I was seeking energy healing and after reading a few reviews, I booked a massage. There were no bad reviews on here at all, so I went with high expectations. During the massage, I felt relaxed. Galina was very attentive to the temperature of the room. She checked in with me about pressure level, areas on the body I wanted to work on, etc. When it came to attuning to my energy, she said she did not sense any issues, any anxieties, etc. She said that I was a successful, happy person and everyone loved me. Galina was recommended to me by a colleague who knew I was struggling. I have had shoulder pain for over a year and knee pain for around a month. I have not been sleeping for almost a month and physically it was showing on my face. I had gone to the doctors and they didn't really care to hear about my pain. Galina is a miracle worker. I first saw her after a terrible arthritis flare up where my muscles were rock hard. She somehow worked through layer by layer and loosened me up. I went Celestial Healing Therapy for very very bad lower back pain and stiffness. Before I went, I was unable to bend down properly and was in constant discomfort. I found Galina purely by accident while searching for someone in the west SJ/Saratoga area who could do chair massage. I am not a table massage fan due to issues with positional vertigo, but it's really hard to find chair massage! I am very thankful I found her! First, I texted her per the instructions on her site for setting up an appointment. She was extremely responsive and, best of all, very flexible, which I really appreciated a lot considering that I had to change/reschedule my initial appointment a few hours after we first booked it. She was very patient and nice about it! When I arrived, I found her home studio to be quiet and inviting, and she did an AMAZING job massaging my ridiculously tight upper back and neck. If I recall correctly, she called me a "hero" for being able to go about my life with muscles that tight. :D The massage was deep, but I'm writing this review 24 hours later and I'm not even sore. In the past, deep chair massages make me a little sore, but not today. I feel great! Best of all, Galina is a lovely person - very warm and caring, and she really tries hard to communicate properly during the massage to ensure she is hitting all of the right spots, using the right amount of pressure, etc. I don't travel to her area very often, but when I do, I will definitely call her again for a GREAT chair massage!!! read more
