The apple store was going to take my watch for 13 days to replace the battery. I saved money and the batteries work fine. The only issue was that the iphone doesn't recognize the battery as an Apple product but my phone is 4 years old so I really don't care what Apple has to say. I opted for OEM and when I got my phone back it was immediately evident it was not OEM. The screen was not flush in the case. It was sticking out about 3mm. Even worse, 3D Touch was not working at all. He then offered to charge me only $85 and I told him I wasn't going to pay a dime. Then he offered $80 and again I said I wasn't going to pay a dime. He then replaced the screen with my original cracked one and now half of my screen is discoloured. "But it's only the on/off switch," I bleated. They claimed it was all one component. (Spoiler alert: bullshit.) Then I contacted CPR. They quoted me less than half. I had to give them half of that ($50) so they would order the part. They kept me apprised every step of the way, and accurately managed my expectations. Then met them. When they received the part, I dropped off my phone. They helped me put it into maintenance mode; so my apps and data were protected. Yay! I got a call when the phone was ready. They took less than the hour and a half they had advised me it might take. I was able to pick it up on my way out for the evening. All in all, a marvellous experience, and a very satisfying resolution to my hardware issue. Highly recommended.

I brought it in Saturday afternoon, and they said they had to order the battery since it's an older phone, so I might have to wait until Wednesday before it would be ready. They also warned me that the display may fracture when reinstalling it flat again, as it was bowed quite a lot. I said I'd take the risk. Happily, they got the battery on Monday, installed it right away and I was able to pick it up Monday afternoon (today). 5 stars for speed, friendly service, but especially for the care they put into getting a badly warped display out and back in, completely flat, without causing a fracture.
