I hired this company for a move-in cleaning, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing overall. The initial clean missed multiple basic areas that were clearly outlined in their own service checklist, including dusty baseboards, debris in closets and cabinets, uncleaned toilets, bathroom and uncleaned appliances among other issues. I ended up having to clean several of these areas myself on move-in day, which defeated the purpose of hiring a professional service. The number of items missed truly made me question if a clean had even been done in the first place. I was not home during the cleaning to perform a quality check, and the owner later acknowledged that due to scheduling constraints, no one from their team was available to oversee or verify the quality of the work either. That lack of oversight likely contributed to how much was missed. When I sent a detailed email outlining what was missed, supported by photos, the response I received was not one of accountability. Instead, I was told that what I photographed was likely paint on the floor (it wasn't: it was clearly dirt and debris that i later had to vaccum, showing me that they didnt even bother to clean the closets as the package promised), and that "grime" in the bathrooms is sometimes too difficult to remove in one pass. I was able to clean those areas myself fairly quickly, including the "difficult grime" which made their explanation feel dismissive and frustrating. To their credit, they did come back to clean the areas that were missed. However, a number of clearly mentioned items were STILL missed, including the powder room toilet and the inside of the microwave, both of which were part of their standard package and had been communicated in writing AND in person more than once. Despite me being home during that visit and specifically mentioning to them in person to please clean the powder room toilet and microwave that was initially missed, the cleaner left without saying a word or giving me a chance to walk through and confirm the work. This was unprofessional and, had a quick check-in been done, could have avoided the need for a third visit altogether to clean these missed areas. When I followed up again to ask for those last areas to be completed, I was met with resistance and a passive-aggressive tone, implying that I was being unreasonable for asking them to finish the job. I didn't appreciate being made to feel guilty for requesting something that should have been completed in the first place. I requested a call multiple times to discuss this and never received the courtesy of one, and was instead left to discuss this through email and text which made the experience all the more frustrating. The unprofessionalism and rudeness from the owner herself was extremely off-putting and left a poor impression. I've used professional cleaning services before and have never had an experience like this. I've never once needed to ask for a re-clean, let alone multiple follow-ups. I've since hired a new cleaner who has been reliable, thorough, and professional from the start, with none of the issues I encountered here. I gave them multiple chances to make it right, but the overall lack of attention to detail, accountability, and professionalism left me frustrated and unable to trust their cleaning services. This company would do well to learn from this experience. No customer should be made to feel wrong or burdensome for expecting the agreed-upon service to be delivered in full. They need to improve not only their accountability, reliability, and quality control, but also their professionalism and customer service.
