I placed an order for a replacement screen for my daughters Ipad which broke when dropped. We received a call that it was in, but when we went in we were told it was used for another Ipad. We were told that a replacement would be ordered and we would receive a call. We checked a couple times and still nothing. We than receive a call asking if we wanted the item still. We went in today only to find out that they ordered a refurbished product and they will be charging us a $60 stocking fee. Not only did we pay for the product, installation and now they will be charging a restocking fee. I'll be checking with the credit card company about disputing the fee. First of all, I have to give it a one because it doesn't allow us to give a zero or a minus I came here on December 5 to get a new phone cover for my iPhone. The lady that help me was so nice and pleasing. I purchased a phone cover that cost $50 and got it on sale for 45 three days later I had to bring it back because the flap was tearing the gentleman that helped me was very polite apologized and gave me a replacement. I was very happy with that. Today I bring the phone back on 14 December because the second cover was not working properly. The owner of this place asses me how many times have I brought my phone back I said this will be the third time he said this will be your last time I said no if there's a problem with this cover That I paid good money for I will be back again he got so mad. I felt so bad for the young gentleman that was helping me being very helpful being very pleasant but not the owner. I took my Note 9 in for screen repair. I had to wait over two weeks for them to get the parts. No one called me so, I went to their store. Come to find out, my parts were sitting there. The kit contained a screen, motherboard, and a battery. I just needed a new screen and protector. After their repairs, my front-facing camera is blurry (they can't repair it), the screen protector and the screen broke after one drop and also my Bluetooth keeps dropping. Crappy parts!!! We went inside Cell Xpress at AV Mall, and had my son's IPhone 6S+ repaired by NEXGEN TECH. The technician and the owner were simply amazing, and went above and beyond to help fix my son's almost unrepairable phone. The owner even went to her car to look for an extra heat protector just so my son's phone can be served to it's very potential. The technician did a wonderful job fixing the phone, and the waiting-time wasn't so bad at all, esp because they're located inside the mall. This store is run by 2 very unprofessional boys. I took my Iphone 5 in because my battery needed to be changed. Which I payed around $50.00 for replacement. One of the guys there changed my battery but when he started my phone back up my LCD screen wasn't working. He reopened my phone and got it to work. A few days later I started having problems again... with my touch screen not working and not to mention my Camera. I recently took my phone into another shop where I was told my 2 camera lens pieces were missing, metal plate for the battery, and some screws were missing. This is really absurd. These boys are not trustworthy or honest people at all as they were the last shop I took it to for battery replacement. They took all these pieces out & failed to put them back when reassembling my Iphone 5. I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this store as it is run by youngsters who are in a hurry and don't put any effort into their work. read more

I wish no stars was an option. I cracked the screen of my iPhone 6+ and did not want to wait for a new one shipped from my carrier so I came here and they "fixed" it for $160. They HIGHLY recommended the tempered glass screen protector and a case so I bought both, out $200 at this point. A day or two later I noticed my screen was tweaking out. Apps were opening closing on their own, music was playing on its own, closing apps i was using and just creeping me out so I called and they said it was a bad screen and they wouldnt have new screens until tuesday (I called on either tuesday or wednesday) so my phones out of commission for a week. I had to use siri for everything. I was told my best bet was to call Tuesday since they dont reserve screens for people (Guess my $200 wasnt enough to warrant special treatment). I call on Tuesday, at 1pm, and they say they are sold out. Interesting. They say they should get more Friday but they do not know. Okay great, three more days no phone. I start to notice the screen lifting in the corners, so I try to push it back in. Seems to work, then it rolls off my lap onto my hardwood floor. Whole thing shatters like I hit it with a mallet. Even my original crack wasnt this bad and i dropped that one from a lifted truck onto concrete, I was cutting my fingers on the broken glass. I go in and explain that I got this extra $$ screen protector because they said it would protect my phone from new cracks and the shotty screen wasnt even working before so I thought I should still be able to get it replaced, why would they want to keep a bad screen anyways? (Now I suspect to give it to new customers and hope they dont complain). But the worker told me that they dont guarantee the protectors work (they sure pushed them like they did and I trusted their judgment), and since the glass was now broken, they would not repair it. I am a college student whos job required me to use cellphone technology, I was out of $200 which is a lot for me and my only means of making more money because this crooked, corner-cutting, cluster-crap of a business decided I would be their next victim. Just spend the money and get it replaced by your carrier. These people dont give a crap about you or your hard earned money, they only want to push useless products and shotty materials to pad their bottom line. After I got water damage to my s4 active my charging port was toasted. They ordered it priority mail and replaced the part in a few days. Unfortunately the part has defects but with the warranty they provide free of charge they immediately reordered new new part. I would not recommend anyone to get their phone fixed at "CELL XPRESS" the first time I went to get my broken screen fixed they convinced me to get the high quality screen which was over $100 and did not glue my screen in correctly, my screen started to fall out because of it. Also the part that makes the screen go black wasn't working so my face would press buttons and end my calls. When I went back to get it fixed again I told them about the part and they looked inside and said it was "missing" makes me think they steal parts because it was working when my screen was broken. They wanted me to pay for that part and I told them no and had them just glue my screen shut. The second time I broke my screen I went I asked for the low quality screen which costed me $65 I also paid $15 for the part they had took from me the first time. Over all I paid $85 and I am not happy with the service they did on my phone. My screen does some wild stuff, my touch really doesn't work and it will open apps I did not open. When I scroll down it doesn't always work and it keep trying to refresh or it will jump all the way to the bottom of the screen. Most of time I want to throw my phone at the wall because the screen has a mind of its own. Never again will I get my phone fixed there. I would give this place a rating of - stars. read more

Back in September, I came here to replace the battery on my iPhone 6, which was having an issue holding charge. I brought the phone in with it functioning, turning the phone off briefly before repair. After about 3 1/2 hours of waiting, they inform me they cannot fix the phone and put my old battery back in (understandable.) However, my phone was no longer turning on at all, even with the original battery which had charge. Staff tried to tell me that it never worked to begin with and that i was SOL. Took in my very expensive iPad Pro for a new glass. Had to order it (that's fine) and needed $150 up front (that's fine, too. I'm sick about the cost, but I'm the one who dropped the thing). Takes a few days, so I had them put a protector on the broken one and I continued to use it during a week-long trip. Worked perfectly, just had cracks in the glass. After they fix it, the finger scan button no longer works (they tried to blame it on me, but it was working perfectly) and there was a scalloped-edge shadow on the left-hand border. They had to order a new screen because they had left marks during the repair. But the finger scan still doesn't work and the shadow is still there. He said it should go away in a week or so. It didn't. I looked into these conditions and it's what happens when people who don't know what they are doing attempt to repair an iPad. So there you go. My boyfriend cracked his phone and we came to the only place we knew, a worker (who I'm assuming is the owner) told us they'd be able to fix his shattered screen for $115. They told us to come back in forty minutes and the phone would be done- forty minutes later we come back and the phone is not fixed at all, the repair man gave the excuse that the phone was bent and couldn't replace the screen. I have an iphone and have been going here for nearly five years to get my screen repaired. As a 4+ yr customer, you can say I have been always highly satisfied with their work. Recently however they have hired new kids who have no idea what theyre doing. Without fail, I am always asked for the passcode to the screen and this time when I dropped it off they didn't ask which I thought was weird but just apart of a new system I didn't know. Not saying anything = BIG MISTAKE. When my phone was returned to me, it was completely disabled and the screen flashed "Disabled Connect to Itunes". I was instructed by the phone repairman to go home and connect to iTunes. Mind you, this has NEVER happened in my 4+ years of coming here. My phone would NOT connect, regardless of trying numerous charging cords AND computers. I returned to the store to find someone else I had never seen before working. The best he could do was recommend going to the Apple Store, which if you don't know, the nearest one is in Santa Clarita. So I went down there and the Apple guy connected my phone in less than 10 minutes. They told me the person who fixed my phone did not turn it off correctly before the screen replacement. This resulted in losing over 2 years of photos on my phone because I had to completely restore it at the Apple Store. To top it all off, my home button isn't working at all either. Took me two weeks for them to fix my iPhone 5c screen. On the 4th attempt they finally "fixed" it. When it was picked up the screen was put in wrong so the home button didn't work and the screen wasn't in all the way. They made me wait another hour so he could fix his mistake. 2 weeks later and the lighting has gone out 3 times. I do not recommend them for fixing screens. Brought my iphone 5 for a microphone fix which was fixed fine but then I found out they messed up my sound. The speakers don't work my phone does not have sound when someone texts me or calls me. I call to make sure they can fix it and they say to go ahead and bring it in. I went in to get my iPhone 4 cracked screen replaced. They did a great job getting it to look good, but I noticed afterwards the proximity sensor and some areas of the touch screen were not working( I had taken it in with the screen working perfectly). At first they said it was because of iOS7, but my phone was on iOS7 when i took it in. Long story short, after a week of going back and forth with them, I got a refund from the owner. I went to RadioShack afterwards to see if they could fix it, and they did. They told me whoever had replaced the screen had broken the parts of the proximity sensor and also the digitizer. I had RadioShack do it for me, and although it takes longer with them, they fixed it and the screen has a 1 year warranty, which is better than the 60 day warranty this place offers. I would suggest to steer clear of them for replacement screens. read more

WEEKEND FROM HELL!!! ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! STUPIDITY AT IT'S BEST!!! Took a phone in with water damage on Friday. I was called Saturday afternoon and was told that my phone worked with a new screen and battery, I gave the okay to replace those things then went to get it a few hours later. I was then told by another "tech guy" (mike) that it also needed a new home button and a couple other things. Phone was ready half an hour later. Only to find my 4 digit pass code is now a 6 digit pass code once I got home. On top of that I am getting Facebook and Snapchat notifications from people I do NOT know. Called the place two times, they finally answer, I explain the issue and MIKE says he will call the other "tech guy" who worked on my phone first to see if he might know what happened. He calls back to tell me he couldn't get a hold of him to call back in the morning. So as soon as they opened I called a few times before they FINALLY answered. I am told by Mike that he spoke with the other guy and they don't know what's wrong. That the parts to my phone were all kept together. He has the audacity to tell me it was probably the water damage!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?! So water damaged erased all of my information and replaced it with someone else's?! I jumped in my car went straight to the AT&T store and was told that that was NOT a possibility, that I must have been given the wrong phone. I went straight to the store from there to speak with the almighty Mike the "tech guy" again. He stuck to his story and said to give him 30 minutes to look the phone over, that if they could not figure it out they would put all my old parts back in and give me a refund. Well guess what, Mike comes about 15 or so minutes later to the table i'm sitting at in the food court waiting, to tell me my motherboard was switch with another and that they called the guy and he would bring his phone in later to switch them back. Hours pass with no update on my phone. It is Sunday and they close at 6. So by 4:30 I begin calling them. From 4:30 to 5:30 I called about 10 times with NOT ONE SINGLE ANSWER!!! I get in my car and drive over. When I park I decide to call one last time, THEY FINALLY ANSWER! I ask about my phone and they say the person came in about 20 minutes earlier and they switched the motherboards back. So then I proceed to ask if my phone is FINALLY READY?! To which he says, "unfortunately your Motherboard DOES NOT WORK!" ARE YOU F*CKING SERIOUS!!!!! I was then told i could pick my phone up tomorrow with all my old parts and a refund. WHY WAS I NOT TOLD THAT THE MOTHERBOARD THE OTHER PERSON HAD (aka My actual motherboard) WAS NOT WORKING?!?!?! After getting this situated tomorrow my next step is contacting the BBB!!!!!!! I want to make something VERY clear, I am a fault for the water damage, I knew there was a possibility of my phone not working ever again, what I was not prepared for was the CIRCUS OF CHAOS at this place. First it seemed to be a good reputable place being that it is in the mall. Boy was I wrong. I have a very expensive Samsung Galaxy Mega, my screen cracked. I went in last Tuesday 9/16/14 and paid $150.00 so they can "ORDER" the screen. OK no problem they tell me it will be there in 3 business days, it should have arrived on Saturday 9/20/14. I call Monday and this girl answers tells me the screen is still not in and should be tomorrow and rudely replied, "we said we would call you!" Then Tuesday comes and I go in around 3pm. 2 young guys are there, they both tell me the screen should be here today I have tracked it and it is being delivered today, it should be ready around 5pm and so I leave my phone there. I call at 5pm to see if its fixed, they tell me the screen still has not come but is still on its way for me to call back at 7pm. I call back at 7pm and apparently since the screen was arriving so late they "PUT IN A SPECIAL REQUEST TO GO PICK THE SCREEN UP INSTEAD AT THE POST OFFICE" Didn't know that was possible anyhow, now it is sounding like a bunch of BULL to me. These guys are very unprofessional. Horrible customer service and very dishonest. If they can't even be honest about a screen coming, who knows what else they lie about? Anyhow by this time I am highly upset, I call him back about 740pm and tell him I want my phone and my money back, I am on my way. He asked me what I paid with, I told him cash. He has the nerve to tell me he only has $30 in the register. I basically hung up on him and raced over there.
