Came here for the first time and it was really a great experience! Our Game Master, Kyle was excellent and ensured we knew all the mechanics of the game while being very entertaining at the same time. This place was SO much fun! We booked for Father's Day, and because there was still room in the booking, another group we did not know booked with us. We were hesitant to play with total strangers, but the rooms are such a blast you quickly are working together and celebrating over wins. The couple (I assume are the owners) are super kind and energetic. We played the Laser room, and though we've done a couple of escape rooms elsewhere, this was by far our favorite. My husband and I enjoy, trying out various escape rooms, and when we noticed this one, not far from home, we had to add it to our list. We have now been here twice, and enjoyed both experiences. The first time we went, we did their smaller two person Sherlock room. It was a linear room that was perfect for two sleuths. The second time we went, we did the larger diner room with family members visiting from out of town. The diner room is so very clever with lots of puzzles that people can be working on at the same time separately. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff is friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic! They also have party space available! Very well done! read more

Flow wasn't clear, clues were not intuitive or on theme (some didn't trigger even when correct), props were sloppy (missing pieces, items clearly meant to be glued down had old glue but weren't secure, etc.) setup was sloppy, single room game, inattentive game master. My daughter celebrated her 10th birthday with 4 friends and had the best time! The owners were so kind and even stepped in to help the girls during the game when they seemed stuck. We loved the party room! It was a large space that gave us plenty of room to put out the refreshments that we brought. Amazing and so much fun! We did the Sherlock escape room first and it was such a challenge and so much fun! We finished the room in 45 minutes but it was such a challenge! Then once we finished we decided to do another and did the thief room. It was just as much fun! A multi-room experience that kept you on your toes and it was so much fun! We've done about 18 or so escape rooms in at least 7 cities across America. We were excited when the Cross Timbers Gazette posted on facebook that one was opening in Highland Village. When we looked it up on Yelp! we were excited to support a local business owned and operated by a Veteran. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon hopeful that they would have a room available. The owners greeted us very warmly, asked us about our experience with escape rooms, and quickly recommended "The Experiment" for us. We went right in and had a great time exploring and discovering clues. There were only 3 of us and we have experience with escape rooms so we escaped with 9 minutes to go, but if this is your first experience, this one might be difficult. Talk to them and take their recommendations! We will be back to try their other 2 rooms. read more

We've done a handful of escape rooms now and this was one of our favorites! Staff was amazing and room was well thought out, some of the best brain teasers, very unique! Some rooms at other locations have become repetitive and you see the same set of locks and clues just shifted to fit the theme but the heist room had its own story and props and unique challenges. This was our first live escape room experience after doing box sets at home for a year. We did the Sherlock room. It was awesome!!! The owner is sooo nice and excited for first timers. At first, we felt a little dumb trying to get started, but he was very intuitive on the walkie guiding us with clues at just the right time. Once we got the ball rolling, it became easier and more fun. When we finished (with 6 minutes to spare!), he complimented how quick we were to get clues around the room and took pictures to celebrate our success. They wore their masks the entire time and thoroughly cleaned rooms after each use. Me and my work group were enthralled with the challenging rooms they devised.
