I left my first visit empowered, confident, and excited. There was no way that I wouldn't come back. But it's gone beyond just an awesome transformation makeover. Turns out Aejaie is also an experienced lifestyle coach, and has a network of awesome trans women and crossdressers whom I've made community with. Since my makeover, I've had my first night out with many in the club, have had makeover lessons, and have even had coaching sessions on how the woman in me can exist in the context of my life and my marriage (this has been huge!) Carla's is a great place to get prettied up, but it's also a great support system and community! I did my trial for my bridal shower and knew immediately I was in the right hands. She was so easy to talk to. We all know wedding hair and makeup takes a while, so it's nice to work with someone you can enjoy during that time. She was so nice, we had great conversation. On the wedding day, she took the two tiny little changes I wanted to make from the trial and executed them perfectly. I received so many compliments and the pictures turned out amazing! With HMU, you get what you pay for. I've learned that the hard way over the years being in other weddings. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny. I had a friend tell me that was the one thing she wished she had paid a little more for on her wedding day and I am so glad I didn't have that regret. I literally couldn't have been more pleased with every bit of the experience working with Chantelle, including the results. Highly, highly recommend.
