I came here with a friend on a Thursday evening. The Wine Bar was packed but we got a seat at the bar. The establishment is located in a large house with a cozy, eclectic feel. It reminded me of something you would find in Cleveland Heights, which is a nice find for out in the middle of Stow. There is lots of seating, a beautiful old fireplace, and the ambiance lends itself to a date or a night with close friends. I ordered a glass of moscato that I felt was reasonably priced and we shared the small cheese and fruit platter and the spinach and Asiago dip. They had a huge selection of wines to buy from lots of wineries all over. The cheese and fruit plate was small for the price and the cheese was just cut in three big pieces. We had to try and chop it up ourselves. I think it would have been nicer if it had been sliced since we were sharing the plate. The amount of fig jam was also quite sparse. Maybe 1.5 Tbps. And 4 or 5 slices of apple. The dip was delicious and bubbling hot when it came out. My only complaint here is that the delicious flatbread that came with it wasn't enough for all the dip. We asked for more bread and were told we could buy more for $3 or they could give us some cold baguette. We opted for the baguette which wasn't nearly as good with the remaining dip. I would like to come back and try a pizza. I did enjoy the atmosphere and the servers were very friendly.

I had a lovely night out at Cellar 59 Wine Bar and Wine Shop last night. The ambiance was cozy and intimate. The server we had was friendly. The Asiago dip was delicious! The dip definitely needed to come with more pita, however, the server brought out some bread to dip with it upon request free of charge. The cheese and fruit board was lacking, but that definitely wouldn't deter me from going back to this little gem!! I highly recommend!

Had a girls weekend and tried different craft cocktails and wine places. Cellar59 was the last one we tried and so glad we did. The house is amazing and the wrap around porch is so cozy. Unfortunately we got there is a rain storm hit so we sat inside at the bar. Bartender was super friendly and made amazing craft cocktails. The Ezra Wyatt was my favorite. We had already eaten so didn't order food but will try it next time

We came here shortly after they opened, and were greeted right when we walked in. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the slightly rainy slightly sunny day. My wife got a glass of wine and I got an old fashioned. My drink was really good, for me one of the main things for an old fashioned is it better not have one of those cheap bright red cherries in it, better have a good cocktail cherry. Nice relaxing spot with good service. We did not eat while there but my wife said she was here with friends before and the food was good. I will repost when we both get food on our next visit.

This is a cozy little wine bar that appears to be popular with the locals. The wine selection is quite impressive and they even offer bottles for sale! I'm not much of a wine connoisseur but my friend who's becoming a sommelier was super impressed (if that means anything) I imagine this place would be really cute during the winter time, sipping some wine across from your loved ones watching the snow dance by. However, I was super disappointed with the charcuterie board. It was good but not worth the $24 price tag. The flatbread pizza was good however, my friends felt like it was missing flavor and just tasted like cheese. The Nutella dessert was good, but anything with Nutella is tasty ..

Made reservations for a group of 6 for a friends birthday. They were able to easily accommodate us at a large table outside. The wrap around porch is beautiful, a perfect place for outdoor seating. The menu is small but they have a lot of great things on there! I love that you can get "sips" of the wine, small tastings before you know what you want. But honestly, get 3-4 sips as they are about $3-4 each and you're set! Also go for the cheese board and pizzas if you're with a group, or without honestly. The crust of the pizza is thin and crunchy, able to hold up the toppings well. I can't wait to comeback, it's perfect for a low-key vibe.

I LOVE this place!! Not only are they extremely knowledgeable about their wines and have a great selection, the atmosphere is super cute and quaint, and surprisingly the food is my favorite part!! It is so nice to find a place to go enjoy an evening of wine drinking and to be presented with food that is to die for! The artichoke dip is by far the tastiest thing on the menu and it is the best appetizer you will ever have in your life! I promise! The Bavarian pretzel is wonderfully done- super soft and tasty. The tomato goat flatbread is also a fav of mine. Can't go wrong with any of those 3 appetizers!

I was really impressed with my first visit to Cellar 59. I'm married and will never have a first date again, but for those single guys out there: this is your place. The ambiance of this spot is top notch. They did a really good job with the renovation. It's a place where you feel hip and fancy drinking at. The table we sat at looked like something you'd find on HGTV. There are two rooms inside, one a little more lively with a bar, the other is a little quieter. The music playlist was right up my alley. Always love hearing a bunch of Avett Brothers songs. They have an absolutely stunning wrap around porch I want to come back in the summer for. The wine selection is obviously the attraction, but they have cocktails and beers to choose from as well. My wife loved her sweet bourbon mixed drink. The wine flight was $14 and came with 4 different glasses. I think the food here is underrated. I live a mile away, and always just assumed it was a place with only wine and maybe a cheese and fruit plate. That couldn't be further from the truth. The menu is loaded with a bevy if heavy appetizers and pizza entrees. Everything we tried was magnificent The Roni and Carne Italiana pizzas were both really tasty, and pretty large for only $12. I think the pictures speak for themselves. The New Chicago Pannino was huge and delicious. They cut it into 6 pieces so we could all share it. It comes with 3 high end meats, and the hot pickled peppers on the sandwich made the whole meal. The ciabatta bread was also awesome. Not bad for $10, and you get chips. Can't wait to come back.

By far the best wine bar, both in the food they serve and wine selection. It is located on Kent Rd in Stow, in a renovated home with a huge wrap around porch that is ideal place to sip wine in warmer weather. While they don't have a huge menu, everything we have had here has been spot on. They have a nice selection of wine to drink there and take to go. Don't know what to buy? Ask the owner, he has expansive knowledge of wine and is able to guide you to finding the perfect wine to suit your taste.

It's a small place and we thought we'd have to wait but luckily a couple were leaving so we got seats at the bar. It would have been worth the wait. We picked a couple drinks off the menu and they were incredibly beautiful and tasted divine. The pizza we ordered had anchovies and pepperoni and I swear it's the best wood fired pizza I've ever had. I wanted another drink and asked the bartender to make me a rum drink of their choice. Within minutes some amazing concoction, it was smoking inside a glass dome of some sort. The garnish was a flamed cinnamon stick and orange rind that looked like a sword. It was incredible. The vibe is nice and patrons are friendly. It's not loud, so you can carry on a conversation, and the music was nice. There is a cute little back room with tables too for groups of 2-4 people. Parking is plentiful on the street and nearby parking lots. Within walking distance of other bars and restaurants. Up and coming area. I can't recommend the Oak & Olive enough and I can't wait to go back.

Mine was a crème brûlée one, which was divine, but they all sounded delicious! We also ordered the fig & pear pizza to share. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the flavors worked really well together! I'm hoping I can come here with my husband soon.

We were warmly greeted by Todd and Gina, the owners, who couldn't have been friendlier. Todd told us all about their wines, including the awards they've won, especially in California, and generously offered us the chance to try any of the wines at no cost. We started with the Gruner Veltliner, a bright, citrusy, and crisp wine. It was extremely dry compared to other Gruners we've had, which are usually more fruit-forward, but it was still quite enjoyable. Next, we tried the Riesling, which was also very good. My wife moved over to the semi-sweet side and tried the Traminette, which I eventually sampled after trying all the dry wines. We both really liked it. I then tried the Cabernet Franc, which was a medium-bodied wine with notes of raspberry, blueberry, and a light mocha oakiness--delicious! The Chambourcin was also quite good, without the typical bite or tartness. Lastly, the Flagship Red, a classic Bordeaux-style dry red, had a pleasant hint of pepper and was definitely a standout. Todd shared that they exclusively offer wines from Stony Run Vineyards in Breinigsville, PA, which has a wide selection. They're also planning to offer Old Fashioneds soon, as their winery includes a distillery, and they'll be featuring a "drink of the week" as well. What really sets this place apart, though, is Todd and Gina themselves. They're genuinely kind people who are dedicated to the community, and it was heartwarming to learn that they both served in the US Military--Todd in the Navy and Gina in the Air Force. We're already looking forward to our next visit when we're in the area again. Don't forget to thank them for their service when you stop by!

Easily equal to Chagrin Falls, Chardon Square or any other in northeast Ohio. We arrived and parked along the main street, strolled down the block to the front door. Upon entering you desend the stairway to your left. At the bottom you pass through a glass door into a very nicely appointed dining room (see attached picture). This is a "below the sidewalk" establishment and gives off a smokey, speakeasy type vibe... very classy. As you enter you will discover the hostess is at the far end of the room where the entrance from the rear parking lot is. Evidently that is where the majority of customers enter. I prefer the front... no matter. She saw us right away and immediately walked over and greeted our party. We were quickly seated at our table for the evening. A nice gentleman introduced himself as Christian, our server for the evening. He was quick with a smile and full of knowledge and energy. We placed our drink order and began to peruse the menu. The regular and evening specials menus are more than satisfactory to make any pallet happy. We began with "Deviled Eggs" topped with Caviar, need I say, they were marvelous. Also, the "Oysters Rockefeller" were excellent. The choice of entree's are very nice. My wife chose "Chilean Seabass" Spice Rubbed Carrot/Ginger Puree Haricot Verts Almond/Yuzu Chimichurri. I went with my absolute favorite, "Lamb Chops" Herb Crusted Dijon Crispy Gnocchi Green Peppercorn Jus. So did my brother. And his wife ordered the "Sea Scallops" Roasted Beets Humboldt Fog Pistachios Orange/Saffron Butter. Everything was exceptional as always. KUDOS to the entire kitchen staff. We followed dinner with a fine cup of coffee and shared a couple orders of "Whipped Chocolate Mousse" infused with chopped hazelnuts... fabulous.
