They activated a new plan before activating the new phone. The technical support team could not be reached on that Saturday to fix the problem, so I was without my original phone number all weekend. Having had this phone number since 1998 AND being stuck in the store for 2 hours, I was very frustrated. They activated another phone number, so I had one for the weekend. On Monday, they called and asked me to activate the PIN code, so I could have my old number attached to my old phone. When trying to activate my old number, however, they ran into more difficulties and my phone was dinged as having fraudulent activity connected to it. Rather than taking care of this issue at the store, I had to talk to Verizon for a solid hour to resolve the problem. I would NEVER advise ANYONE to EVER buy something from this store. I'll stick to the corporate Verizon store or go through the online process to upgrade again. Be wary of going to this establishment.

I've had it happen to my class ring in high school too but no one has been able to give me a reason as to why it happens for me to avoid doing whatever it is that is causing it. Well less than 2 weeks after getting my promise ring back from getting it fixed it folded again. So now we were looking for a replacement and a possible engagement ring. By then my fiance was done getting rings from JCP. I know he should've went by himself to look at rings but he knew I wanted a specific style so he let me tag along. We showed the staff what my old ring looked like before getting it refunded at JCP and they weren't sure how it happened either. They helped us look at possible ring choices. I knew I wanted a halo style ring. I was mainly concerned about the height of the ring because I've heard 1 too many stories of fingers nearly coming off from a snagged ring. The staff showed us many styles of the halo cut and in various metal types. We wanted to stay away from the sterling silver since that is what my promise ring was. I found the perfect ring and fell in love with it. I didn't want to put it down. We left to return my old promise ring and after my fiance saw how upset I was for leaving that ring, we went back and looked into financing options. The staff offered 2 types of financing that we qualified for and we left with the right that day! Lets just say I wasn't upset anymore. Of course my fiance did the correct thing of asking my dad for my hand before proposing with the ring but let me tell you the waiting to get that ring back on my finger was agony! We got the lifetime warranty as well so I come in every 6 months and have it inspected for any loose/missing diamonds and a cleaning which takes all but 3 minutes. It's been 8 months since we first got it and I'm still in love with it just as much as when I first looked at it. We've been back since the initial purchase to look at wedding bands as well. My ring was just the engagement ring - no wedding band included, but Zales has a great selection that fits the same style as my ring to match and compliment it.

We both dress VERY casually on the weekends but my girlfriend is a private practice mental health therapist and I'm a supply chain manager for a large restaurant brand. We make over $200k/year combined. I was also in the market to add a 1.5+ karat diamond to my grandmother's ring for an engagement ring for my soon to be fiancé. I took it to Flora Gems (Spent $7000 CASH) after the experience I had with this associate at Zales. Will NEVER shop at Zales again.

It is inconsistent, but you can also find some pretty cool things. Prices are not bad and they often have deals if you buy multiple items. I would say that they are better for movies than anything else; it is a pretty vast selection. It can be crowded and a bit messy. It seems like the employees are most of the problem here. The shelves can be really out of order and I have seen many times when the same item was listed at multiple different prices or had gunk and other stickers all over it. If you are patient and do not mind doing all the work yourself you can find decent deals; just be prepared to wait ages for anyone to help with things you cannot reach yourself.
