However, they didn't even repair my Ipad, they actually gave it back to me in a worse condition saying there was no point in returning it to its original state since they couldn't fix it. I emphasized how I left my Ipad in great condition and it isn't fair that a literal device repair shop returns my personal belonging, damaged. The employee did not offer whatsoever any help to repair my Ipad of the damages they added onto it, and showed absolutely no concern over it either. Might I add, the issue the employee said they couldn't fix is fixable at another location so I have absolutely no idea why this employee thought it was okay completely giving up on my device (on the damages they added). They did offer to fix the screen once it starts working again... with a charge. I asked if it was going to be discounted at least and he said yes but probably not the kind of discounted I am looking for. I definitely wouldnt recommend this location when it comes to Ipad repairs.

I had a broken screen on my Motorola. Granted it wasn't the new Iphone, but it was only a couple of years old, so you think they would be able to fix it quickly. I wanted to support a local business so I decided to check them out. They quickly determined that they could fix my phone, but they "needed to order the part." I was surprised as fixing displays seems like their main function, so not having the part on hand was strange. They then said that they needed me to pre-pay for the part. Again, I thought that was a bit bush-league, but okay, I thought, they are trying to cover themselves. They said that the part would be in in a few days. Then the trouble began. #1 They never called to tell me when the part came in. After about 5 days of not hearing from them, I called them and they said the part would come in in two more days. Also, I should call about it as "none of the people who [they] work with ever call the customers about the parts." So I called three more times until they told me the part came in, 8 days after I first brought my phone in. #2 I took the phone in to get fixed. When I came to pick it up, they told me the screen didn't work so they had to order another new screen. But don't worry, they will overnight it and they will for sure call me when it comes in. #3 Three days later, no call, so I call them and they tell me the part will come in the next day. They assure me they will call me this time. #4 Jackpot! They actually did call me and the phone got fixed. It only took 14 days from when I originally showed up. Go there if you want the job done but done very slowly. I should have just fixed it myself. read more

I have to use my phone on a daily basis for work and the day I had to work the Home and Garden show, the screen stopped working and could no longer register the touch of my finger to swipe the code in the phone to unlock it. I went over to Verizon and they couldn't help me other than using an early upgrade, but they referred me to Drop Smash Fix and told me that it would take no longer than a couple of hours to replace the screen. I stopped by before heading into work and I was greeted by Oscar, who was not only friendly, but super helpful as well. I told him my dilemma and mentioned he had a friend that he helped not too long ago with the same problem. After looking at the phone for a bit, he did a soft reset Nd my problem was solved! And without having to replace the screen (which is cracked) . I asked him how much I owed him and he said to write a review on Yelp. (Sure, no problem!) I loved Oscar's customer service so much, that I plan on bringing my phone in to replace the screen next week, which has been cracked for some time. First of all, it is so refreshing during this crazy covid era to have a company answer the phone with a REAL LIVE PERSON! No recording, no 20-minute holds, etc! My husband and I have been impressed with DropSmashFix ever since we discovered them a few years ago. They are polite and personable and helpful, even over the phone. Today I was looking for a specific iphone case for my new phone. Tried Best Buy (they are not even fielding questions on the phone!) Looked online and found the cheapest case they had was around $30. And they only had black available (unless I wanted to wait for 10 days). Since I can never find my phone in the dark shadows of my purse, I had determined to get a brightly colored case. Then I remembered DropSmashFix and called them. Within 30 minutes of my phone call, I had a new bright yello Otterbox phone case AND a screen protector--installed...both for only $37. I'm rushing into the bathroom to take a shower and watch in slow motion my IPhone dropping into the toilet oh no!! I do what I can to dry it (put it on rice, warm oven) nothing. I go into my cell phone service center sorry you need to buy a new phone $500!!! I don't have that kind of money but I remember driving by a cell phone repair place. I walked in to DropSmashFix on Main Street and told them what happened. No problem they say give us 48 hours and if we can't fix it you don't pay. And we will help you buy a used one. Well, Oscar fixed my iPhone as good as new and it was only $40.00 a far cry from $500. They were fast, efficient and very friendly. My audio jack stopped working I was worried i would have to leave my phone there while they fixed it . However to my surprise Oscar fixed my phone in less than 10 minutes. I can tell you one thing for sure about this place They can and will do great job and there attitude is totally professional. I believe these guys are fair, honest and in it for the long haul. Understand also whenever there is an attempt to fix something that has been broken it doesn't always go perfectly. The best any service can do is offer, to try again, at no charge and these guys will do that. So, I think ,it is not fair to lash out (with a bad yelp review) at a valuable service like this in the unusual circumstance your phone didn't get fixed exactly as planned. read more

After several emails, I provided a 300-word SEO enhanced article for his blog. That was the last time I heard from him. I've sent an invoice for my services to his email several times. Honestly this shop is a great place to get your phone fix! This past week I've been extremely busy going errands after errands and unfortunately I dropped my phone while hopping into my car. Since I live near Drop Smash Fix so I stopped by thinking my phone would take hours or days to get fixed but luckily Frank was there to fix my iPhone 11 Pro Max within one hour! Ulysses repaired my iphone on Sunday 6/21/15. The main button was somehow stuck as Siri kept on coming on without the button being touched, but Ulysses called me within 30 minutes of leaving him with my iphone, and said it was fixed. He, as well as the other guys, are very friendly and professional. I heard another guy talk to another customer while I was there on Sunday, and he was also knowledgeable and had customer service skills. Wow! I dropped and smashed my Iphone 4. The only thing left to do was FIX! I came across this amazing place called DROPSMASHFIX and from the moment I saw the sign from Main St and walked into the store it was a done deal. Joey at the Ventura shop is fantastic. His knowledge of the products is very impressive and he was very patient with me. My family and I are apparently clumsy enough that we shouldn't be allowed to have nice things, including smart phones and tablets. Thankfully, they guys here in Midtown have saved our devices more than once. I've brought them my son's thrashed Ipad, and my own cracked phone, and have typically had the repairs down within an hour or two depending on their workload. ZERO STARS!!! I took my phone in to fix the charging port & 2days later was told to pick it up because they broke the platform the charging port is mounted on. Now it's unfixable and have to buy a new phone.Not only was the stupid punk kid at the counter rude but had the audacity to say " That sucks for you" They had my phone for 24days and the issue is still unresolved!!! My iPhone stop charging and I didn't know what to do. Went to my carrier and they said its time for a new phone. Went to Mac store and they wanted to keep it for a couple days and cost $150 to check it out. Finally heard of this place and they had it fixed and only charged me $40. Took less than a hour. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS! They will lie to you about EVERYTHING! They are shady, they do shoddy work, and they WILL and DO go through your private things on your phone. They DO NOT need your password to replace a screen on your phone. They DO find it amusing to search girls phones for pictures that they share around the office. They are disgusting and do awful work. Great place! I recently spilled liquid white out all over my phone which seeped into the ear speaker. I couldn't hear anything when I made calls and was convinced I needed a new phone. I remember going around town in…read moreVentura to 5 different locations, all other businesses were more expensive to repair the glass on my iPhone. I even did a Yelp "project request" where your repair is sent out to all the businesses nearby and they reply with quote. All the other options were way more expensive than it needed to be. I've repaired my own stuff before like my 2012 MacBook Pro and old iPhones. I understand the cost of a repair part roughly because I used to buy them myself back then. Most newer models have parts that are harder to repair now. I still know I am not getting overcharged here compared to other places. Ever heard of mechanics overcharging women? They do not do that here, at least not with me. To put the cost difference in perspective, this place would charge $90 for a repair vs $140-$200 elsewhere for the same service and repair part. This is roughly the difference. Is this place in a mall or a nice shopping center. No. But all you need to do is drop off your iPhone for a few hours and they will contact you when it's ready. However, since I dropped off my phone, they just told me to come back in 2 hours or something. They are pretty good with telling you an exact time to pick up the device. I usually just stop by an hour after the time they told me and the repair was always done. However, it does not hurt so always give a call before to make sure its ready. I think you can also contact them via social media but I would double check if they use a social platform to interact with customers that have no phone. This place will probably have the cheapest and best quality service compared to everyone else. Other places are more expensive and one place in Ventura even tried to upsell me a better-quality glass for the iPad screen for a higher cost. At that point, just get a good screen protector for your devices after the repair at this place. I would prefer a good quality screen protector after a repair anyways. That way you can just replace the cracked glass protector instead of taking it in again for a repair. You would think, the glass would crack no matter how strong the glass is, if you hit it hard enough. This is the only place I recommend to friends and family. I got three devices fixed here: MacBook Pro 2012 (broken screen repair), iPhone (glass repair), and iPad (glass repair). I would bring your device here for a quote. I never had to wait for a part to come in. However, I would imagine for an older model device, they may need to order the part which will happen at most places you go to.

I did that and it was in fact not better. My screen is delayed, bad quality, the Home Screen doesn't work. When you go to settings and look at the product service history, it says part unknown. The store does not offer refunds, and they are unable to fix the quality. I would like to receive a partial refund at least or I'm going to move forward with a dispute for defective service. I had to go to another shop ti get the part fixed with a genuine part.
