No response they close at 5:00 called them at 4:39 to ask the status and they left me on hold for 15 to tell me they never started on it and that to come after they call me back. Decided to just get a ride there right after the call. Tire was fine when I took it off, inspected it and checked both outside and inside of the tire. suspected it was inside the tread but when I came back (not waiting for their call to come back) they told me there was a stab mark on the outside of tread just so happen to be where I would need to replace all set of tires. They replace 4 tires on our RV and didn't realize until we were in Arizona 30-days later and 3 days before Christmas that they put on 2-E load rated tires on one side (80 psi) and 2-D load tire on the other side (65 psi). Clearly you cannot trust anyone to do a good job these days. When we called them and asked for them to ship the 2 correct ones out-NO! They expected us to return. Not even a little rebate/refund. I trust the local shop to treat me with honesty and fairness. To my surprise and anger, for tires that are down the street at $129.00 and everywhere for under $130.00, I was charged $179.00, a difference of $40.00 per tire. They claimed it took them 3 hours to replace a s-belt (which should take no longer than 1-1.5 hr) I recommend calling any other local shops in the area, 4-5 other locations quoted me at half the price and said it was absurd that I paid $400+ for something that should be $150-200 at the most!!! UPDATE: I called the manager of the shop to see if he would investigate into whether it took 3 hours of labor to repair or less. He ended up cutting me off multiple times and yelling on the phone for over 10 minutes. Was extremely rude and condescending. Finally, I asked if there was someone higher up I could speak with that could help me resolve this issue. He immediately said he would call back and said he would create a new invoice. We got a $90 refund but the amount of stess, tension, and hassle is not worth the visit to this shop! read more

BEWARE IF YOU ARE A FEMALE! That knows nothing about cars like I do. First of all, if you expect good customer service, don't go to cejas. I had a tire replaced ones and two oil changes done here. I thought heir customer service was not good but not bad so I kept going just because it's so close to my house. They are just always in a hurry. I just got into a relationship with someone who happens to be a mechanic and he is now doing my oil changes. I drive a Toyota, and Apparently some Toyota's need a certain tool to remove the oil filter cap(not too sure if this is the right wording for it) which they clearly don't have because as he was doing my oil change today he noticed it was broken because instead of using the proper tool to remove it they used something else that damaged it. Their prices aren't bad but now I know why. I had to buy a new cap. read more

I dropped my car (2006 Mazda3) off at 8am today (Friday) and requested an oil change. The guy at the front said it'd be ready by noon but they'd give me a call when its ready. I was told to call them at 1pm if I hadn't heard anything. Four hours is a long time for something as simple as an oil change but I left it anyway and went home. Around noon I decided to give them a call to see if/when it'd be ready. They said 1:30pm-2pm. That's ridiculous. An oil change should not take 5-6 hours. At this point I had had enough. I walked back over there and asked for my keys. I arrived at 1:15 pm and they hadn't even STARTED changing the oil. They gave me my key back without hesitation, thank God, and I drove away. A well run tire shop - with normal problems. I like the place because it is family run - local and the guys are friendly and keep neat and clean shop. If the place is tidy I think they may be compulsive about doing things right - like quality and a very good job. I liked that they remembered who I was and I didn't have to fill out a bunch of papers to drop off my tire... just "come back tomorrow". That's how it was done in "the good old days". I've bought tires for my pickup truck there and I get them rotated as needed for free. They are great tires! I had a couple of trailer tires fixed because they lost air. Another tire store wouldn't work on the tires. The tires are 7 ply tires, they are very stiff and difficult to work with. The Ceja guys fixed the first one with no problem. The tire and rim had to be cleaned and a new valve core put in. The second one I brought in a week later. I waited a while and then I was told it was done and it was in the back of my truck. I took a look. I could see it was leaking air at the rim from the soap solution bubbles. I got one of the guy's attention and pointed this out and he took the tire back in to get it done right. I hung around another 30 minutes or so and an angry guy comes out with my tire and it now sported a new valve stem (I had requested that the first time - but it wasn't done) and it was not leaking air. I think this was the guy who was suppose to do it right the first time. He may have been reamed out for not getting the job done right the first time. Whatever - it finally got done right. My father had a tire store - tire work is not always so easy and getting good help can be a problem. It is a competitive business. Just keep both eyes open when you go in to get your work done and experience a tire shop that is just like the "good old days". read more

I had a terrible experience at another tire center (I don't want to name names). To sum up what happened at the other place, they claimed my one tire was un-repairable with the nail and they no longer sold the tire I purchased from them two months ago so I was going to have to buy two new tires again for the rear of my car so they would match... frustrated and feeling like they wanted to take advantage of me I asked for my car back and left. It was starting to seem like finding a good tire center was hopeless then... I FOUND CEJA! Called him up, he look one look at the tire and said he would fix it no problem, he then quoted me on two new tires for $100 cheaper then the other place! I brought my car to him the next morning and it was done by that afternoon. They had great customer service and have gained me as a new customer for sure! BEST ADVICE... LOOK FOR ANOTHER SERVICE CENTER!! I got a flat tire in Berkeley last week and took it to a Chevron Station to fix it. The Chevron Station didn't put the spare tire back into place correctly, and it started to drag on parts of the road on the way to my house. I drove to CEJA in Healdsburg, explained to them what was happening, told them that I tried fixing it myself by cranking it up but it didn't work, etc. So I asked them if they could fix it for me and the guy behind the counter said yes. They told me to leave the car there and I did. I waited outside for almost 3 hours in the cold until they called me to tell me that they looked at it, tried to crank the spare tire back up, but it didn't work, and that I needed to leave the car overnight so they can lower the spare tire completely and try to put it back the right way on the next day. He agreed that the spare tire is lower than normal but they're very busy at that time and couldn't fix it for me... They kept my car there for 3 hours and told me that they're too busy to fix it. I couldn't believe my ears. How long would it take to lower a spare tire and put it back? 3 hours just to look at it, and tell me exactly what I told them when I first came in...? That is non-sense!! That type of business tells me that their ability to manage a good customer service and a service operation is very low and risky. The "customer" can waste 3 hours of the day but they can't spend 15 minutes to solve the problem after having you there for 3 hours? He act like he was doing me a favor... That type of business practice is absolutely not acceptable. Big lack of respect with peoples time, common sense, and NO professionalism. TERRIBLE experience!!! read more

I really wanted to like these guys because my brother said they were good and prices were fair. However, I don't think I have ever been treated so rudely by an automotive company. I went in and asked for used tires because I rarely drive one of my cars. The man pretty much turned his back on me and helped another customer. A month later, a gave them another shot and called to ask them if they sold used tires. I was put on hold and when the man came back on the phone he was even more rude to me than my first visit. My suggestion is to hire someone at the front desk who has some customer service skills and or don't advertise that you sell used tires if you don't. read more

I was traveling from Northern CA when my front tire started making a noise that was not good, I pulled into Ceja in my rental car and asked if they could help, Javier was so kind and helpful. Within a few minutes he had the car up on the lift then took it out for a test drive. The news was not good and I was not able to drive the car the rest of the way to Sacramento Airport. He put together a quote so I could have it for the rental company, helped us get our luggage into his location, set us up in his waiting area and let us stay there for 4 hours while we waited for a toy truck. While we waited it was amazing to see the amount of business this organization does in a day. I can see why. They are super friendly, honest and Javier is always there engaging with whoever walks thru the doors. He keeps his business spotless and comfortable. This place blew me away. My husband and I have been going to Ceja's for years. They have always been very helpful and accommodating to our needs. The guys are always very nice. The tires they suggested for my Toyota 4Runner lasted for over 40,000 miles! And I drive on a mountain dirt road on a daily basis. This is the 2nd set of those tires, and I am hoping for another 40,000 miles. And whenever we need a tire fixed, they do it for free. FREE! You can't ask for more than that. I had a very good experience at Ceja. I had a slow leak due to a nail in my rear tire that had gotten much worst on a Saturday morning. After driving around to find an open shop, one was closed (even though the posted hours had indicated they were open on Saturdays and Big O was packed!)I found Ceja in the yellow pages, called them and bought the car in 30 minutes later. They fixed the tire in less than an hour! Ceja Tires has always been the best service and safe place to get tire work and any suspension work done. The negative reviews are by people that are either misinformed or just rude to the staff! People respond as they are treated! I do feel sorry for those that had a less than excellent experience with Ceja tire. I have used Ceja for about 16 years now. Between the ranch work and my personal vehicle repairs, they have always been top notch! I could bring in anything from a tractor tire to a small quad (off road) tire, and they repaired or replaced with no problem. I recommend Ceja to all my friends and family.
