I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I went in to fix my phone screen and left. She asked me to Zelle her which I thought was weird. I then woke up the next morning and my phone wouldn't even turn on. The phone number attached to this business does not work which is EXTREMELY shady. It was impossible to get in touch with them about my issue, I had to literally call Sephora to ask them to go out and get me a phone number from this kiosk. The owner was disrespectful, sexist, dismissive, and threatening. It was such a hassle to get my money back and he was disgusting. I went and got my phone fixed from a real place for them to tell me these people broke a part in my phone. The owner of this business does not need to ever be in contact with the public, he's awful, his employees are incompetent, and his business is shady. read more

I went to this shop to fix my phone. It was going to be very expensive. The man told me I could buy a new apple 11 that was worth $1,000 for $500. He told me it was new and unused. I checked out phone with at&t and they assured me it was never worth $1,000 Maybe $800. I bought the phone for the $500 and had it hooked up to my account. I then contacted Apple to register phone and get the free apple tv offered with new purchased phones . I also wanted to sign up for their warranty program. Apple told me the phone was registered in Feb. and past dates to qualify for the tv promotion and too old to get warranty. This purchase and conversation happened in July. The malls closed due to covid the next day. I tried to call cellat at phone # listed on my reciept but it was out of service. When malls reopened I called and told them They lied to me about the phone being new . I had already programed my phone and bought chargers and cases for the phone. I wanted to know what they were going to do . I suggested they replace the screen on my other phone and I would be satisfied. They told me to bring in phone and they would fix it.. I went to their booth and they changed story. Wasted my time and now offered to return my original $500. I had purchased items to go with this phone and felt they lied about the phone being new.I feel that they tried to take advantage of me and think they should be fined for misrepresenting Apple. AVOID this place at all cost. You are better off going to an actual cell phone repair store in the mall. Their prices are relatively the same so it's not like it's less expensive because it's a kiosk. I brought my phone in to get my screen fixed and it was not working several days later. I took my phone in again and they replaced the screen and again days later the screen was glitchy. I got annoyed by this and decided to get a refund, however, that is something they were not willing to do and I found that to be very irritating considering I did all this in the span of two weeks or less. Came here cause my sister recommended them for iPhone repair and the guy originally quoted me 85$ for iPhone 7 was able to talk him down to $80 for "China glass" obviously I was aware that is cheaply made and he had stated the brightness was slightly different than original and even showed me and I was okay with it cause it wasn't much of a difference so I agreed and he told me 20 minutes which is typical. Came back and he had me unlock my phone to check things out and tells me it's "defective" and to come back in another 20 to put a whole new glass on so I said fine but went to a different iPhone kiosk down the way who told me 70$ so I decided to go back and tell him to just put my original cracked screen back on and seek elsewhere which takes the same time finally came back for the last time with a new screen even though I had originally stated to put the old one back on and said he'd charge me 70$ okay fine I wasn't gonna hassle anymore. I visited this place at the mall and requested an otter box case for my phone. The employee there seemed very friendly and went and got the case for me and put it on my phone. I paid him $45 and left. Before I left the mall I noticed the guy gave me a case that was not an OTTER BOX case. I went back and asked him why he had cheated me like that if I was very specific as to the case I wanted. He pretended to be mad and when I asked how much the otter box was he said it was the same prize but that he was going to return my $$. SUPER SHADY!!! This people probably take advantage of so many people at the mall. I have not yet gone to see if I can make a formal complaint at the mall but I will definitely do that!!! What upset me the most was that this salesperson did this with total intend to rob me as he was walking to get my case he asked me to wait when I followed him and he also inquired if I knew what the otter box looked like. The make believe case looked exactly like otter but except it didn't have the writing. MAKES ME SOOO MAD TO THINK THAT HE SAW ME AS BEING SO STUPID!!!! I had a phone screen protector applied to my cell phone at the Cellat Kiosk in The Pacific Mall, Ventura at a cost of $16. Within weeks the protector chipped and cracked which I assume was due to a very low impact drop. I took the phone back to Cellat and they charged a further $10 to replace the protector. When I got home I noticed that the protector was not lined up properly and resolved to take it back for a free replacement when convenient for me. I did so within a couple of weeks (unfortunately during the couple of weeks another chip and crack developed) I explained to the person manning the kiosk that the protector was misaligned and he could see that it was but he refused to replace the protector without me paying a further $10 citing that it was chipped. He would not accept the logic that the protector was misaligned before it was chipped, nor the fact that the misalignment was his error and therefore required replacement regardless of the subsequent chip. I stopped trying to reason with him as he was argumentative and was not willing to treat his customer as the proverbial king. read more
