I've been coming here since 2019 to get my dog groomed. They always did a really great job until the past year. I'm unsure if it's because they're more busy now, but the attention to detail & quality has decreased. This last time, like everytime we go, I sent pictures ahead of my dog's grooming appointment (first pic). The picture is from a 2019 grooming appointment at this same place, and I asked them to replicate it. I received my dog back and he looks nothing like what was requested (second picture). I called and asked to speak with the owner. His explanation is that "she did her best", "she has 20 years of experience so she's a good groomer". I understand that it might not always look 100% like the picture. However, if the dog looks NOTHING like the picture, "she did her best, she has 20yrs of experience, so she's a good groomer" is not a satisfying answer and not going to cut it. I'm very disappointed at the haircut and the owner's response when asked about the level of service. As much as we liked this place, we won't be coming back. read more

Took my dog here to get groomed after I had a poor experience elsewhere. Very easy to book an appointment - they had availability within a couple days of my call. It's located in a nondescript strip mall on Hwy 6, and I actually missed finding it at first. I really appreciate the COVID precautions they are taking. Upon arrival, they will come up and get your dog and everyone is masked. I gave pretty straightforward directions. And they delivered. After being blocked for leaving a "negative review" which was originally 3 stars it will now be a one. Every customer isn't going to be satisfied, instead of trying to rectify the situation they block you from booking if you make a single complaint. To me that's very concerning and unprofessional. Especially if the complaint wasn't rude or disrespectful. Learn to take criticism instead of getting mad and blocking an unhappy customer, word of mouth is very powerful and you never know just who you're dealing with. There's no reason I should get bullied for leaving a negative review, it's part of business. Not one apology only anger because I took the time to express my concerns.a simple "sorry you experienced this" would be good professional at all. His exact words I kid you not "if you leave a bad review people are going to think my services are bad" ....isn't that the point of a review, to leave a truthful review of YOUR experience. This is an average score of the two times I've left my dog for boarding. The second time has unfortunately made me want to find another place. The first time, everything was amazing and the young man really was excited and had a warm spirit with my puppy. Even when I picked Champ up he was still wagging and playing with him. His food and water were always filled, toys and blanket in place. Every time I checked the cameras things were good. This last time however, there was another gentleman (not the owner) and he was not as friendly. I had to call and tell them to remove the harness from my dog because it was still on for whatever reason. I then had to send an email because when I looked on the camera his bowl didn't even have water. Fast forward to when I picked him up. His water bowl was empty again with food in it. So I'm wondering do they even change the bowl? Then I called on the day before saying to cancel his exit bath because I would have it done another time. I pick him up, low and behold they STILL gave him the bath and of course charged me for it. And then didn't give me any change, I had to ask for it. I brought in my own bowl with fresh water and my poor dog drank an entire liter of water before I even left because he was THAT thirsty, which further leads me to believe he wasn't given fresh water or any water at all. This will be my last time here. **Update: Notice the owner's comments because he is upset at my HONEST review. Such a lack of professionalism. I'm glad I found out sooner than later.** read more

The best groomer in Houston! I have a very feisty main coon mix cat and he hates to be brushed. I take him to a groomer every 4 months or so and until I found these guys it was a nightmare. They're very precise with the lion cut and haven't niped my cat (although my cat is on the chunky side). I always bring my dog here for a grooming for 2 years. This is the first time that I got him back with a red eye, his left eye was red. I've asked the receptionist, if she knows what happened, she said no, so I asked her that I want to talk to the groomer. When I did the appointment, I requested for Treychel, but she told me that it was this Melissa who groomed him. Then she said Melissa left for the day, so I told her to call her to ask what happen, she said she doesn't have a number for Melissa! How will you not know a number of your employee?! Then, I asked her to call Jazz, the owner instead... They talked and told me he might be irritated by the shampoo?! Really?! I had a business trip and was gone for 10 days. Jazz and Sylar gave my dog so much love and care that I think Tofu missed them! my husband and I were in constant communication with the owners and they sent multiples photos. Facility- Sterile clean and they provide constant flow-through of air. I was show the chemicals they use to clean the floors and it was human and pet friendly. The facility I was at, they had no fresh air and always smelled like Lysol. I knew that couldn't be good for my dog. Here, you never smell anything. They have a backyard and when it rains, they had AstroTurf inside so the dogs can use the restroom comfortably. Grooming- Excellent. My dog received a groom with sanitary shave. We were happy. All in all, we will be going here for a good while. Trust me, it's worth it. Do a social posting for them and you can save 15%. read more

January 27, 2020: Part 1 I am completely disappointed in how my first visit went at the Fantasy Pet Grooming. This will definitely be my last visit here! I took my Cocker Spaniel Duke to get groomed here. This is not his first time getting a groom, but my vet Sienna at 6 recommended that we come here because they are a lot more gentle with animals. Jennifer gave my Cocker Spaniel a mini groom which consisted of a bath, nail clipping, and grooming of the face, private, and feet. When I picked him up that morning, he looked amazing. But the next day, I noticed that his private areas were extremely red and he would would not stop licking and scratching the areas. I emailed the owner asking why this is happening since my dog is one and a half years old and gets a groom three times a month. He has never had this problem before. Jazz got back to me that morning and he said, "it look like laser burn." This is from the clippers being too hot hot and told me to take him to the vet in Sugar Land called Lighthouse. He told me he would pay the cost of the vet visit. Then, within five minutes later, he called me back and said he WOULD NOT pay after he said he would. He kept insisting that if it isn't his fault he will not pay for it. But, I do not understand how it isn't since that is the main area my dog was groomed at. My mother and I tried to explain to him that if my dog arrived at this location without red and irritated private parts how is it not their fault? I was in complete shock at how this visit went. Today, January 29, 2020: Part 2 I took my dog to my own vet to see Dr. Sanchez because the area was starting to scab and Duke would not stop licking it. Sure enough, my poor baby got razor burn. The Vet bill was a total of $134.45. This appointment consisted of a steroid shot, medicine, and the office visit fee. I took this paper work to Jazz immediately to show him what his establishment did to my dog. He took the paper and called his partner and kept calling Dr. Sanchez asking for an "explanation" and reason for this diagnosis. Is was almost as if he didn't believe the paper work I got DIRECTLY from Dr. Sanchez. He kept protesting saying he has the right to get clarification as if I am lying. Then, he wouldn't write the check for the vet bill until I deleted part 1 of the yelp review I posted! How immature! TAKE OWNERSHIP FOR WHAT YOU DID! THAT IS APART OF HAVING A BUSINESS. So I deleted it for his satisfaction. But, if you are reading this, I posted it again :) Then he wrote the check into my name instead of the vet which made absolutely no sense to me. So I cashed it and paid the vet. In conclusion they are very unprofessional and do not keep their word. HE said he would pay for my dog to go to the vet for his irritation on his private because of what HE did during his grooming. Thats not my fault. Don't waste your time here people! They do not keep your word, play too many games and will hurt your furry friends! read more

TLDR: this place is amazing and you should come here! I am absolutely in love with this place! I booked an appointment to have my three dogs' nails trimmed (with the dremel so they smooth and don't get snagged on everything). I was able to call and get an appointment same day and when we went in for the appointment, we were greeted by the owner. He is amazing!! Super enthusiastic and passionate about animals! He studied Hotel Management at UH and has transitioned that hospitality knowledge to pet boarding and grooming. My 3 rambunctious dogs were able to stay calm in the chill environment and the nail trim was perfect! I highly recommend Fantasy! Also, their cat hotel is SO CUTE!! I don't understand how this place has perfect reviews when some are bad. Any who, we left our babies there mid month last month. It took me a while to write this because I really want to give this place 1 star. However, there is one young lady that my dogs LOVE. I believe her name is Jessica, but I am not sure. First, we gave them a bath there and I wasn't satisfied. They smelled nice but they started to shed like crazy. They asked for vaccines which we provided and whoever the man was said it wasn't legible and he couldn't accept. Later on a girl called (we think it's the one our dogs love). She accepted the vaccines. I should've known right there and then not to leave my fur babies. Keep in mind, they never had shed like that when I take them to petsmart. Fast forward to our boarding for 7 days. The whole time while we were out of town, every time I would look at my camera my dogs were in their kennel. Not once did I see them get taken out. I thought they'd go out on walks. They turn off the cameras at 6pm. Why? Makes no sense. However, you can't see your pets throughout the night. One of my dogs pooped in the kennel. When we picked them up. Whoever the guy that was there accused us of leaving a non potty trained dog and that she was the worse. Excuse me? I forgot you lived with us. Called her a bad dog and all. Our dogs are kennel trained, but this is the first time we leave them. And keep in mind they're not even 1 year old yet. Dogs get anxiety. I took my dog and walked away as I didn't want to be disrespectful. When we did get a chance to see them on camera, most of the time they were barking. Which of course they're used to playing and interacting with people. However, my dogs eyes were red. It made me sad. I should've gone with my gut feeling! Paid our dues and will never go back to this place again. Not even for grooming. Unfortunate, due to us loving to support mom and pop shops. If they could have more jessicas maybe they'd be more successful. Super unprofessional. Oh before I forget, "due to covid" we were not able to go into their site. I didn't drop them off, my husband did. I would've immediately taken them home with me! That's a super red flag! read more

This the worst day care facility I have ever been. I have booked an accommodation for my pet here. This is a 23-night stay. They charged me half of the boarding fee on the day I reserved the accommodation. Then due to the unforeseen circumstances I have to cancel the appointment. I canceled the appointment within 24 hrs. At that time the facility owner told me I can use that money for any service. Later I went to the facility for grooming, and I asked the front office lady to use the money that is already on hold. She used the money for that service. After that in the following month I went for grooming again. This time the front office lady told me I cannot use the money on hold for grooming service. I spoke with the owner and the owner said the same. He said I can use that money only for boarding anytime in the future. I asked him to refund it several times and he refused to do that. So, I came back thinking that I can use it when a need arises for boarding. Now when we called the facility again for grooming, he didn't pick up the call. After a while he called me back and told that I cannot use the money on hold for grooming services not only that I should use that money within 6 months after date of cancellation. He is basically gouging money. Very bad service. I would recommend everyone to be aware of this business. Please fall into his trap. read more

I don't know what I would do without these guys. They take such wonderful care of my dogs while I am traveling. The photos they share on Facebook of my fur babies show how happy they are while boarding. The cameras in the luxury boarding suites allow me to look in on my boys while traveling anywhere in the world and gives me peace of mind that they are happy and well taken care of. Yes five stars indeed. I had to find a groomer because of my mobile groomer not available. We were headed to visit family so Dee O' Gee (my puppy) needed grooming. I toured the facility and I was very pleased. His cut was perfect. His hair was so silky and straight and he smelled great. He was well kept and was happy when I arrived back to pick him up. He loves people and They loves pets I could see that. Friendly and also when you board you can also peep in and check on your puppy with the video live feed they offer to view your pup at anytime. I lived in Houston which is far from this store. However after visiting this store, I still decide to have my two cats boarded here. Eventually, they were very very well cared. The owner also kept three cats and my two cats lived with his three cats together in a nearly 400 feet^2 room full of cat toys and cat trees! The price was only 20/cat/day which is significantly low considering the environment my cats lived. The owner also sent me photos and videos of my cats everyday. I can tell from the photo that they were pretty happy there and they even made some new cat friends there. I was even worried that my cats lived so happy there that they may not want to go back home with me LOL. All in all, strongly recommend for boarding! read more
