I made this request because I prefer interacting with a cashier for my transactions. I was told this was not possible. At that time, there were four staff members standing in the self-checkout area. None of them appeared to be actively assisting other customers, and despite my request, no one offered to help me. Their refusal to assist came across as dismissive, disrespectful, and unprofessional. The way I was treated felt unnecessarily rude and unhelpful, and it gave the impression that my needs as a customer were not valued. This behavior was not only disappointing but also felt abusive in the sense that I was deliberately ignored when help was clearly available. It seemed as though the staff had no interest in providing service, and their attitude created an uncomfortable and hostile environment. I believe this reflects a serious problem with both staff training and management oversight. If employees are unwilling to assist customers and instead choose to stand idle, it damages the store's reputation and alienates shoppers. Management should take immediate action to address this -- including retraining staff, holding employees accountable for poor conduct, and, if necessary, replacing individuals who are unwilling or unable to perform their jobs professionally. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of their checkout preference. I strongly urge Savers to ensure that all staff members understand their responsibility to assist customers promptly and respectfully, and to take decisive action when employees fail to meet that standard.

Free People, Karl Lagerfeld, Converse, etc. are all examples of branded items I have found here in the past in like new or very good condition that were very inexpensive. Flash forward to now, they keep a large majority of the "good" items behind a counter that rarely has anyone assigned to it, so if you want to look at any of the clothes, jewelry, purses, shoes, etc. behind that counter, you often have to literally search for an employee. On the racks, every now and then I can still find a deal, but please tell me why Walmart and Target brand clothing are marked up higher than name brands? A Free People shirt for 8 dollars but a Walmart shirt for 11? A Nike shirt with stains and the labels peeling off for 13? A Gildan concert tee for 10? The prices don't make any sense! I've seen multiple jackets and jeans pushing 20 or over 20 bucks, which is INSANE for a thrift store. Some of the clothes and shoes you can buy brand new at Walmart, Target, TJMaxx, etc., for the same price or maybe a dollar more. It's giving greedy, a little. These are donations marked up to extreme highs. I still shop and buy when I find a good steal but it's becoming rarer every time I come.

Bassy saved my wedding dress and my wedding day!…read more I had originally gone to another tailor recommended by the boutique where I purchased my strapless princess gown. Unfortunately, the work done at the other tailor's shop left my dress butchered. When I realized something was wrong with the original tailoring, it was two months before my wedding. I was distraught because I didn't think a new tailor would take me due to the limited time before my wedding and it being right before bridal and prom season. However, someone recommended I contact Bassy and I'm so grateful for their rec! Bassy listened to my concerns regarding my dress and what the other tailor had planned to do to it, advised me to take back my dress straight away, and booked me for an appointment ASAP. Within a week Bassy had me in her shop to assess all the damage that had been done by the previous tailor: (1) the hem was uneven by inches; (2) the train was lopsided; (3) the bustle was just a loop and a button that would be visible and unsecure; (4) the bodice was taken in so much that three people were needed to zip me up, which (5) left the zipper of my dress straining and puckering; (6) so much of the bust was trimmed away that my chest was exposed whenever I moved; and (7) they made a sash instead of the custom shawl I ordered for my ceremony. The worst part about the original tailoring work is that so much fabric was cut away there was barely any fabric left to correct the shoddy work. My dress was in really horrible shape and I knew I wouldn't be able to find or order another dress in time for my wedding. Despite the multiple problems with my dress, Bassy assured me she would find solutions for the above issues and she did! Bassy evened out the dress' hem by rehemming it and removing a portion of its petticoat to ensure it kissed the floor evenly. For the train, she adjusted it so it would be symmetrical and less oblong. It looked gorgeous trailing behind me as I walked down the aisle. The bodice was a tricky fix, but Bassy executed it perfectly! To expand the bodice, she needed extra fabric and found it within the seam allowance of the bodice's panels. She undid every panel, let out a little bit of fabric from each, and carefully stitched the bodice back up so that each panel was even and proportional. She was able to expand the bodice while also making it look like it hadn't been deconstructed. Bassy's work allowed me to properly breath while wearing my dress and my mother was able to zip me up by herself with no trouble! Bassy also created a custom shawl for me that looked like something Audrey Hepburn would wear! The attention to detail is so incredible! Bassy made the shawl so there was a slight curve in the front that elegantly hugs my collar bone. I love this shawl so much I plan to continue wearing it for special events. The most incredible fix Bassy made to my dress is the bust. I thought I'd have to wear my shawl the entire wedding. Instead, she came up with the incredible idea to build up the bust of my dress with additional fabric. The original bust had a cat eye neckline with draping across it. Bassy was able to expand the bust above my chest and next to my underarms to give me more coverage. She did this by building up fabric that mimics the original bustline's shape. The final result is beautiful! No one would ever know that the work Bassy did was not part of the dress' original design. I'm incredibly grateful for the amazing and transformative work Bassy did to my dress, her professionalism, her expert advice, and her direct and honest communication. She always set realistic expectations and provided alternative solutions that would not compromise the integrity of my dress or its overall style. Bassy is also just a lovely person to be around. I was really sad about the state my dress was left in by the previous tailor. With each visit to Bassy's (and she booked me for as many as needed to get my dress perfect), I felt better and more confident. Bassy saved my dress, my wedding, and my peace of mind. THANK YOU BASSY!!!

Bassy hemmed several pairs of pants, took in the waist on others, and completely altered a vintage dress for me. The dress needed extra room, and she expertly removed the belt and expanded the side seams so seamlessly that you would never be able to tell any alterations were made. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are absolutely unbelievable. Bassy is truly a talented artist, and her work speaks for itself. If you need tailoring or alterations done right, I cannot recommend her enough. Absolutely exceptional work!

LOVE convenience, even at the expense of bad service at times. So close to my house. They've always been VERY nice to me when I bring up the collar issue, but it just happened AGAIN. Brand new shirt, laundered ONCE. Got it back and the collar looks far older than it should. Has that strange shine from being pressed with something TOO HOT. Showed the woman working there (again, very nice). She noticed as well, and confirmed it was pressed too hot. Said in the future they will do everything by hand instead of by machine. Think it's two or three extra dollars. I imagine there's gotta be another place that can do standard dry cleaning on this type of typical shirt, not have to pay extra, and not get back a shirt that automatically looks aged. Unfortunately now I have my favorite brand new shirt that looks older than it should. Like my other shirts I've brought there. Shame. ps. Awesome customer service tip would be to make up for the damage by offering some type of free cleaning, or better yet, reimburse for the shirt.

During a holiday week they do not modify the delivery schedule from m/th or t/f even though they do NO deliveries on Wednesday and could potentially mange to continue service. They simply do NOT pick up. Over time this situation becomes increasingly annoying. As customers we still manage to squeeze a normal work schedule into a shorter week. A small complaint.
