Over the years I have gone here for a night out. It has live music on the weekends so why not? The place has been though several owners over the years and seems to always be going the wrong way. This current owner is the worst. They fired the bartender who had been there forever. The karaoke person quit. They owners are now the cook and the bartender. The Asian food was so bad that they dont even have it anymore. Even the quality of the bands is lower. I assume they play for just tips. July 8, 2025. In the area for business and looking for a quick takeout dinner. Dining room is closed. Menu mainly consists of bar food. We were informed that the Chinese food shown in the many Yelp photos dropped from the menu over a year ago. Ordered a couple of apps and an order of fish and chips. Don't let the photos fool you. The food is no good. We stopped in because someone recommended it, and now I wish we had picked somewhere else to eat. The parking lot was pretty full, but everyone was in the bar section, and we were the only people in the restaurant. We were seated right away, and both of our servers were great. The inside looks fun, kinda like it's been remodeled recently. You'd never know this place serves Chinese food. I ordered a combo #4, which came with egg drop soup, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp tempura, pork, and pork fried rice. The egg drop soup came out first, and it was lukewarm. We didn't send it back because it didn't taste very good anyway. Our mozzarella sticks came out, and they were still frozen in the middle, not cold, actually frozen. We sent those back, and they brought fresh ones that were all the way cooked. When my entrée came out, the pork was cold like it had just been pulled from the fridge. I sent it back, and they brought out fresh pork that was steaming. The pork fried rice didn't have any flavor, and the best tasting thing on the plate was the soggy sweet and sour chicken . Clean, simple place with a great dance floor area and a couple pool tables. Food is basic burgers and fried stuff. Wine was only available as small bottles - cheap stuff. Live music was great though! read more

This can be a super fun place somtimes, sometimes boring. The food used to be pretty good, but then they changed to menu. Not a fan. Hopefully 4th attempt at posting's the charm: A couple months ago I went here for the 1st time & watched an AC/DC cover band. Musicians on instruments ok, but lead singer hugely talented: blew me away. The place was packed; several delightedly danced while others played pool or video poker. We went there not knowing what to expect. It is a dive bar for sure, but we do like dive bar. Everybody why is he friendly enough that we would definitely come back. The place itself is strange though. One half is a restaurant that looks like it's being run by a family including kids. The other half is the bar. The bar has a couple of pool tables and dart boards. Also has a stage where they host live music. The beer selection was limited, and we only tried the fries which were good. The reason that it got four stars oh, if you're wondering, is because of the welcoming atmosphere. read more

Wow. What a pleasant surprise. We are passing through town, and needing a place for a late lunch. Don't let the humble exterior fool you. These folks make good food. My husband is extremely picky about his clam chowder and he was darn close to ordering a second bowl! Excellent broth, perfect proportion of clams to finely chopped, firm potatoes. He was over the moon on the fried oysters, and the Texas toothpick appetizers. I had the French dip which had the right amount of sautéed onions and mushrooms with great au jus. I splurged in a side of onion rings which was a huge order, crisp and hot. The service was excellent. It's obvious that they really care about your experience. It was probably one of the best meals we've had on this road trip! I only wish I were in the area more often to taste more items on their menu. read more

Though you will not find out until you have finished your meal/drinks and are ready to pay your bill, this establishment will not accept any type of coupon for food and/or beverage. I spoke to the bartender at Celebrities as to why there is no such notice anywhere. I was told "talk to Lilly, that is above my pay grade". So......don't go to Celebrities grill if you are expecting to save a few dollars on a meal and then tip the server extra $$$ above the normal 20% (on the total before the discount of course) like my wife and I had planned to do. read more

Fun neighborhood place... I have been there 6 times and plan to continue. Bar open now (restaurant to re-open in the future due to covid) They have free live music Thursday evening and also Sunday starting in the afternoon. GREAT bang for you your drink buck. I feel like you really have to have heard something about this place, or not have had other options to have stopped in here. Sad to say, but this place doesn't really seem appealing from the outside, and they don't seem to have a menu posted online. It is more of a divey place, so if you stick with what this place is, you should be able to get past the quirks. No the service isn't particularly fantastic, you might have to ask for a menu and order at the bar, and the hand dryer in the bathroom may be miserably loud. But at the end of the day, it's not the end of the world. This place has regulars, good and honest food, fair prices, and regular entertainment. Stiff drinks don't hurt either. read more

The New management has done wonders for this place. I had the Reuben, it came with soup, salad, or fries. The salad was fresh and crisp, no brown leaves. The Reuben was fresh and tasty. The waitress was friendly. The fish and chips were halibut, the fries were crisp and good. All for the same price you would pay at Burgerville, and it came with soup or salad. I highly recommend this place. Come for the food not the ambiance and don't be frightened by how empty it is. Their main business is the bar. read more

It was late Wednesday night and we were the only guests besides family of the waitress. So the service was great. Our waitress was very nice and also the cook. The place is clean and room for lots of customers. The hamburger soup was rich and full of flavor. I had shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta. The pasta was perfect with an onion and green pepper cream sauce that was delicious. My husband had the breaded oysters and they were tender and cooked just right. His baked potato was light and fluffy. Not at all dry. Everything is home made. Even the tarter sauce. We were impressed with this as a good family restaurant. read more

The drinks are strong. I ordered a mono talk and it was perfect for a Thursday. Order at the bar, the bartender is easy to talk to and answers questions. The location and reviews are why we choose this place. It sure isn't much to look at outside or inside- and the people hanging around the bar is not for children. We had reservations, but at 5pm we were the only ones in the restaurant. A very pleasant woman (spoke broken English) took our order and served us. Food was as advertised, very good. But after giving her a credit card she came back and said her cc machine was not working. We didn't have enough cash and inquired what we should do...she had no idea. We suggested she take it to the bar and then have them reimburse her later. I guess she did that, or the machine started working or something. ??? Holy smokes what a gem we found. The food here is phenomenal, seriously people, it's flippen good! Now I haven't seen the restaurant interior because we prefer to eat in the lounge, and the lounge is an old style lounge, but the local regulars make the dynamic work. First time there I had the crab ceviche appetizer which was a special, clam chowder, and the parmesan crusted halibut with rice pilaf and veggies. This was one of the best seafood feasts I've ever had. Hubby had house salad and spaghetti & meatballs, also delicious. Back to the halibut, it was knock your socks off delicious and for $15 the portion was huge. So delicious we went back last weekend to see if it was a fluke, and it tasted exactly like the first time. A+ for consistency, that's what matters the most in the hospitality industry!
