer. We had a great…read morevisit with Silver Leaf and chose them. We were there a lot. A lot of people in and out to visit and hospice was there almost every day. They were so welcoming and accommodating and kind with everyone. More important was the incredible care they gave our dad. They couldn't have treated him with more attention, love, and skilled care. They consistently reported back to us how things were going in detail and were in lock-step with hospice. We felt so relieved to have him in such a wonderful place. And, it is clean, has a large parking area... a very comforting and homey feel.

This place is the absolute worst. They actually had some good employees and they fired them. Some…read moreof the people there were wonderful, but they are managed by Spring Hills and they only care about the bottom dollar. On many occasions they did not give my father his medication. They did not shower him as often as they said they would. His skin was always in horrible shape. My mother and I were there every other day, sometimes more and I think that's the only reason he got the level of care that he did. They never shaved him. They were understaffed all the time. They don't pour the water to them, so that was the start of my father's decline. When I confronted the asst manager about seeing my father's medical records after his death...it miraculously took 2 hours for him to produce that. We were told by a woman we trusted that the man was in the back editing it to show he had been given all his meds. The first huge red flag was they didn't give Jim his meds the first night there and my mother and I sat in the lobby for an hour trying to get someone to help us get dad his medication. Please don't go to this place or any Spring Hill facility, they don't care about your loved one, only the bottom dollar. You will constantly have staff turnover and never any answers! Oh, and the literal nail in my father's coffin... they didn't call me when they sent him out (his final ride on EMS) to the ER. A nurse that loves Dad texted me asking how he was and I said "I don't know, you're with him". She said "no they took him out last night". I asked where and THEY HAD NO RECORD OF WHICH HOSPITAL!!! So, my father with dementia was brought in with no medical records, no nothing and had been sitting not able to breath and on a CPAP for 8 hrs alone when I was only 30 minutes away! I got there as soon as I found out. We spent the next 30 hours at his beside with him as he died from pneumonia, sepsis, and a heart attack. And we never heard from the director of the facility so much as an "I'm sorry for your loss". We were told we would get our refund in 45 days... it was 4 months later. Awful humans.

The proposed solution was to hire private-pay nursing, around the clock, which increased care costs tremendously! Moving into Poet's Walk brought about an immediate improvement! The medical team is alert and engaged. Within days, a speech therapist identified swallowing problems and made recommendations to modify her diet. Physical therapists identified diminished core strength and adjusted her care plan accordingly. The nursing team is alert and engaged, bringing us peace and lifting tremendous worry! Gibran Chambers is a "hands-on" Executive Director and he can be seen interacting with both residents and staff throughout the facility! Marvin Smith, Lauren Urbanek, and Kelsey Lang are the reasons we selected Poet's Walk--they responded correctly to the myriad of questions we asked. Further, they went above-and-beyond, working long hours to insure a comfortable and joyful transition between facilities. We can't say enough good things about our experience!

My…read morefather told the sales associate that we were just looking but at the end of the tour he said we are ready to move in. All staff were very welcoming and smiling. The place is very clean and bright with a very pleasant dining area. My parents love the food, staff and the onsite physical therapy with great therapist. The activities director is very involved and a great encouragement to residents. The quality of care is wonderful and we recommend this place.
