The "rewards" on supposedly saving on gas is a shame. This station stole fifty cents a gallon. Their staff are not properly trained, resulting in her voiding the sale and my points. No receipts at the pump and I would hate to ask the undertrained staff to attempt to print a receipt. I recommend staying away from this Shell station as well as all Rally Stop locations. read more

It's the gift that keeps on giving. This place has time and time again been a saving Grace for my family and I. You know what they say, would you not feed your body if you were hungry? The answer no which means you should always feed your car with the best gas in town. You never realize how much you appreciate gasoline until you really need it. The other day my daughter's boyfriend, Loies, was coming over to pick her up for one of their weekly dates. He just got his permit so he still getting himself comfortable behind the wheel. My wife and I both agreed that we will let her get in the car with him because we know he drives 10-2 and we also know that practice always makes perfect. Our daughter, Argaret, was getting ready for her date. She sometimes forgets where we lives and dresses like it's 90 degrees outside! This time specifically, she walked downstairs and was wearing these Fugg boots with a pencil skirt and bikini top. My eye immediately shut up and I started to say some of the worse words possible. My daughter and wife knew I was in the middle of a little temper tornado (as they call 'em) and just let me do my thing. Sometimes that's all you need. When I finally calmed down, Arg, got a call from her boyfriend. It was the news we all anticipate is coming but never thought it was coming that night. He was stuck on the side of the highway with no more gas. I am such a protective father to my kids so I immediately took charge and spoke to him like a man does. I asked him why his brain didn't expect gas in the car and he said he didn't have any common sense that evening. I can relate as we all fall short in that area sometimes. He called his parents to help him but they were at a rave in LA so he was alone. My wife and I looked at each other and knew what had to be done. It was so unfortunate because we had just put in a nice roast beef in the oven that was going to be ready any minute now but sometimes when you make plans, God laughs. My neighbor, Yan, owns a fantastic toe company so we asked for his assistance that evening. He was able to pick up Loies and bring him to shell to fill up his vehicle. His car only takes 87 and they had great inventory of it that night. Make sure you cover your PIN number when you enter it, you just never know. read more

I get a little obsessed about "making good time" when I'm on a road trip. So little things, like the location of a gas station, make a big difference to me when it comes to shaving off those precious seconds. I can appreciate this Shell, first and foremost, for its location. When you get off of the freeway, it's only a few blocks in on 200 N and it's on the south side of the road. That's a right turn, and it's a quick stop. Especially if your bladder is a-burstin'. There's also something to be said for the convenience of stopping for food and gas and bathroom at the same break. Even more time saved. So I was also okay with the big ol' cooler section with drinks, the large assortment of snacks, and the fact that a Subway is attached. I don't love Subway (it's a long story about having them every day in college and also about the fact that there are so many excellent sandwiches in this world but none are from Subway) but in the name of making good time, it's a viable option. That was the protocol: fill up with gas, go inside and order a sandwich, get to the bathroom, buy some dill pickle sunflower seeds (a fella has to stay awake and sunflower seeds are magic for this) and get back on the road. I accomplished it in 12 minutes. The whole stop from freeway exit to freeway entrance was less than 20. I measure these things. It's a big deal to me when I travel solo and get all George Costanza. Obviously, if you're looking for better food and better prices on gasoline, you'd be best served to head further into town. And for the locals, I'm not sure how much of this stretch of 200 N is really your jam. I used to frequent the Wendy's nearby and they never once got my order correctly. But you can get away with that when its people traveling the freeway. Shell did me right. It's all about convenience and not love or passion or preference, but for convenience on a road trip, it's tops. read more

Very clean and spacious with good item selection. Bathrooms are also maintained and cleaned well compared to most gas stations!

If I could give 0 I would. My family stopped at this station to fill up on our way home from Disneyland. 11 o'clock at night and the two incompetent employees there kept my 78 year old father waiting to use the restroom for over 20 minutes. When he said something to them the called him an as***le and a p*ick in front of other customers and ignored him. I hope their fathers are ashamed of the inconsiderate and disrespectful attitude toward the elderly. I will be contacting their corporate customer service, the store manager and their district manager. I have worked customer service for my entire life and I am sad to say it is people like that that ruin the whole industry. Do NOT support this type of attitude toward paying customers. read more
