If you value your time or basic respect, look elsewhere. Baylor, Scott & White requires you to…read moreschedule appointments months in advance, but then like clockwork they'll call two weeks before to reschedule. It's incredibly frustrating and completely defeats the purpose of planning ahead. Even when you do manage to make it to an appointment, be prepared to sit in their waiting room for 20+ minutes surrounded by people on their phones on speaker, with no staff attempting to create a comfortable or professional environment. The final straw for me was during my annual physical. I asked a straightforward question about HRT, and my doctor actually snapped at me, saying: "I don't do well woman appointments." Completely unprofessional and genuinely shocking to hear from someone who is supposed to be providing care. This place is disorganized, dismissive, and absolutely not worth the stress. I'll be taking my healthcare elsewhere.

My PCM will not prescribe some of the medications that I have used for years! I had to take migraine medicine that had been expired for 4 years the last time I had a migraine. There are many other issues that would take allot of time to discuss, but I would foremost like to warn everyone that BSW's employee time is much more important than your time.

I will say depending on who your caregiver is makes a difference in the ER here…read more I did not care for the professionalism of my sonographer (ultrasound tech). Rude comments like "wait til I leave them room because I don't want to see all of that". However, P.A. Sandy has the most incredible bedside manner. Very knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. The ER is always crowded but they really do try their best to make sure you're somewhat comfortable, offering warm blankets and checking in on you and even popping in to give feedback on wait times and labs.

TW- blood and injuries…read more Negligent care led to my father's fall and head injury, if I could give negative five stars, I would. We brought my father to Cedar Park Regional Medical Center in early October 2025 for severe dizziness and ear pain (he was later diagnosed with a severe brain abscess in February 2026). He could barely stand without falling. After check-in, he was left alone on a hard bed for over five hours with no food, water, or nurse check-ins. A nurse named Morgan did not put up the bed rails. While sleeping, my father rolled off the bed and hit his head hard on the tile floor. He had a visible bump, a bloody nose that appeared shifted to the left, and blood on his pants and the floor. When we called for help, Morgan gave us attitude and offered only a wet paper towel. She did not provide any pain medication, not even ibuprofen or Tylenol. My mom had to do most of the cleanup. They eventually took him for a CT scan and said nothing was wrong. Hours later, the doctor came in, said "you're really sick," and referred us to an ENT. No apology, no acknowledgment that their staff's failure to provide basic safety precautions caused the fall. When we were ready to leave, my father could not walk on his own. We asked for a wheelchair, but they denied it. " If he can't walk out of here by himself then he needs to stay" they said with so much attitude. My mom and I had to physically carry him out of the hospital ourselves. This place is dangerous for anyone who can't fully care for themselves. My father was more injured after leaving than when he arrived. If I could give this place negative five stars, I absolutely would. Please take your family elsewhere. I recommend round rock medical center which is where he got the proper care that he needed after he fell another time in February, hit his head and ended up having multiple seizures. Which then led to him getting multiple brain surgeries and traumatizing our family for life. He is luckily okay now which is a MIRACLE in itself. We talked to a multitude of doctors at the actual hospital where he got his treatment and they said that this place is not a good place and that they had worked here before and that they neglect their patients. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!! ( I would include more photos, but they are pretty graphic. Cedar park regional medical center is a horrible place)

Honestly, I'm so glad I made the longer drive, it was completely worth it. When I got there, there were just a couple of people already checked in and waiting. It took about 30 minutes before I was called back to triage. After answering a few questions and talking briefly with a doctor, they explained there weren't any open beds yet, so I'd need to wait until someone came to get me for a CT scan. That wait was around 45 minutes, and after the scan, they had a bed ready for me in the ER. After some bloodwork and a few hours, I was admitted to the hospital and stayed for two nights. Everyone I interacted with was professional, kind, and really seemed to care. Big kudos to Yanci and Terri for being superstar nurses! Also, the hospital is so clean, which is very important to me. Although having to sit in the waiting room for a bed to open up while in pain was frustrating, I received great care from start to finish, and I'm really glad I decided to go out of my way to come to this location. I'd definitely come back here if I ever need care again.

His condition worsened each day on the ventilator and we had to make the difficult decision to remove his breathing tubes and take him off life support. It was the hardest decision of our lives but everyone's compassion and kindness made it bearable. My family cannot thank the staff enough for the level of empathy they shared, especially our day nurse James. Truly incredible group of ICU nurses and grateful to know there are such great physicians out there making a difference in the lives of their patients and families.
