The on/off switch on my Samsung S20+ was starting to fall out of the casing. I called one place on Yonge, they wanted $220 to replace the screen. "But it's only the on/off switch," I bleated. They claimed it was all one component. (Spoiler alert: bullshit.) Then I contacted CPR. They quoted me less than half. I had to give them half of that ($50) so they would order the part. They kept me apprised every step of the way, and accurately managed my expectations. Then met them. When they received the part, I dropped off my phone. They helped me put it into maintenance mode; so my apps and data were protected. Yay! I got a call when the phone was ready. They took less than the hour and a half they had advised me it might take. I was able to pick it up on my way out for the evening. All in all, a marvellous experience, and a very satisfying resolution to my hardware issue. Highly recommended. read more

I was able to book my Samsung Note 10+ for service online, overnight. Renisha called first thing in the morning to confirm my appointment time. That's outstanding - most repair shops are much more informal (& unpredictable). On arrival she did a quick diagnostic, assured me she could repair the phone & gave me a pick-up time for later that day. The work was done on-time and for a very reasonable cost. The phone is long past warranty, but it's reassuring to know this repair service is Samsung-authorized. I've done sales & customer service, managed networks & development, managed customer accounts, been a headhunter for years. I'm hard on retail & customer service (they're near-universally done poorly) but feel honour-bound to commend people who do it well. Renisha is the model for exceptional service, and the store appears to be well-equipped to deal with typical smartphone emergencies. I'm thrilled to find a smartphone repair service that does competent service & operates so professionally. I hope I don't need it again but it's earned a place in my phone book for next time (there will almost certainly be a next time!) & so I can refer others to them. read more

I, being an idiot, placed my brand new Samsung Galaxy S6 in the same pocket as my set of keys during a camping trip one weekend. The result being a very noticeable scratch on the rear camera lens that I needed to get repaired post-haste. Being an authorized Samsung repair centre, I thought I'd drop by and see what they had to offer. Joe, one of the business owners, took a quick look, gave me a reasonable quote, approximate time-frame, and a description of their (very necessary) post-repair warranty. I dropped by an hour and a half later, saw that the lens was good as new, and I was outta there. The business owners seem to take a lot of pride in what they do and charge a fair price for their services. I couldn't recommend this business enough. If I ever screw up my phone again (knowing myself, there is a very large possibility of this occurring), I'll be back! read more

I dropped my Samsung S8 which i just got last month and I called a couple of places and they did not fit what I needed. Then I found CPR and spoke to David on the phone. He was very polite answered all my questions and informed me right away of how much it would cost to get my phone and how long it would take. I brought my Samsung Tablet on Dec. 27, 2017 to fix black screen problem. Etobicoke Location. I was told that I have to paid $65 + parts, and taxes the same day or next to fix it. But if it is not repairable I still will have to pay $35 for labor. I was agreeing on it. Now week later (Jan. 2, 2018) they told me that tablet cannot be repaired, but I still have to pay $65 plus taxes. Good business. Congratulations. Visited this place sometime in 2014. I dropped my iPhone and it damaged the part where people can't hear when I'm talking to them. The only way they could hear me was if they were on speaker. This made for uncomfortable conversations as everyone can hear your personal info. I brought my phone to CPR, and with in 2-3 hours and $75, my phone was repaired and in working order. I'm down the street from work so it was worth the time frame. Wish they opened up earlier but beggars can't be choosers. It's not everyday this issue happens so if you need a repair, these guys know what they are doing. Also, Yorkdale is down the street. Go window shop if you need to kill time. If you're hungry, there is a red lobster next door plus several other places to grab a bite all within walking distance. read more

I dropped my Note 8 on the ground, its glass shattered and I needed to get it repaired. Joe called me right back and informed me the price outright, and was very kind about my many questions. It was a bit pricey, but as this is a Samsung service center and as my phone is a newer model I decided to just get it done, and get a tempered glass screen protector while I was at it. They offered me a discount on the protector as they knew I had spent quite a lot on the repair which was nice. Very happy with the service. They were able to repair it same day, and I have no problems with the phone! Very happy with them and would definitely recommend them again. read more

Wow - amazing place. I gave them an S7 with a broken screen and after 2 hrs, it didn't work because it was a U.S phone and the replacement screen wasn't compatible. Went in there for an estimate, my iphone 5 screen was cracked and home button wasn't working. The man was nice and friendly but he told me 130$ for repair. So I went down the street at iPrex I got it all fixed for 80. Maybe this is worth it if you have a newer model and maybe this place has better quality screens or something, but if you have an older phone you just want fixed for cheap I wouldnt recommend this place read more

Samsung Galaxy SII X screen and LED screen destroyed. Brought it in back in August (forgot to writer review =P), and they told me frankly was an expensive repair. Went for it anyways. They checked it through and through, okayed that nothing else was broken, replaced what needed to be replaced. Phone works brilliantly like the day I got it. Happy I kept a phone out of the dump. Money's replaceable at the end of the day. The materials for this phone aren't once they're in the trash. Thanks CPR. *UPDATE: When I went to pick up my unrepaired laptop, it was missing a key (which it wasn't before) and the associate (his name is Dan) did not say anything, it was only because I checked the condition before I left. Then he was pissed that he had to fix the key they removed and failed to return. I dropped a 1/4cup of water on my mac keyboard and the keyboard stopped working. I took my laptop in to remove the water damage and get it checked out on May 13th. They said they would call me the next day to let me know if there was anything that needed replacing. No one called. I gave them a day and called them on May 15th, they said the manager would call me back. The manager called me back at the end of the day on May 16th to tell me the keyboard needed replacing and that the part would come in on May 21st and would probably be ready on May 22nd, and he would give me a call when ready. May 22nd comes and no one calls me. Again, I give them another day. I call May 23rd to check the status and told the manager is not there and will call me tomorrow. No one called, so I called May 24th and was told by the Manager that the part would probably come in Friday late afternoon and be ready for Monday, May 27th. He calls Friday late afternoon to tell me the shipment came in WITHOUT my part and he's emailed the supplier. I assume that the part was suppose to come in two weeks after I put in my computer because they were waiting for multiple parts to save on shipping. I called today Monday, May 27th to find out what is now the timeline as I'm leaving the country Friday. I'm told by an associate that the manager is dealing with a customer and will call me back. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? NO ONE CALLED. I called back and was told the manager wasn't even in today! BUT I did deal with the RUDEST associate possible who when I explained my situation was unsympathetic and unapologetic (and supposedly he is the one in charge today). I told him his reponses were disrespectful and rude to which he replied, "Well that's your opinion." I asked him about what I was going to get charged for this repair considering it's now going to be three weeks without my computer that I use for work and he said, "Well you can pick it up unrepaired." I told him I was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau for lack of transparency and poor customer service. He said, "You should." Honestly, I maintained my cool up until today when I received the worst non-chalant rude answers from CPR. So I'm picking up my computer still broken today. Honestly pay more money and go directly to the manufacturer of the product and don't deal with places who don't want to deal with you. read more

This cell phone repair store does not totally fix the repair like they claim. Daniel has a very poor attitude and is abrupt and rude when asked questions. I first saw Joe, the owner, and he claimed a great deal of the Samsung phones have defective charge ports. Upon receiving my phone back, people would not be able to hear me when I called them; and when they called me, it would hang up. I took it back to the store to point this problem out. They repaired my applications and regular calling system; however, the charge port, despite 3 times going ii to see them, was still not fixed. Daniel, an employee there, when asked if he could get the phone in again for the charge port; he abruptly and rudely said, "NO!" Then I asked for a partial refund and he said "NO!". I said I want to talk to Joe; because he said I could get a partial refund. Daniel said, "The owner comes and goes. You see me here". (there was no one else in the store except him and the technician was just entering). I told him I want to talk to Joe for a partial refund; as $134.47 was spent. Daniel seemed indifferent. Just plain RUDE. Please go somewhere else for your repairs; the service was terrible. read more

I was told the chip on my phone was gone on my Iphone 8. I paid $200+ and figured I can use it for a year or so more. Within months it stopped working again and I was told it was the same issue. They fixed it and within 2 weeeks stopped again. This time I was told that it's a known issue with this phone and I should think about buying another phone. They also had the audacity to ask me to pay for the repair again! I felt like I got ripped off, they should have told me this as it was a known issue from the beginning. Instead, they charged me for the service and when they couldn't fix it properly they blamed me. They said it was my fault for updating my software (anyone that has an Iphone knows the phone doesn't work properly or at all without updating) but they never did tell me. At the end of it i bought an Iphone 11 pro max from a reputable store. I would steer clear of this one! read more

When it comes to cell phone repair, I have to say the guys at CPR are the friendliest, most knowledgeable and most importantly fair. I came here to fix my s6 camera. The guy i spoke with knew exactly what was wrong with it and gave me a few options. There was no pressure from him or anything which i appreciated. I took his advice and to my surprise he said it would be finished within 2 hours. I decided to wait in the store because they had complimentary wifi and an extremely friendly dog. As I sat there patiently waiting for my phone, I saw the way this guy handled every customer and I have to say that I was impressed. He was fair with everybody! There were even a few occasions where he recommended other businesses which may be able to handle their request better then he could. One lady simple had dirt in her mic and he fixed it free of charge when I'm sure he could have gotten some money from her. This speaks volumes for me. I've been to places like Pacific Mall where customer service is terrible and the parts you get are sometimes not as advertised. This was a refreshing change. When I received my phone, I was happy with the results and even offered to pay a bit more money because he fixed another part for me. He promptly declined and said that it was no problem. My phone works like new again and I couldn't be happier with this place. 100% i will be coming back here but hopefully not soon :p read more

Well you know what they say about bring your phone into the bathroom at your parents house.....my S4 fell into (thankfully) a clean toilet and water damage started creeping down the screen. Did the rice thing for a couple of days but it did not clear up. Brought my phone into Peter/Joe and it was fixed 24 hrs later.
